Give A Day hit home ~ prayers please

I have to say, this is my first post. I tried once before, but technical difficulties, and it didn't work. I've been a longgggg time lurker. So, here goes.

I signed up to make pillowcases (5 for each person) and mail them to the organization for Give A Day.
This organization gives the pillowcases to sick kids at the hospital. Including kids suffering with cancer. Well, I was about 1/2 way done with our 15 pillowcases, and found out that our neighbor boy who is less than 2 years old is sick. His illness is a name I cannot pronounce, nor figure out how to spell, but it leads to cancer and all sorts of other complications, according to his mom. My heart sank to my toes. I could not believe the news.
I am going to make 2 extra pillowcases. One for Nathan and one for his big 3 year old sister, Michaela. I just ask that you please say a prayer for their family. They are very sweet people. I'm not quite sure the prognosis, but I hope for the best.

That is the worst thing when the little ones get sick. That is so sweet of you to make for his sis too! I am sure they will be appreciated.

Ug, these stories pull at my heart strings. (And everyone I am sure.) poor little boy and poor family. I am sure you will be even more inspired now. I hope they caught it soon and it is treatable. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
