Give a Day Get a Disney Day Alternatives

Okay. I haven't been able to find a post on this subject on DIS and I can't get a straight answer online anywhere else.

Now, I volunteered and I received my voucher. However, I am going to be visiting WDW in September and I will not need the ticket. But I've heard there are other options for the voucher. Aside from donating it to a charity, I've heard you can also redeem it for a Fastpass good for certain rides and up to 4 or 5 other members of your party.

Can anyone verify this? And if so, where and when do I redeem the Fastpass? Thank you.

Nevermind! I printed out my redemption voucher and...well...it clearly stated on there that you can and how to do it!

"Instructions for Annual Passholders and multi-day ticket holders redeeming voucher for an alternate option instead of the 1-day, 1-theme park ticket.

Present your valid ID, this voucher, and your valid multi-day ticket or Annual Pass at a theme park will call ticket window to redeem for a Disney's FASTPASS Special Exchange card or for a Special Ear hat figurine with unique trading pins."
