Has anyone used one of these? How does it work? What rides is it good for? Thanks!

We did this last week. You go to the ticket booth and hand them your free ticket certificate, your ID and your mulit day ticket. If you are traveling with a group, you will need their tickets also so they can get fast passes. I think you can get up to 6 sets if your group is that big.
They then print out a card for each person and you take it to the tour group gazebo in DL and they print each person a strip of 6 tickets. 3 of Donald's favorites and 3 of Daisy's. I can't remember which rides were on them, but they were rides that have fast passes regularly. You can still use your park ticket to get additional fast passes for the rides on top of your free ones.
You just hand them your special fast passes at the fast pass entrance and you go through like a normal fast pass. Sometimes we were handed back our fast passes to use again and again, which was nice.
We also redeemed one of our days for the pin set which was nice. There were 4 in our family that had the free day. We did 3 fast pass days and 1 pin set.
I think it was well worth it since it was busy when we were there.

Sarah.

My friend has two GAD vouchers she can't use. Can she give them to me, or are they non-transferable? We already have our admission tickets, so I'd like to use her vouchers for something. Maybe I can just bring her the pin set.

You won't be able to do anything with them unless the person who has their name on it is there with their ID to exchange it.

We used our in March & in was Fantastic. We were there during Spring Break so it was crowded. It was definitely worth a few hours of sweat. One thing is that if an attraction has run out of Fast Passes for the day, they will still have 1 machine open that says for GAD Passes only. This happened several times while we were there. Be prepared to get some hateful looks from people trying to get a regular Fast Pass in ther GAD machine after they saw us get ours.

They are non-transferrable. The vouchers have their name on them & you must show a photo ID

We didn't get our GAD passes from a machine at the ride, they were given to us all at once at the tour group booth.

What are the pins that you can get? Anyone have a picture of them?

We were given the cards & told to put them into the Fast Pass machines at the rides that we wanted to ride. That was how they limited how many you could get since it was 3 from each group, total of 6.

All 4 in my family did the volunteer work so we got 4 GAD passes. We used 1 at each park. By the way, if you have a child who did the project too, they will get the GAD pass just like the adults. The big thing is you need a photo ID. DD just got her drivers license so she had one. I had actually taken DS to the DVM last year to get him a photo ID because I didn't want to carry his birth certificate for the Free Birthday Program last year. They asked him for ID too & I had made sure he had his card. I don't know what they would have done if he didn't have that ID card. He loves it because it looks similiar to a drivers license.

As a pp said, we just gave our paper tickets at the fp line and did not have to go to a fp machine. However, the days we were there the lines were not long at all so we only ended up turning in 1 of our 3 GAD vouchers for fp. So we get to donate our other 2 GAD vouchers!! YAY! :cheer2: Hopefully two kids will have some very magical memories of their visit to the park because of our vouchers :goodvibes
Also, the one day that we did get the GAD fp’s we couldn’t even use all of them. There were two kind women in front of us at WOC that tried to move over to make a better view for my kids who were having a hard time seeing. We ended up giving each of them a Donald’s Favorite – they were so excited! :cool1:
