:rolleyes1Yet another planning thread from me...

My middle DD loves Giselle from Enchanted. Being a red-head, I think she identifies with her.;) Anyway, I have two quick questions:

1. We plan on doing BBB and I would love to get her the curtain dress for this. I have only ever seen the M&S versions on Ebay and never for age 8-9. Has anyone got any idea where I could get one? Do they sell them in the Parks?

2. Does Giselle appear as a character meet-and-greet in any of the Parks or events?

Thanks.:goodvibes

I love Giselle too:cloud9: i have not seen her in disney, but your best bet would be a princeses meet in MK or Akerhaus in EPCOT :goodvibes my DDs did BBB and loved it mainly the regular princesses for costumes. Your coulspd try a local dress maker i am sure they would love doing this dress:hug:

Never seen anything Giselle in the parks unfortunately - think it is something to do with the fact that it was a real actress not animation.

My DD used to have one of those M & S Giselle dresses it was stunning - always used to get lots of nice comments and was a proper well made dress. I know my nieces had it in age 7-8, I've never seen it bigger. They sell for ££ on ebay now.

One option for BBB for older girls is to just get a nice bridesmaid type dress.

Or if she would be another princess the older girls sizes sometimes come on ebay worn once. I think some older girls do the BBB full package then when back in UK will never wear the dress. Try after Easter or summer hols on ebay.

My DD wore an English dress up dress this year (by Travis lots of stunning ones and bigger sizes) and got alot of comments on the dress from other guests as it was something different - she wasn't bothered she wasn't a disney princess this year.

I have thought about having one made but I think it would be expensive.:confused3

I will have a shop around for a pretty dress. I don't think she would want to be one of the popular princesses but she would be OK with Giselle as the curtain dress is just like a pretty gown. I might see if I can get a purple dress like the one Giselle wears at the end in the ballroom.:confused3

Giselle doesn't meet in the parks. She did when the movie first came out. They were going to make her one of the Disney Princesses, however they would have had to pay Amy Adams a royalty for using her likeness so she was never added to the Princess line up.

Giselle is one of my favourites too, as I'm a natural red head too!!

Partly true.
Mary Poppins is played by a real actress and Mary Poppins meets and greets at Epcot and appears in parades.

Giselle has not been made into a real Disney princess since it would have meant paying large amount of money to Amy Adams who possesses the rights to the "image" of Giselle.

Only Enchanted merchandise are (will be) available, and aside from a few rare appearances there is no real chance to see her hit the parks.
She made a cameo appearance in 2007 as part of the movie promotion, but it will most likely stop at that.
