Meredith (me) - 17 year old Disney fanatic who knows everything there is to know about Disney (well almost). Plans to be a tour guide at Disney or intern in a Resort Management job in the coming years.

Kim (mom) 45 :scared1: She will kill me if she sees that. Likes Disney and is amused by the vast amount of information I dish out on our trips.

I may be getting a little ahead of myself but what the heck...

Even though spring break is over for me I decided I needed one more Disney trip before school lets out. This is my last year in high school, Im allowed to miss a few days to go to Disney. We are leaving Thursday morning (4/7) at 10 am which will hopefully get us there by 1:30 pm if traffic isnt too bad. We are staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge which is new and exciting to me. I hear its fantastic. I am a big Polynesian fan myself. We are only staying from Thursday to Sunday evening but I plan to do it all including 2 tours. We have ressies for The Segway Tour which I hear is just awesome and the Keys to the Magic Kingdom Tour. Thrusday night we have PS for 50s Prime Time Cafe which I havent been to since my first trip to WDW in 1992! During that adventure my mom and her best friend had to stand up while the waiters and customers yelled "Potty Mouth!! Shame! Shame! Shame!". She only said "Crap". With that as one of my first memories of WDW this should be fun and interesting. We also have PS's for a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and Tony's Town Square.

Eventhough this will be my 12th trip to disney in 13 years I still get so excited just like its my first trip. I'll definitely write my first trip report when I return!

Sounds like you're going to have a great time. I'm looking forward to your reports, especially about the Segway tour.

Great report and I look forward to reading about your upcoming trip. Just remember visits to Disney World are always an excused absence from school - at least in my book. Bribing your mom with chocolate will probably make her forget that you posted her age ;)

Merideth,

How refreshing to see a 17 year old know plan for her future and have goals at such an early age! I'm sure you will work at Disney in the future, and I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to read the rest of your report!

Have a great trip!

You're doing lots of our favorites on this trip. I'm curious to read your reaction to the Lodge. It's one of our favorite places in the world. I hope that my DD will be up to some girls only weekends when she's in high school.

Looking forward to your report...
