Oops, I lost my quote about the bird poop!! I was going to say the same thing happened to my Mom, but at Epcot. They used to do a little fife and drum parade through America, and we stopped to watch. My Mom was video taping, and all of a sudden a bird poops right on her hat. My brother and I were laughing hysterically while she just kept on taping the little parade. Then, it happened again!!!!!!! We told her why we were cackling, and she started screaming and trying to pull her hat off....but never stopped filming. That is one of our favorite home videos to watch just for the audio!

Well, that's not fun. Danielle worked the 4th.
It's okay. The weather was awful that day anyways.
Well I'm back home and still recovering from my work trip. We really worked hard getting Danielle moved.
you sure did!
Most days started at 9 am and didn't end until after 1 am.
When I left on Wednesday to go the airport the only things she had to move were the cats and their stuff.
Got a lot done. You all worked hard!
We did sit on the runway behind 4 other planes when we landed waiting our turn.
I'm guessing it was on a taxiway, but... nevertheless, I hate when you land and then have to wait more. I'm here! Let me off the plane!
Danielle has learned not to even leave her old apartment until we get off the plane so she doesn't have to wait on the side of the road.
We had to stop for McDonald's drive through on the way to her old apartment due to how late it was.
You know it's late when...
The airport has a restaurant tied to Leah Chase, the person Tiana is fashioned after.

I had no idea there was a real person! I'm going to Google her.
(Technically, I just did, but will read the article after this.)
We drove to her new apartment to get measurements
For... furniture? Or for window coverings? Or both? Or something else?
She is only about 10 exits away from her old apartment on 1-4 but depending on the time the traffic can be bad.
I've heard horror stories of I-4. Haven't had the displeasure of being stuck on it, I don't think.
I do remember being stuck, heading up to Chattanooga, but that would've been I-75 I think.
I'm just going to say it, she's very picky.
Oh dear.
Danielle had found a couch she liked in the mid-century modern style. She tried it out and liked it but also saw something else. She also couldn't decide if she wanted to commit to mid-century modern or go with something more eclectic. Again she's very picky and tends to overthink things.
We went to Ikea, Costco, Ashley furniture, the Super Target and Home Goods and made lots of purchases.
That sounds... exhausting...
We needed to stop at a
Walmart so we hit the very big one on International. I hope I never have to go there again. The lines for check out were 10+ people deep.
Ugh... Nope!
saw a Brazilian tour group too, they aren't just in the parks.
We also had to drive to a co-workers home to get some brand new and slightly used kitchen items she was giving Danielle.
Nice of her.
This co-worker drives over an hour to work each way.
Hmmm... What do you think of that?
I drive (depending on time of day and construction/traffic) 30-60 minutes. I've never really thought of it as overly long most days. The days when it takes an hour to get home, I do.
But I also know people commute 2+ hours, so...
When we got ready to drive back to the new apartment there was an accident on SR 27 and bad traffic on I-4 so we had to go the long way back. I have seen more of SR 27 than I care to see again.
Ugh...
We also saw lots of Orange groves which really did my heart good.
She ended up not have the right legs
How so? Were they picked up separately? Or wrong ones in the kit?
At this point I can't tell you how many times I had passed a set of the Disney Welcome gates and still had not been inside them.
That must've been tough. I don't know if I could've resisted the lure.
I had told her to get the stud finder at Home Depot but she wouldn't listen to me. Those cabinets are still waiting to be put together and mounted.
Heh.
Every girl can use a stud finder, no?
While we were getting ourselves together Sara called the
Lego store to see if the Titanic set Danielle has been wanting for over a year was in stock.
I saw that on IG. I thought... "Wow!"
The Titanic price was $679 without tax but she ended up paying a little of $200 after discounts, credits and gift cards. She was extremely happy.
No wonder she's happy! But... wow! I couldn't imagine paying almost $700 for a
Lego set. $200 is
much more reasonable.
It's bigger than she is!
We got some very interesting looks and comments as we carried it to Earl of Sandwich to grab some lunch before leaving.

I bet!
We made several trips back and forth and I washed lots of dishes and cleaned out lots of cabinets.
You need to lie down now, okay?
I think the hardest thing to move was all Danielle's Legos, the Castle being the hardest. It did not make it in one piece but she was able to fix it.
I saw an IG post from her saying she didn't want to move it again. I wondered if it had made the move unscathed.
I told her it can be her coffee table once she gets a couch.
And we will be back with Danielle in 15 more sleeps.
Soon!
