Good morning, ladies! Happy Hump Day!! Today the oven repairman is supposed to show up. Hopefully he can fix it quickly. Now that I cannot bake, I have the sudden urge to do so. LOL

Oh silly Beth, of course you can come!
Just toss some pizza and cereal on the floor, hand over the games and computer. That's all teenagers need right? ::yes:: :thumbsup2
For my teens, yes. They'd love for me to just go and not worry about them. But the twins need a bit more supervision.
Hmm.......maybe I could do sort of an abridged version of the trip... Maybe leave Friday and come home Sunday. That way Ruben would only require one day off. It would be a short trip, but at least I'd get to be around on Saturday and see everyone. Sort of like I did the very first year. I need to plot and plan and see what happens. I really would love to be there at least part of the time. Maybe I can even shorten my June Michigan trip by a day or so..... We'll see. These trips are like a drug! LOL Too hard to resist.

Good luck surviving winter. I don't envy you. Just like no one envies me in summer! :rotfl2: I remember the snow being a welcome sight in November and December. Made everything so pretty and just really felt like the holidays. But man, January through April just sucked. Longest months ever.

We will stop by and visit with the group at the BBQ on Thursday but it does not appeal to either of us. I know it is good BBQ but I eat BBQ all summer at corporate picnics (and have for over 18 years), it is the last thing I want went I go out to eat!!
I love BBQ! But then, I don't eat it very often. That was one of the meals I was most looking forward to.

Hey, I see you are going on a girl's trip to Ireland!! I'm a girl, can I go?? :yay: OMG, I am so jealous of all your travels. Will you adopt me? ;)

I was just coming on to post about that. :rotfl:

Originally we had Ariel's breakfast down there for those who were arriving on Wednesday night. There were about 9 or 10 who were coming in a day early. But most of those people aren't coming in on Wed. anymore, and no one else was signing up for that breakfast, so I took it down.
I was just coming on here to post that I had removed it, but that if anyone wanted to add it again, I would be happy to do so.

So if the interest is still there, I will definitely put it back on the schedule. :) Just let me know.

I would be interested if anyone else wants to join me. My boys aren't too big into character breakfasts and for sure not princesses, so this would be my chance to go without having to drag them to it.

I love the idea of a progressive anything....progressive drinks....hmmmm....this could lead to morning mimosa's!

I was thinking of jello shots, they are one of my favorites to make and they are very tasty. There's always room for jello! :lmao:

I can add it back on. No problem. I'd totally go with you if I was going to be there that morning. The princesses are my favorite! princess:
You're there the week prior with your family, right? When do they head home?

**Divas: Is anyone else going to be around on Wednesday morning?

No, no, no. You need to use one for your stuff, one carry-on, and then one for all the chocolate you're bringing :thumbsup2 Seriously, Stacie. You need to think these things out better before you type :rolleyes1

Yes ma'am! I'll try and remember to bring LOTS of chocolate!!

So we'll see you then!!

Here's my meal signups:

Thursday-Paradise Garden Grill @ 1pm, Meet & Greet
Friday-BBQ, Cafe Orleans
Saturday-Hungry Bear, Napa Rose (I've never eaten there before)
Sunday-Surf's Up, WCT, maybe Trader Sam's
Monday-Riverbelle Terrace, quick lunch if I'm hungry before leaving at around 1pm

That's correct, I fly into Long Beach on Wednesday Feb. 15 at 8:24pm, the boys fly out on Wednesday Feb. 22 at 5:40 pm. Then I am staying until Monday Feb. 27, my flight is at 3:10 pm out of Long Beach. I am planning on having a rental car if anyone is going my way that day too.

So we'll see you then!!
Well, I don't know yet. LOL I might have to ask Capri for her super-duper tv watching tips. :rolleyes1 They worked for her in October. :happytv:

I will be arriving Wednesday around 4 pm into SNA and leaving Tuesday morning early.

My meals:
Thursday breakfast at Ariel's, Lunch with group and the meet and greet
Friday BBQ lunch and Cafe Orleans for dinner
Saturday: Hungry Bear lunch and Napa Rose dinner
Sunday: WCT for WOC seating for lunch
Monday: Riverbelle for Breakfast

I would like something for lunch or dinner on Monday....anyone around then want to join somewhere? Leaning towards Jazz Kitchen for Lunch.

All of these meals are for myself and my MIL Jill.

I am debating Fantasmic seating....

I am thinking about breakfast at Carnation Cafe on Sunday instead of the character meal. Anyone want to join?

Get em girl! I still need to write my funny Christmas letter. Two years ago it was multiple choice questions and last year was a top ten list. I need a new schtick for this year.
True or False?
Mine is the same way, I emailed and asked about it and they said it includes the $2 resort fee.

Thanks, you saved me a phone call.:thumbsup2

Me too, not sure on the F!... I know I'll eat more than I need while I'm there, so I won't really NEED desserts...

Carnation Cafe actually sounds pretty good for Sunday, anyone else?

I just received an email with our Annual Audit dates for next year:
Feb. 27th-Mar. 1st. Hmmmm...I don't think I will have recuperated from the trip yet. This should be fun :).

Isn't it going to be closed for the remodel?

Yes, I think you're right.

Yes, Yes!! This sounds like a great idea! You know ya wanta meet me!!:rotfl:

Hey, I see you are going on a girl's trip to Ireland!! I'm a girl, can I go?? :yay: OMG, I am so jealous of all your travels. Will you adopt me? ;)

Just in the process of booking the flights! I am so excited - I am mostly Irish and have always wanting to go to Ireland! One of my BFF's has a luxury timeshare and it includes a castle in Ireland. We do an annual girl's trip to celebrate her birthday. Been all over the world with her and her husband over the last 20 years. I know I am very lucky to be able to do all the traveling that I do~

Well, if Carnation is closed for remodel....then maybe Steakhouse 55, Tangaroa Terrace, or La Brea Bakery Cafe. I was thinking a sit down and be served kinda place, but not pay for characters. I have only been once, so any suggestions are helpful!!
