I believe she needs someone to watch her kids LOL. It's not wise to leave them alone (especially the older kids ).

It's been quite awhile since I have dropped in and said hello but I have been following along. I am so excited that we are less than 90 days until the diva trip and making ressies makes it all the more real.

Beth could you please put me down for:

Friday- Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, Cafe Orleans and the Fantasmic Dessert buffet.
Saturday- Napa Rose
Sunday- Surfs up

I thought there was a breakfast on Thursday morning but I don't see anything about it on the first page.

I also now have all my flights booked, woohoo!!! Alaska and Jet Blue have great rates going into and out of Long Beach.

I was just coming on to post about that.

Originally we had Ariel's breakfast down there for those who were arriving on Wednesday night. There were about 9 or 10 who were coming in a day early. But most of those people aren't coming in on Wed. anymore, and no one else was signing up for that breakfast, so I took it down.
I was just coming on here to post that I had removed it, but that if anyone wanted to add it again, I would be happy to do so.

So if the interest is still there, I will definitely put it back on the schedule. Just let me know.

The progressive party sounds fun! Although with as many ladies as we have coming on this trip, we might have to do a rotation through the villas. Looks like we are going to be taking over the VGC wing that night!

That's what I did. I was told the rate was $99 but when I got my email confermation it said $101. I'll call them in the morning and ask why the price difference.

So Sarah and I have our room for 3 nights !!!
I think it's time to start planning our door sign.
I hope they have everybodys rooms next to each other like last year.

I buckled down yesterday and got busy addressing Christmas cards. Finished and mailed all 66 of them this morning.

Get em girl! I still need to write my funny Christmas letter. Two years ago it was multiple choice questions and last year was a top ten list. I need a new schtick for this year.

I love the idea of a progressive anything....progressive drinks....hmmmm....this could lead to morning mimosa's!

I have to say I am apalled at the laziness of my students. I gave those who failed an opportunity to re-read (or just read) and re-take their reading quizzes and some of them still wasted the chance and failed a second time! They keep telling me they hate reading and they don't know the definitions of many common words. Reading solves vocabulary issues and makes people so much more intelligent. Oh, I dread these kids taking over someday.

Mine is the same way, I emailed and asked about it and they said it includes the $2 resort fee.

Just think in a few years they won't need you, sniffle, sniffle. My oldest is 18, it's really really hard not to step in, take over and "fix it". Gotta stop myself from nagging him to do his (college) homework.

Is it just me or did this month just fly by? December is usually a quick one too. Then the winter drags on for month and months and months and months... blah! I'm glad the trip is in February, it's a nice break from the cold and snow. I've done a few solo trips February or March, somehow the spring comes a little faster when I return home. Seeing some green on trees, grass, flowers and not bundled to my eyebrows for a few days, calms me down. Renews the spirit and ramps up that energy to get through the last bit until the spring thaw begins.

We will stop by and visit with the group at the BBQ on Thursday but it does not appeal to either of us. I know it is good BBQ but I eat BBQ all summer at corporate picnics (and have for over 18 years), it is the last thing I want went I go out to eat!!
