Good morning!

Thanks for the info Lisa. :thumbsup2

Jen, I am so happy for you. :goodvibes

Steph, I sincerely hope you can make it on the trip. You are one of our veterans, and will be missed. :sad1: When will you find out the dates of your seminar?

Angie, Well that is a bummer about the ladies trip, but going on a family cruise seems like a good trade. You will be missed too. :sad2: I hope you still hang around here and chat.

Bernice, Hope all is still going well for Noah.

Jess,

I wonder how our WDW ladies are doing? Having too much fun, I'm thinking. :dance3:

Now to Capri. LOL and too funny. Beer and eggs? :scared: I have to ask you....In the pic with you and Beth, did she even try the wine? And that thing in her hand does not look a "dum dum." :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Inquiring minds want to know. Well at least this one does. Anywhos, looks like I missed out on some good fun.

Beth, Some t-shirt news. :thumbsup2
First of all I got some pricing for them on Monday. Not sure how you want me to do this. I will PM you the info, and hopefully you can walk me through the process on Facebook. K? The next piece of news, is that the ladies pink tee we wanted is available to order from the print shop. So the websites you have on the front page are definite, and good to go for sizing. :cool1:

Yesterday, Derrick came over, and we discussed the pink tee design again. In order to get the look we want, I am going to have to use more colors this time. I hope that will be good for everyone. I really don't think it will cost too much more, cuz we have so many ladies attending this year. I also wanted to let you know that we are definitely using the vintage sign with "DisDivaland" written on it, but altering the rest of it a "bit." I hope you all will like it. I'm so excited. Oh and just for everyone's information, the original sign uses "pink" in the marquee. So it was meant to be. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That little "tid bit" of news was for Jess and Lisa. Weren't you guys the ones who wanted "teal?" :snooty: Aw... I am just kidding. But all in all, because of using pink background, we can incorporate that into the design colors. :thumbsup2

Have a nice day! :grouphug:

I also found a cute way to display all those cards. I usually just tape them to my door, lol, but this is so cute. All you need is some extra ribbon, tape, staple gun, and voila! Easy and pretty to look at. :santa:

What a great idea. I'm going to do it. The hub gets a bit upset with tape and pin holes on the wall.

I was also Team Teal.:goodvibes There's always next year !
I've got a rotten cold. Can't believe it since I just got over one a month ago. It's these kids, they always seem to be sick.

Except I see that the tie dye day never got put on the schedule for some reason??? I'm pretty sure that one was settled on, yes? Or was it tie dye and bling :confused3 Hmmmmmm.........

Tie dye and bling together?:scared: Now that's a scary thought !

Tie dye? I've got an idea for that!! It's on my Pinterest, use permanent markers to make short lines (around circle to form a Mickey head) and then spray it with rubbing alcohol.. ta da! No need to get all messy with dye.. and since it's markers not really tie dye, totally acceptable, right? ::yes::

I really like those shirts! Much easier than doing the tie dye that I've been doing... onto planning!!

I did try the wine. I think Capri will agree that this was pretty much my reaction to it: :crazy2: :rotfl:
As for the thing in my hand, it's pretty much just a more realistic version of a "dum dum". They are fake cigarettes from Party City. I got some for Noelle's 20's flapper costume to stick into her long cigarette holder.

Oh, and I replied to your PM. Just let me know all the specifics and I will go ahead with that. :thumbsup2

What a great idea. I'm going to do it. The hub gets a bit upset with tape and pin holes on the wall.
I think I will to. I always go the tape route, but it doesn't look as attractive. Hope you feel better soon!!

Those are really cute! Although I can promise you mine would not come out as pretty at those.

I bought my Christmas cards tonight from Shutterfly - I found two coupon codes: free shippingon orders over $30 and 40% off holiday cards. So...my total for 50 cards was only $21! Great deal I think :)

I wish I had an extra $2500 laying around....

Not bad at all. I would wear that kind of tie dye. I'm going to try it, looks like less spray is better.

Oh my gosh, so do I !

venting for a sec while at work....why oh why are teenagers such otrocious writers?! The spelling, grammatical, and capitalization errors are too much! My favorite quote of today, "...share all of the same similarities." Oh, really?! ok. I feel better.:surfweb:

LOL, Jen!

Well, my day started out with a backed up toilet and then I got a second big helping of poo. DH got fired today. Ugh. Happy freakin Thanksgiving, huh?

*HUGS* Lisa.

I haven't been on much lately. Keeping good thoughts for those in need of them.

New job is going well. I won't know about the class for a while (possibly not until January). :( They gave me a glimmer of hope that it may not happen until the summer (which would be great).

Hope you all are doing well.

Oh that stinks Lisa, I am sorry

What?! I have made it to.....1,000posts!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Let me celebrate my meager achievment with great rejoicing!

Wow Jen, you must have a lot of friends. $2500 would buy a lot of cards! ;)
(But really, who couldn't use an extra $2500? What would you do with the $$? If you find any extra send some my way, okay?) )

So sorry, Lisa. I've been there and it stinks. Hope things turn around quickly for you.

Another day, another deal....
"Custom gifts always make wonderful Christmas presents. Right now at Paper Coterie you can use code HAPPYBIRTHDAY for $30 off your order. This means you can order a FREE custom calendar, photo book, journal, or cards! Just pay shipping (around $10, depending on what you order)" .. I love deal blogs, don't you?

The tie dye ala sharpie directions are here http://vacationfieldguides.com/2011/make-your-own-tie-dye-mickey-head-shirt/

Eye dropper not spray was used.

I've done bleach spray on a T-shirt, works great! I had a bright pink shirt that had a dot of bleach on it. Made it into a pretty shirt by laying out leaves (tape down if you want more defined edges), sprayed with fine mist of bleach water. Rinse out when you have the desired "look" to stop the bleaching. You could do a cut out Mickey head contact paper, peel and stick to shirt.. spray along edges. Fine mist is the key so it doesn't saturate too quickly.

Hubby tried using a bleach pen to draw, but it's harder to use (gloppy, pours out too fast). Bleach on a Q-tip or paint brush works nicely to "draw" out designs.

Now I can imagine all of you searching through old T shirts to create into a new wearable art. :thumbsup2
