I am soooooooooo sorry to hear about this!Well, turns out I have bigger things to worry about than my birthday weekend. I just found out that I'm losing my job as of 2/22. Apparently, the lawyer I work with just doesn't have enough work right now for me and doesn't anticipate having enough any time soon.
I'm crushed and devastated! It took quite a bit of time to get a job here in CA. We were just now getting caught up with me being unemployed for so long after moving here. My income covers more than half of our take home, so this is a BIG hit for us.
So are you guys buying Park Hopper Tickets for this trip? I am trying to figure out what type of ticket to get and what the best deal is. I think the only days my mom and I will be in the Park will be Sat. and Sun. So do I get a 2-day park hopper or jsut seperate tickets for each day and only do 1 park per day? Also if I want to get an annual pass but that weekend is blacked out can I purchase a park hopper to use and then upgrade to an annual pass on Sunday before I leave?
I'm going to get that buy 3 days get 2 days free hopper ticket deal they have out. I just have to make sure that I activate that ticket on the Thursday. Even if it means walking in one turnstile and out another. (I'm on the first flight out of Toronto on the Thursday so there is lots of time to still get me to the park before it closes at 10pm. rofl)
Hopping is a must for me, even more so in California because the two parks are so close together.

It's the buy a 3 day parkhopper and get 5 days in the park deal. The only thing is the ticket has to be activated by 24 Apr 08 in order for someone to use all of the days. If the person doesn't activate their ticket by the 24th (of April) then it's worthless. HTH

Now that the April schedule is up I was wondering if anyone had wanted to see the Aladdin show? I haven't seen it as of yet and have heard it's a wonderful production.

YAY!!!!I am so looking forward to this trip. I still feel bad about leaving dh with the kids for those days but he said I really need a break. So to help my 'guilty' feelings I'm taking the rest of the week off (after the girls trip) so I can spend time with him and the kids.

I'll watch Alladin! I enjoyed the show. It was packed and we were up in the nosebleed seats when I saw it last. It would be great to see it with the group.
Someone has to be willing to go see the Muppets with me, though! I love that show!

I'll see the Muppets with you.
My family loves the Muppets. I have the DVD box sets of the old Muppet show and before bed, the kids and I always watch 1 or 2 of the episodes. If for some reason it is late and I don't put it on, my DD always asks "aren't we going to watch the Muffets?"
.
Don't ask me whay see calls them the Muffets??
You haven't seen it?? Oh, then it's a must do. It's really a good show. We try to see it every time we go.Now that the April schedule is up I was wondering if anyone had wanted to see the Aladdin show? I haven't seen it as of yet and have heard it's a wonderful production.
