Girls Only Trip, we can't stop!! October 2013 PTR

Congrats on getting the job! Hopefully they will let you take this trip but I understand having to change vacations because of new jobs.

Well two days in and I can honestly say I love my job, I learned the system quickly. All my fellow co workers are great and fun to be around. My patients are on the temperamental side but that's not new. I actually talked with my supervisor and she said that the shorter trip she will just schedule me off those days since I will not have much accrue vacation time but by November I should put a formal request in and get both off.

This is excellent news, I am trying to be on top of the ball so that they will be okay with me being away. If at all I sense that there will be a problem with October I will cancel it.

It sounds like fun ideas. Congratulations on your new job. There are lots of nurses on the DISboards it seems. I am sure if you are up front about your needs they will be willing to give you the time off you want.

So i have actually had a planning party with Ashley. I order a whole bunch of pins so she can start her pin collection.

Pin trading is not for everyone, but it is something that I enjoying doing. I only collect pins and minnie headbands. I enjoy the interactions with the cast members and also finding really cute pins.


I collect mickey mouse pins and christmas pins. I also always buy a pin if we are going to a special event such as MVMCP or Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival.

I can't wait to get my hands on a Food and Wine pin, and a MNSSHP pin, as well as my Tower of Terror commemorative RunDisney Pin.

We actually changed up our plans a lot to take advantage of the short amount of time we have at Disney.

4:00pm Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
1:00am- Arrive back at All Star Sport to sleep

8:30am- Arrive for Animal Kingdom rope drop
Tour Animal Kingdom
11:00am Lunch @ Yak & Yeti
6:00pm- Leave to Wide World of Sports For Packet Pickup
8:00pm- Tour Downtown Disney
9:00pm Dinner @ Rainforest Cafe

October 5, 2013 (Saturday)
6:00am- Leave for Haunted 5K at Wide World of Sports
8:00am- Start 5K
10:00am- Eat Lunch after run
12:00pm Swimming at resort pool
7:00pm- leave for race DHS
10:00pm- Tower of Terror Ten Miler Begins
10:00pm- Disney Villains Hollywood Bash
4:00am- Back All Star Sport sleep

Only so now on to our first full day in Disney.


I really am hoping that the transportation isn't as bad as most people say it is. Thankfully it's just me and Ashley so we should be really quick out the door. This is also a trial run for my Disneymoon. If transportation is a mess or too difficult we will be renting a car.

Now back to our plans for October 4, 2013 Friday

We would like to make it to rope drop at Animal kingdom.

My touring plan for this day will probably consist of
Kilimanjaro safari
Everest expedition single rider if line seems too long
Dinosaur
Primeval whirl
Nemo the musical
Maybe stop by wilderness explorers before lunch

Lunch will be at yak and yeti
I had a chance to look at the menu and everything looks good, I am dying to try those fried wontons everyone raves about.


Then after that we will be hitting up camp Minnie Mickey for some meet and greets
FOTLK
And then possibly Kali rapids depending on how hot it is. This is my fourth time to Animal kingdom and I still haven't done that or gone to rafikis planet watch

I want to also catch the parade if possible

After touring AK. We need to head to WWOS to grab our racing packets bibs and shirts.
I also want to shop around for RunDisney items.

After this we are heading to downtown disney for dinner and so that Ashley can take in the sights.
We have reservations at rainforest cafe as Ashley requested it.

I loved the nachos at RFC, it has something for everyone and the prices are okay not too expensive.

After that we are heading back to ***

We have a 5k in the morning!
