Just stopping in real quick to check in. For all those who remember my DH was in jail, he got released early (originally wasn't supposed to be out until April) so we've been trying to figure what to do from here :confused3.

I'm so sad that you're not going Beth :sad1:. If I had a ton of money, I'd totally send it to you, because you are a great person to be around.

Oh, and I will get those PM's out about the Meet & Greet money tonight or tomorrow morning. I haven't forgotten, I've just been a little preoccupied.

Hope everyone is well &:hug: to everyone! I'm really needing this trip.

What?! I love Mullholland Madness! :thumbsup2 and the gondolas!

I love MM too! We'll have to ride it together, Cristabel. My mom won't go on it with me.
The gondolas? Not so much.

I am scared of heights too, but I still love Dumbo. :goodvibes
Usually the wait for Dumbo is the scariest part of that ride for me.
So true!

Hey everyone. :wave2:

I'll ride anything except Maliboomer.....well, and TOT, unless I've had that Super Big Gulp size margerita first, and even then, I guarantee it will still be a BIG "maybe". :scared1:

Feeling out of sorts. Had another dream that I was pregnant and in labor again, except this time I was in the hospital while in labor. But the bad part was that mom was being mean to me, poking me with this metal pin to see if my labor was painful enough that I wouldn't feel the poking. Wacky I tell ya! :dance3:

I'm supposed to go to a memorial service today for an old neighbor of ours from back in the day when I was a kid. I really don't want to go though. I'm going to be there by myself to represent my family (meaning my mom and dad and brother), yet I won't hardly know anyone there except his wife and son. But I must show respect and represent my family, so I must go for at least a little while. Maybe it won't be so bad.

Hope everyone down in California/Nevada/Arizona is staying safe from the horrible weather. Actually I love storms.....wind, thunder, lightning, tornados, everything. So for me it would be exciting. But I know for most, it's kind of scary. Take care everyone. :grouphug:

We are so going on TOT together!
And Capri, sorry about you crazy dreams and having to go to the services.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! :wave2:
Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

:happytv:

Snow day!

Woo-hoo!

Katie, I hope everything works out the way you want.

I am thrilled to report that Marty is finally on the mend and able to do some normal activities, like showering, driving, making his own damn eggs! Did I sound bitter? Sorry. I really am happy that he is no longer in the extreme pain he was dealing with. Back issues are the pitts!

:happytv:

Snow day!

I want a snow day!!!

Katie~ hang in there.

I am glad I am not the only one who is annoyed by loud breathers!

Well I got off early to study for my test. Just waiting for the cornbread to finish cooking. I made stew in my crock pot this morning. yummo!
I hope everyone is having a good evening!

I really do try to do all the Disney rides, but there are some in DCA that I will not do: Maliboomer, Screamin, Mulholland (tried it once :sad2:) Gondolas of Death. I have done TOT a few time at DCA and at WDW, don't like it so I am not doing it anymore. Soarin makes me nervous (I hold on for my life and keep my eyes closed a lot of the time) but I do it every time. I will do Teacups if someone drags me on it. Don't especially care for Dumbo and haven't had a reason to go on it since Bryan was little. No point taking up valuable space in line. I have been to the parks enough now that I don't feel like I "have" to do everything. Didn't do Peter Pan last time and I need a strategy for this trip.

So are we agreed that if any of us wins the lottery, we will bring the whole group on a trip?

 for all those who need it!

It's snowing again and it's sticking! :yay:

Maybe I'll get stuck at home tomorrow...;) :rotfl:

I would take snow over rain any day! I keep slipping when I come in the house because the whole middle floor (tri-level house) is tile!

I love MM too! We'll have to ride it together, Cristabel. My mom won't go on it with me.
The gondolas? Not so much.

Yay, someone to ride with!

Does anyone like the gondolas?! I don't get it, you will all go on Screamin' or TOT but not a lil' Ferris wheel?

I'll do the Ferris Wheel! But only once!! :scared1:

I've never done the swinging gondolas but I'll try it, I guarantee I'll scream though!

I am going to have to look these rides up and see what they are, lol. Ya'll know I'm an old woman and it wouldn't be good for me to have a heart attack on my first visit. :rotfl2:

I don't even like the swinging gondolas. They're super freaking scary. But I LOVE TOT!! Weee!!

Katie, big hugsies to you!

Tina, glad your DH is feeling betta!

Ew, tomorrow is only Thursday. YUCK.

OK - I :love:LOVE  the swinging gondolas!!
I will ride anything BUT ToT or Mailiboomer. I don't do free falls!:scared1: - and yes I've been on them both before. Actually been on ToT many times before my older kids were old enough to ride alone. I hated every minute of it.:sad2:

I don't particularly like Molholland Madness, but I'll ride it. Love Screamin' but can't even ride twice in a row w/out feeling sick.

Hope everyone is having a great Wenesday! Been stormy here all day. Lots and lots of rain!! Looking forward to another AI tonight! :happytv:

Hi back atcha, chickie :wave2:

Good to hear Marty is on the mend - that's definitely no fun!

I want a snow day!!!

I hope everyone is having a good evening!

Not me - no snow days for me, por favore :sad2: I love cornbread :upsidedow

So are we agreed that if any of us wins the lottery, we will bring the whole group on a trip?

Poop - I guess I should start buying tickets in that case ;)

I would take snow over rain any day

Not me - give me rain any time. Snow, not so much :sad2:

I've never done the swinging gondolas but I'll try it, I guarantee I'll scream though!

Yuck - we did them once. Not only was the swinging making me ill, looking down, WAAAAAAAY down over the water, we were stuck with a couple who were totally making out right there on the bench across from us :scared1: So not what we wanted to be viewing..........

I am going to have to look these rides up and see what they are, lol. Ya'll know I'm an old woman and it wouldn't be good for me to have a heart attack on my first visit. :rotfl2:

:lmao: You'll have an awesome time, Shirley!!

So are we agreed that if any of us wins the lottery, we will bring the whole group on a trip?
If I win the lotto, I'm brining you all here to Vegas!! We'll rent out a bunch of suites, shop, eat, drink and party on!!

Yes, they are! I'm glad he's healing. For his sake, and yours! ;)

I like the swinging gondolas. I think they're fun! Wouldn't want to be in one during an earthquake or anything, but during normal operational conditions....fun. :thumbsup2

I would NEVER go on Maliboomer. I don't care how many margeritas I've had. Not gonna happen. :rotfl:

TOT - I've been on the one at WDW once, and it scared the crud out of me. But you know.....if I'm feelin' it, maybe I'll give it another try. That is "IF" I'm feeling it. For those of you who volunteered to hold my hand on the TOT (Melody, Stacie, Tina, and I know there are others), I will take you up on that offer! I gotta be feeling it though. Feeling the TOT vibe. Just sayin'. :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

Screamin' or Mulholland Madness - No problem. I'll ride those anytime. :yay:

I'll ride anything at Disneyland. Actually.....Splash - okay, I'll admit that drop scares me.....but I love the rest of the ride, so that's why I go on it. :goodvibes

Linda - I have NO idea why I keep having those darn "pregnant" and "labor" dreams. I don't want to have any more babies, so that can't be it. Must be something else. I wish I could figure it out though because they're freakin' me out - LOL.

Debra - sorry about the annoying chatty-chewing-breather.

Its a good thing I have such good self esteem. A while back ago I was drinking and made a bet with James. If he won, he got a wish. Simple right? I thought for sure he would want some special tv watching time. Well, he just let me know that he wants his prize. So you want to know what he wants as his wish????......he wants me to make cobbler. And that's not code for anything. Yep, dinged my ego a bit. But I will live.

Like Sarah (motoX) said some of those are in California Adventure. And like Sarah (sahbushka) said, you will be a pro before long. Sarah is an excellent guide. Make sure she takes you on Grizzly Rapids. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Sounds like a great idea!;);)

Okay since I don't like falling I have a feeling the first one is going to be a no no for me. :scared1:

Dumbo I can handle.

First you and Sarah get me on Splash Mountain and I live to tell the story and now you are trying to get me on something called Grizzly Rapids (better be bears standing around the rapids trying to catch salmon is all I can say), I think I better get on medication before I come. :lmao:

He He He, you are going to have a great time! He He He!

A big HI to Sarah & Sarah!

Hi!

I am going to have to look these rides up and see what they are, lol. Ya'll know I'm an old woman and it wouldn't be good for me to have a heart attack on my first visit. :rotfl2:

You probably shouldn't look them up first...it will ruin the fun surprise! Oh and don't worry...I know CPR! He He He!

Sarah

That scares the beejebers out of me!

I would NEVER go on Maliboomer. I don't care how many margeritas I've had. Not gonna happen. :rotfl:

never been on it, don't plan on it!

Jordan had me ride with him 10 times in one day at WDW...he rode it more than that!

Screamin' or Mulholland Madness - No problem. I'll ride those anytime. :yay:
Screamin....no thanks!

I'll ride anything at Disneyland. Actually.....Splash - okay, I'll admit that drop scares me.....but I love the rest of the ride, so that's why I go on it. :goodvibes

Me too!!!

Thanks, she was sooo ANNOYING!!!!!!!!
