Can't believe I am up this early on a Saturday.

James and I will be heading out to the Farmer's Market. I am making homemae Veggie soup for dinner tonight. Will kick back most of the day watching football and movies after we run some errands.

Now I need to read back.

I go back to school on the 25th and I'm excited. It was bit tough transitioning out of my own house and from community college to university but now I'm ready and looking forward to a productive and successful semester. I really like my schedule, too. Amy, we need to get together sometime! I KNOW I'll see you in February but we gotta hang out more often!

Glad you will be back in school soon. And with my new work hours, we can meet up at DLR more.

Thank you so much for my birthday wishes, they really made my day!

I had a super amazing b-day. My family really spoiled me and I feel so guilty about it!

Yesterday was interesting to say the least. Had to work and it was busy busy. I got SOME of the taxes turned in to the CPA so she can at least get the 1099's and W2's issued before the end of the month. I still have more to finish for the corp stuff to be done but at least the people can get THEIR paperwork on time. Then mom and I ran to Verizon as she is thinking about getting the same phone Shane and I have. She HATES her sprint phone.

Then last night we took the girls to the dollar movies and saw 2012 and I really liked it. I like those kinds of movies and this one actually had a somewhat happy ending so it was good. Couples retreat is playing there and Planet 51 so I would like to see them as well! Don't know if we will make it back though before they leave. It is nice that we have the cheapie theaters though as a nice alternative.

We are about to head out to basketball here in a bit and then back home to relax and then out to soccer at 2. Nothing planned for tonight except just kicking back and then tomorrow after church it is shopping time. The girls are going to use their gift certs and I hope to get my wii fit and maybe look for my black shirt FINALLY!

Shane is not working AGAIN on Monday which really sucks but oh well. Hopefully we will do something fun at least.

Hello to everyone !

I had an impromptu visit to Disneyland yesterday morning (just me and the baby). Since I had a stressful day on Thursday, I woke up feeling like relaxing away from the house for a little bit. I went online & saw that Small World was still open so I decided to take the baby for a little bit. It was nice! Here are a couple pics from our day. She finally got to meet Pooh:

We had a pretty lazy evening. We are trying to watch repeats of Bones on TV, but they are all out of order so is a little confusing at times.

Beth - Seems like you may be feeling a bit better. Glad your daughter helped out. She sounds like a blessing.

I made a name list off the front roomie page and then cross referenced between the meal lists. Of the 47 possible names I have on the list, I have 26 numbers. So far all can receive text messages. Though some have given caveats to how fast or well versed they are at sending text messages.

Not much going on here today. I just signed up most of my family for the Disney volunteer program so we'll have a head start on our tickets for WDW in July.

We like Bones, too. She is such a pretty woman and a good actress to carry off her persona. At the end of the show last night we were like "kiss her already!" and of course all those people came into the room. Some of the charred remains are a bit gruesome though.

Beth, take it easy. I hope you are feeling great tomorrow and have a nice visit with Vicki and Donna. I love those two women!

Katie, those pics are darling. It's a good thing you went yesterday. They say we are going to have a full week of non-stop rain storms starting tomorrow. I know we need the rain, but for six days straight? I am not looking forward to driving to work next week, that's for sure.

Breezy got our shirts and hoodies at Old Navy last night. She is bringing them home for me to wash today. Then I am sending them to Trudi who graciously offered to do our transfers. Thanks, Trudi!

I can take Jazz Kitchen. I believe that the reservation is made, so not sure what I need to do from here. Should I change the ressie to my name or just say I am Theresa?

I wasn't going to do the pillowcase exchange because it sounded like everyone was decorating theirs (I am so not good at that) and putting in such cool stuff, but after reading the posts about it I had a good idea about making one and found some awesome fabric (no additional blinging required) so now I am excited about it and have started collecting things to include. I am way out of practice at sewing; the last thing I actually made was an Easter dress for DD about 20 years ago, then my sewing machine kept needing to be fixed so I got rid of it. A couple of years ago I asked for and got a little Shark machine for Christmas and finally got it out a few months ago to take in the seams of a dress to wear for Halloween, so I think I am up for a hem and a couple of seams. It's just a pillowcase, right? The pillow won't care if the seams aren't exactly straight....

Oh, I remember! I got our white shirts and black sweatshirts at Old Navy yesterday. Short sleave v-necks are $8, and I got a mans black zip hoodie for $12. I was very happy with the prices!

I never saw any post regarding printing the name tags. She just asked if anyone who needed a new lanyard and/or new name tag to send her a PM.
