Afternoon ladies!

Beth I am so sorry you got the creeping crud! I hope by now you are feeling a bit better.

Capri that dream, well that is just WEIRD and scary! Sorry you are feeling down. I know the feeling. With ALL the crapola going on in my life I have been feeling pretty down myself. I have REALLY tried to get motivated about losing weight but with working out and watching what I have been eating I went UP instead of down and that just killed it for me. I KNOW better and know that sometimes happens at first but THAT on top of all the other crap just kind of killed it for me. I have SO much on my mind right now that I have just NOT gotten back to it. I have some money that I got for my birthday last year so when we take Katy shopping this weekend I am going to hopefully get the Wii fit plus and I am hoping something "new" will get me motivated. I still plan to do my other tapes but I want something new and different to perk me up a bit.

I have also really been wanting to see 2012 and we missed it in the reg theaters but it came out today at the dollar theaters and we can afford THAT at least so we are going to go there tonight as a kick off to the weekend. That plus the fact that the girls have gift cards and can actually buy stuff and it doesn't cost any money and I can spend my birthday money without feeling guilty will hopefully perk us all up a bit!

Cheryl that stinks about AF! I take meds to prevent mine but I still have to let her show up a few times a year and I HATE it. I am pretty much guaranteed the accompanying migraine which is the reason I take the pills to stop them in the FIRST place and so on TOP of having to have it I am usually pretty miserable and sick at the same time. I just wish I could get a hysto and be done with it but I have yet to find a doc that will go along with it. I hope that yours decides to leave for good and leave you alone!

Courtney I LOVE that makeup kit. I don't usually wear much makeup cuz my eyes are really sensitive but that is really cute! Have fun with it!

I am off to pick up the girls here in a minute and then as I said we are going to the movie tonight so I am excited about that.

Ahhhhhhhh, my house is haunted!!!

I'm home alone, and I was in my bathroom doing my hair, looking in the mirror. As I'm standing facing the mirror and vanity, right behind me is my closet door, so I can see the reflection of my closet door in the mirror when I'm putting on makeup or doing my hair or whatever. Well today, as I was doing my hair, I look in the mirror and see my closet door open all by itself. And I don't mean it just barely cracked open. I mean it OPENED, right behind me, as if something was pushing it open. I'm freaked out!

I'm in a bummed out mood today.

First, Theresa isn't coming.....and now maybe Jane too.

Then, Bethy is sick.

I think my stye is coming back, which would be HORRIBLE!

I haven't lost any weight.

I am totally getting burned out on school. I just don't want to do all the massive amount of work anymore, and everyday I have to force myself to get the work done. I keep looking at the big picture, and I know it won't last forever, but man......burnout is tough.

And, I had a horrible dream last night that I was pregnant again!.....and my OB/GYN was Jimmy Fallon......and suddenly while walking through town I felt all this pressure, so I had to make an emergency stop at this bar where the baby was born while I was sitting on the toilet in a nastiest dirtiest pee-encrusted bathroom EVER.....and it was another BOY.

That's the scariest dream ever!
And chin up about all the school work, girl. You are making a change for yourself and your family, and I'm totally proud of you! It's a lot of work, but it will be so worth it in the end!

Hi girlies! Quick check-in: Beth I hope you feel better soon, Wendy glad you had a good birthday and Capri sorry about the nightmare. As for me, after being away for several months Aunt Flo decided to make a return visit!! I can just never tell when that old biddy is going to show up these days.

Tina: have you ever attended a filming of one of those Food Network challenges? I was watching one the other day ans caught a glimpse of a woman in the audience who looked just like you!!

Nope. I've never been in the audience for one of those challenges. I enjoy watching them on tv, but I can't imagine watching one in person. Don't most of them last for like 8 hours?

Marty feels better after the chiro visit, and he made an appointment with an acupuncturist for tonight. He goes back to the chiro on Monday, so hopefully he is on the road to recovery.

My house is surely haunted, there are all kinds of noises when I'm alone. One time Diana and I were in the den. Our den has a little indent for an office space. So we were on the computer and we heard the distinct noise of a hand running down the stair railing, which is metal. We were so scared and my chicken older sister sent me to find out what it was. So I went...but not without grabbing a large knife!

Hi everyone! I am still here but I am having a hard time keeping up.

I was in Dallas this week for a company meeting and we had good news. We are actually hiring 74 new people within our newly created division of Sabre. I feel very fortunate.

I did read back a couple of pages:

Beth - I am sorry you are sick. I hope we get to see you this weekend even if it is for a short time.

Thresea - I am sad that you are not coming.

Courtney - Very cool makeup kit! I used to more into makeup but as I get older I find myself going out of the house more and more with no makeup. Yikes!

Callie - Thank you for ordering the lanyards for those of us who do not have one.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend! I am off to Vegas with Donna and Bob and the kids are going to DL to meet his cousin from Seattle.

This morning I was feeling so crappy and sorry for myself after being sick all night. Noelle came in my room and I said something along the lines of how I wanted my mommy. lol
So she says to me, "Don't worry, I'll be your mom for today and take care of you."

And she has! Checking on me every so often. Bringing me water. Washing the dishes and doing some laundry. Also entertaining her sisters. They've all been great and I'm so thankful for that.

Adam had a stye before. Warm compresses are best. And you can get drops for it, but you have to go to the doc. At least we did.

Well Diana finally made it over to the house. We went to food 4 less to buy the rest of our pizza supplies, stopped at Hollywood video to pick up the new Tyler Perry's new movie and Toy Story Mania for the Wii and now we're waiting for the pizza to cook. We're all very hungry!

Angie, I should have explained in case you didn't know, Amysue was posting some funny stuff about her birthday months ago - letting us know weeks in advance about it, and telling us clearly it was all about her! So that was my joke... (later I thought, oh dear, what if she doesn't know about Amysue's joke...)

Had a lovely evening here at home. The pizza was good and we started to watch Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. At 11:30p we sent Anais to bed and watched I can do Bad All By Myself, which is another Tyler Perry hit! Taraji P. Henson is beautiful and can sing!

We played two rounds of Toy Story Midway Mania on the wii and Tyrae just left. Later today we'll definitely be playing more since the house is clean
