Thank you everyone I think I am ready to shop now. I just wasn't getting the one size fits all concept.

I should have gone on Disney.com Donna, I would probably just bought the clearance Heimlich stuffie....and then realized, oops...I got it because I want it.

Okay....I think I am ready.

Money, gum, disney stuff, sanitizer...which I hate, makes my hands break out, maybe some aspirin or alka seltzer for the morning after the meet and greet. I noticed no one wanted a slinky, guess I will take that back.:rotfl:

And I wanted to comment to Cristabel.....you like to find money in your pillow case as it wasn't all that long ago the tooth fairy was still visiting you...you young whippersnapper.

Back to reorganizing my house. We bought a couch today and the matching loveseat. Living on the edge. Now we are just trying to convince the wolfhound and corgi that they don't want to sit on the new furniture, but can on the old couch that for the short term is pushed against the wall.

Peace out,

AmySue

Congrats on the new sofa!

Just a reminder most of us are flying and getting some stuff home can be a bugger (especially with my bottles of magicale:rolleyes1) so that is why I was bringing up more travel size stuff for the exchange.

What a cute combo a wolfhound and corgi. On has to jump on the couch and the other has to just lower himself to the couch.

Hi ladies!

I'm loving all the ideas for the cases. Thanks for the idea suggestion AmySue. Also congrats on the couch! Your dogs sound really cute. No wonder you were such a help to Cheryl when she got Bella. :goodvibes

I like smelly lotions and stuff. I guess we just need to get whatever, and not worry about it. Huh?

I'm leaving Monday morning on the train. Woohoo! Actually I really like taking the train. No worries about traffic, there is time to rest, read, or catch up on whatever. Anyways, no Storytellers for me either. And that will be fine, cuz by the time I have paid for my meal at Napa Rose, this lady is going to be down to the last dollar.

It is truly amazing how a 3 hour drive from So Cal, can make such a difference in the weather. Our high for the last few days has been around 45 degrees. THis is normal for our area, but it it quite cold. And it is a damp cold too! Buurrrr!

Heather, I was thinking about you the other day. How soon do you get to find out what you are having?

Donna, I got an emtpy PM from you this morning. Did you mean to send me something? :rotfl:

Jill, I am an Ugg snob too.:snooty: But I do live in them, and the ones that I have on now, are on their 3rd year. Well worth the cost to me. They will definitely be with me on our ladies trip.

Katie, the short Ultras Uggs, should be good, I would think. You can replace the insoles in that style too. I think they have more support too, than the Classic.

Welcome to our newest team.........The Tortuga Tarts, or Sweet Tarts.

I like smelly lotions & body washes also.

I really wanted to go to Napa Rose, well that was until I looked at the menu and saw the prices :scared1:
Then I was like well....maybe not.........

I am :lovestruc my UGGs!!

Happy Sunday everyone

I just got back from grocery shopping for the upcoming week. I'm cooking all of our dinner meals from the flat belly cookbook while my parents are gone. That ought to prevent my little sister from gaining weight and help me lose it.

I'm starting to schedule out this trip and finally get organized. I won't be able to make my pillowcase until my dad gets home because he's the only one who knows how to sew in our family. He's the family tailor :thumbsup2

I hope Jingles comes out of heat soon, it'll be 3 weeks this Tuesday and I'm tired of finding diaper fluff around the house!

Exactly! I'm going to be ordering soup, dessert and Magicale like Callie! Or maybe I'll find some poor soul to share with.

That is funny about Jingles! Well maybe not funny for you. :headache:And good for your Dad! I'm not even sure if Dave could sew on a button!

Yep I did them all by myself. Both kids were at the wrestling match doing community service hours. Still need to do the votive candle holders and just put ribbon on everything.

Got my pillowcase in hand and I am going to do that tomorrow. One project a day is my goal until Katie's party.

I am impressed! :worship:

My flight leaves Sunday at 4:00pm from SNA, and I think Becci's flight (on Sunday) leaves at 4:25pm.

Yep! Like Capri said I leave at 4:25 from SNA. :thumbsup2

Well we just got back from Ikea. It was crowded! And our 4 yo was not behaving. :sad2: We have had some major behavioral problems with him as of late.:confused3 He was a very late talker and now he talks back all the time!! If he doesn't like what he is asked to do he says "no" and/or "stop talking to me" or "get away from me". Apparently he is a little angel in preschool and Sunday school, but not at home.:sad2:
I have started being much more strict with him but it is hard when my dh doesn't back me up. He is all into idle threats (like "if you don't stop doing that I'm going to cancel your birthday party!" which he said over and over last week and it didn't work and the party wasn't canceled.:rolleyes1)
Today when he was acting up in Ikea I took him to the car, kicking and screaming. He also didn't get the ice cream he wanted to have. Oh well.

But the good news is that tomorrow is Monday. Yay for school!!:woohoo:

Isn't that considered blasphemy based on where you live right now???

Nah...we used to have season tickets back when the Saints weren't cool. :cool2: DH has waited his entire life for this season. He deserves a super bowl win for the team he's loved since childhood. (We moved to Tucson 2.5 years ago from Mobile Alabama.) I grew up in Steelers country. I know what winning is like....he's still soaking it up. Also, New Orleans deserves something good to happen for them. After Katrina, I'd say it's almost unpatriotic NOT to root for the Saints! ;) :rolleyes1

That being said, Kurt Warner was a BIG reason I won fantasy football this year. Plus he's easy on the eyes...princess:

Good point. You convinced me.

:)

Just to explain, it isn't just that I don't like smelly lotions, I can't tolerate them. Most scents have a chemical in them that gives me a headache. If it's a 100 percent natural scent or oil, I'm fine. But my worst nightmare is having some woman sit next to me at the theater or in a car and she's splashed on a lot of cologne. Instant headache followed by dizziness.

Most people don't do this, of course. My mother taught me that you should dab cologne so that it can only be smelled by someone who's kissing you. ;)

I can handle some scents without a headache, but many will give me th e instant queasies.

But, you see the problem and crisis I was having picky goodies for an unknown receipient. Too much individual variation. Donna doesn't do scents, hand sanitizers itch out my hands, some are dieting, I can't do chocolate or wine,
some people love country music, others feel their eardrums bleed with the first twang.....arrrrrgggggghhhhhh, the pressure.

I actually went with a nice something that if whoever gets it, thinks--oh, this is ever so not me, they can smile sweetly and thank me while plotting to regift the item at the earliest opportunity.

It will be swell, it is the thought that counts....and it is all good.

Besides, who doesn't LOVE a slinky???

What is the amount we are supposed to be spending?

I don't want to go to work tomorrow, anyone else? Discuss.
