Hello Vanessa, and welcome. Most of us stay at the Hojo, some drive in, and a few this trip I think are going all swanky and staying onsite. There is no requirement.

The cost of the trip is totally up to you, where you stay, what you sign up to do, etc.

I drive up from San Diego, and do one or two meals, haven't done the tours, and spend about 350, your results will vary!!

AmySue

Hi Vanessa and welcome. Like Amy Sue stated, the price of the trip depends on what you plan to do and where you stay. Most of us stay at the Hojo. I am local, but I still stay at the Hojo with everyone, I do some of the meals and I have done some tours. It doesn't cost me much since I have an AP and don't have to worry about travel costs. The price depends on what you do and eat. At group meals we all pay our own share and the same goes for tours. All the information is on the first page.

Thanks Stacerita!! :goodvibes We are looking forward to meeting all of you! After reading the first page I think we have an idea of what we want to do. The Scavenger Hut and Meet and Greet is going to be fun and we cant wait to hang out will all of you in the park. :yay:

Beth~ Went into the bathroom for lotion....she was gonna do some TV watching popcorn:: She only wants us to think that she fell on water...:rolleyes1
Sshhhh! Don't tell.

That sucks about the fundraiser. Seems like she should have just left well enough alone and went with what was proven to work.

Hey ladies, we're here at the Hojo about to go get dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. We're in building 2 and it's very quiet!
Glad you are having fun. I love CPK!!

Beth--I hope your boo-boo is better!
It is, thanks. Good thing I have a lot of padding.

Oh.... puttin' on the lotion... I remember how that goes :rolleyes1
:rotfl2: Me too.

I was thinkin...maybe I could catch a ride out to Anaheim with the Vegas gals, and then I could get a rental car back on Friday. So, I looked, and I can get a rental car back for $27.00!
Tracey, that would be great. Quick, but nice. PM Amy as she is the one driving us, and see what she says.

I'm determined to come! I need this trip with my girlfriends!.....And so it will be done says I. pixiedust:
:thumbsup2

Hi Dis Divas! I was browsing around Dis boards and found your thread. What a wonderful get together you ladies are having next year. My best friend and I are AP holders and thought your trip would be so much fun. We were both wondering what the price of your trip is and if you have to stay at the Hotel?

Lots of Disney Love,
Vanessa
:dance3:
Hi Vanessa,
As Amy said, it depends on what you do, where you stay, how long you stay, etc.
This isn't like a tour group where you have to do this or that. Check out the info on the front page, see what interests you and sign up for that. If you have more questions, please feel free to PM me.

Well, I may not have started my Christmas cards yet, but I bought a killer pillow case off of Ebay for our slumber party pillow case exchange.
Cool. I have no clue what to do for that yet. I've been keeping my eye out though. :thumbsup2

Amy Sue - Where is your WDW trip report????

I actually took some notes about all we did. It was a great trip. Seriously low attendence. We went to HS one day and got on TSM 3 times in 45 minutes!!! Very fun. A few setbacks...my knee kind of sucked so I limped a lot...and was a bit pathetic at times and my DH hurt his neck two days before we left, so he was in a lot of pain at times...but boyo did we have fun.

The DH suggests we go somewhere else next year. What is that about?
I can't do a trip report as I am genetically unable to post photos on the Disboards. It's true, the inability is stamped into my DNA. You can't fight nature.

Amy Sue

Oh, and I would like to assure everyone......even though I bought it on Ebay, the pillow case in new.

Good to know, but I have already written it down so I won't forget. [
(avoid the package from Capri...ebay...supposedly smoke free, cat free house...."new")
LOve ya!! And, J/K.

what Cristabel is really asking, are you some creepy internet stalking man?

Sorry, long term joke on this thread. It's just we all took a leap of faith the first year. I signed up and roomed with 4 strangers met the day we "slept" together. Luckily none of us turned out to be creepy internet predators.

At least the first year..........:)

Me too. :sad2: It just won't be the same without you though, so I hope some miracle happens and you are able to make it.

You asked for a miracle, and wha La! What power you have! I am PMing Amy as soon as I am done.

Also, I wasn't going to mention this here, but it's been eating at me. If I have ever offended anyone here, I apologize. I received a PM that was really upsetting and sounds like some may have been offended by comments I made about CHris being out of work and such. Please know that was never my intent and I'm sorry if anyone was offended by anything I said.

Oh don't bother to pay any attention to someone that woiuld PM you and then be gone. NOTHING you have said has been offensive.

Ok here is my little vent for the day. Our old PTO president is no longer at our school (her kids are all in middle school now :snooty: ) so our new PTO president decided to change our yearly and most profitable fundraiser. We use to sell chocolate, $5 a box and we made 1/2 of that in profit. Well this year she decided to do this Reindeer Lane gift store :sad2: its a bust. However, the kids are really loving the fact that mom, dad, grandma, grandpa or whomever has given them money to buy presents. The only problem is the items are dollar store quality for crazy prices. We only make 20% of our total sales. That is not even going to be close to the $5600 we made on candy last year. The other thing is I can only imagine the looks on parents faces Christmas morning when the family is opening these presents and they are like we spent HOW MUCH on these things????? :scared1:

So I spent the day 9 AM- 3PM (I was suppose to leave at 12 but the president suddenly had a change in plans) wrapping these gifts. The entire time I kept thinking, it may be better if I just give Kaeleb $20 and left him run amuck in the dollar store.

Ok enough of that.
I hope everyone is having a great evening. I am off to study.

I hate those crapola Xmas fair things. I won't even give my kids any money for presents. If they want to buy something for themselves, that is fine.

Hey ladies, we're here at the Hojo about to go get dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. We're in building 2 and it's very quiet!

We went to DL for a couple hours and there was no lines for anything, it was fantastic. The longest wait time was 40 minutes for Autopia, everything after that was 20 minutes for Nemo.

I just skimmed through the pages a bit and wanted to give Callie hugs for her loss, ask Beth if her booty is okay from falling (ouch!), tell Janelle she never offended me, and that those Zhu Zhu pets are crazy looking.

I heart you girls and will try to write manana!

Oh, have fun Courtney!

I, for one, just hate all the wink wink nudge nudge stuff. Why? Because, I never get it. I am the awkward one with the bemused expression laughing because everyone else is, but not getting it. I haven't seen a lot of Seinfeld episodes, so missed this one. What am I missing? I suck at Suduko too!!!:dance3:

AmySue

That is me too! What is fun about Suduko??

I love to collect Disney stuff. I have two pugs, Cash and Gabriel. I work at Macy's and absolutely hate it but Ive been there for 4 years so I cant complain too much.

Welcome Vanessa! :cheer2::yay::cheer2:

Wow, it sounds like you have a lot going for you. What a fun time in your life! I'm going to college too, getting my Masters in Elementary Education, and a few of the other girls also go to college. :thumbsup2

I've been trying to keep up with everyone but wow, a lot of stuff going on! I have been too lazy to post but thought I would just say hi! I have been super busy at work trying to get caught up before I take some time off - couple of days vacation plus a week of mandatory unpaid furlough. I love the way I have to work twice as hard to get my work done so I can take unpaid time off...:confused3 There is no one else to do my job while I am gone so it will all be waiting for me when I get back. At least I will get to spend a few days at Disneyland with the Christmas decorations and parade.

Glad to hear more ladies are getting airfare and making definite plans to go in February! :cool1:

Linda - what Verizon phone do you have? I have a couple of old chargers.

Sarah - new clippie! :yay:

Please tell me this isn't your idea for the roomie gift this trip. :scared1:
Well, Stacie. I am making star ornament costumes for my DD's Christmas musical. But it appears I over bought my gold lame.....so...all things are possible. Maybe we could ditch the slumber party theme and change to a Welcome to the 60's!!!!

Well see......now you've just planted the seed. No good can come of this. :goodvibes

Capri, my dear, don't think that you are safe just 'cause you aren't my roomie!!!
Lol!! That is definitely a leap of faith.

Vanessa, we have all ages. You may be officially the youngest, but only because Cristabel just turned 21.

I am one of the oldies, but I don't act it!!
