So, if you are planning to attend the DIS Divas 6th Annual Disneyland Trip, please post and let me know. Also, if you know exactly which days you will be there, let me know that as well. Thanks!!

I will be there Wednesday (tentatively) thru Sunday, rooming at HoJo with Tracey!

Gotta love that it's June 25th (half way to Christmas- eek!), I have all the doors and windows open, it's after noon and my thermostat says it's 70 degrees in the house. Aaaaaaahhhhh! Lovin' it, cuz I know it won't last long! LOL

And now I'm off to the grocery store (again?!), gas station and dry cleaner. Oh, and WalMart. There is something "bad" about the tube of toothpaste I bought. The color is off and it smells odd. Back that goes. Had no idea toothpaste could be "bad" but this tube sure is. Yuck.

TTFN!

Like I said, I failed them! :rolleyes1 lol

Anyone who likes tie dye is A-OK in my books :thumbsup2 It's those shifty peeps who seem to be afraid of it you need to worry about :rolleyes1

Heheheh... I'll teach you how to change a tire and remodel your kitchen for under $100.

Question - would this involve getting your hands dirty and/or the possibility of breaking a nail or breaking a sweat :confused3

I think the t-shirt schedule looks great. I have tons of gray shirts so now I just have to decide if I want to buy a new one or use one I already have??? Still plenty of time to think about it.

Um, get a new one of course :upsidedow And congrats on the lovie - you definitely deserve a good man!!!

Just pace yourself on the TV watching :happytv:

Ditto! It's usually really hot by now, but I haven't run my cooler for several days, my thermostat says it's 73 in the house. Lovin' it!

18 replies already and so far, other than 2 or 3, everyone is coming in on Wednesday!
That's great. For awhile it was sounding like people were having a hard time making it that day, but so far it's looking good! :cool1:

I also added the tee shirt info to the front page, same post as the schedule, so if anyone forgets what's what, it's there.

While I am updating, if anyone has yet to get their photo on the front page (that wants it there, of course) let me know, so I can add one of you.

Wow, was it a tv marathon? :happytv:

Wow who knew you ladies had such dirty minds...oh wait I did .

For your information, we haven't started watching TV yet. We've made it past 2nd base, but not home yet ;). I think I'm loosing weight because we've been very active (in other ways). We hike, go shooting, play bocce ball, play Kinect (which believe it or not can be a workout) and swim more than I thought I'd ever swim in my life. I'm not a huge water person but I've learn to love it with him and the kids.

Believe me a few of you ladies will know once it happens. All I'm saying is my birthday is coming up and he has planned a getaway for just us so who knows.....

I can't remember anything else I was going to mention, but I just wanted to make a PSA. Katie is totally in love . It just seems too good to be true and I'm waiting for things to crash and burn :upsidedow but I'm enjoying it while it's good. Seriously though, we are way compatible and have the best time together. My kids love him, his kids love me, my ex hates him, his ex hates me, so it's a good balance .
Love the good balance! :rotfl: Don't even think about anything but each day.
I didn't know they moved Billy and the Hillbillies. Although, thinking about it, maybe I'll actually get to see them now - haha. :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

It was nice because a lot of characters were there during and after the show. Very short lines for pics and the characters seemed to let loose a bit more than usual. A live horse was brought out for a while and a miniture horse walked through. It was all very casual They even had lasso lessons.

There's a Toby Keiths here in Vegas at Harrahs. I can't believe the wait was 3 hours where you went! Here, it's never been busy when I've seen it. I haven't eaten there yet, but I really want to...mainly so I can drink from those mason jars! :thumbsup2 Sounds like you had a great time out with your friend!

And yay for 12 more days!!! :yay:

Well it was opening day so ya, 3 hours is pretty normal around here for that. LOL You may have to get a beer to drink from a mason jar ya know. LOL

lasso lessons?? Very cool!!! :)

I took Cass for her permit test again, she PASSED!!!! YAY! She was so excited! LOL :)

OKay girls, you heard her. Instead of Storm Watch, we are on Katie Watch. Or Katie Watching TV Watch. I've got the popcorn. popcorn:: Who's bringing the drinks?

You'll be in great shape for your birthday getaway. Endurance and strength is always good. Or at least that's what I read. ;)

Awwwwww, he sounds like a great guy! Did he tell you where he's taking you, or is it a surprise?

Sounds like so much fun!

Thanks for all the kind comments on my son everyone! :goodvibes

I know it's early yet, but I like that we are planning already. I guess it's just helping me get excited. I am really looking forward to this trip. I just really hope I start getting some extra money in so that I can start saving for my flight. That is the expensive part for me.

Now that I am working at Michaels, I am getting ideas for shirts! I think I might try my hand at the tie dye and see what I can do. Maybe incorporate Stitch in there if I can. :)

Yay for her! Third times the charm :).

:thumbsup2 I'll bring the drinks! I'm sure I'll be drinking plenty that night.

It's a surprise! I think he's also planning a surprise birthday party because my sister slipped a little and then tried to take it back :confused3. If so, I'll just acted surprised ;).

Luckily, once people get to know me, they see that's not true, and in fact, they find I almost never shut up. :rotfl:
:rotfl:

I'm shy too. :rolleyes1 ;)
:lmao:

My kids love him, his kids love me, my ex hates him, his ex hates me, so it's a good balance .
:thumbsup2

I could be way off base, but shouldn't I err on the side of caution? :confused3
Yes.

Hope everyone is doing well--as Linda said we had a good time at DCA this past weekend--I meandered through Carsland and looked in a couple of shops but it was late in the afternoon and I didn't even attempt any rides. I don't get the hatin' on Luigi's Flying Tires. I thought it was really fun---and the people who rode it (I watched for about 15 minutes) were having a BLAST! I also loved Tow-Mater's when I rode it. It's hard to describe what it's like--it seems so simple but it is SO.MUCH.FUN. Don't get me wrong--they are nowhere as good as Racers, but I think are great rides on their own--just like if the TeaCups were built now people would probably think they were "filler" too . . . . . .

That's good to hear! There was a thread here on the DIS where people were saying it wasn't very good. :confused3 Is it hard to get going like they were saying?
I'll still be riding it come October! I can't wait. :cool1:

Oh, and the Tea Cups are a filler. :rolleyes1

I'm just saying that because I hate that ride. Makes me wanna

:teeth:

I saw my roommate (miracle of miracles?) and she complained about waiting for that ride.

I told her:
Dude, I'd just be happy to be there.
YOU decided to go opening weekend, so you should have realized the lines would be long.
