I think it's juist fine to celebrate at DL even if it is in advance.

I do want to caution you on the Plaza thing with Pat E Cake or whatever. I read a thread not to long ago about it and heared some not so good things. Some disappointed parents I guess. There were comments about the cake being yuck, and not having enough time, and there being lots of people. Some others said they liked it though. I don't think $15 is too bad to go ahead and try it anyway. And I've never done it myself, so what do I know??

I do hope your girls have lots of fun and get lots of "happy birthday"s!

I've heard some mixed reviews too. I went ahead and booked it, but for the 3 of us to go (myself, and the twins) it would be almost $50 so I'm not sure I want to spend that on just a so-so experience and some yucky cake. LOL

I have time to think it over I guess.

Good luck on your upcoming move. We moved here to Vegas last summer from MI, and I know what a hassle moving can be.
Good luck on going back to school too! That's great.

I just got home from DL and I was surprised that I ran into some DIS girls there. I first saw Cheryl and she told me everyone was going to see the new Indy show at 1030. So I went over there and saw Mary Jo, Chris and Molly along with Cheryl. It was a nice treat to see some of the ladies. I'll post some pics later.

Just to let you all know I heard from Lorealle today. She hasn't forgotten us and is still working with Willie and her GM to figure out what will work out best for us and our trip.
She said she would have some information for us sometime in the next day or two.

Busier than I've seen it so far! But I've only traveled in late Sept, early Oct, early Dec, and late January, so my opinion of a crowd might not be the one we'll be trustin'!

Thanks everyone! I had a great birthday. Spent time at DL and spent time with the family. So it was all good.

And it was pretty crowded there today. We left before noon, and the line to check your bags was all the way back to the trams. We were glad we were leaving.

Did you get the Happy B-day button at City Hall? My last two birthdays were spent at DL. I love when complete strangers wish me Happy Birthday!!!

My DD and I were there for the AM on Friday and with the rain and all, I expected less people. It wasn't crazy or anything, but it WAS raining a bit. We only lasted until about 1 as my DD seemed perky as all git out at home, dragging at the park. Always answering "I'm fine" when asked. Then I hugged her and kissed her forehead...burning up.. I AM a bad mom, dragging my kid with a fever all over DL.

She is better now!!!

Sorry that your DD wasn't feeling well. And trust me, you aren't the only bad mom who's taken their child to DL and they got sick while there. For DD's birthday trip I took her and her cousins. During the day she got real quiet and seemed bothered. I asked her what was wrong, and she said her ear was hurting. I felt her and sure enough, she was burning up. She was pretty sick for a while. Poor thing didn't want to tell anyone she was sick because she didn't want to ruin their good time.

Oh, really now!!! My chest is rarely stared at so when I do wear a shirt with words, I find the attention to my chest ever so disconcerting!!!!

Funny on the trip, my Martini "D's" were not quite as, um, er.. impressive as others, so I found strangers would stare at me as my shirt was more billboard-like in order to read our matching shirts.... The flatness (relative) made the reading go more smoothly.

But enough about back fat.


Glad you had a good day, I hope you were showered with expensive gifts, or at least fed a corndog!!!

So good news, I got the rights from the artist of the Disney Princesses "Girls Gone Wild" art.

Cristabell, that is so amazing you went ahead and got the okay for that design so quickly. I really love it, and would be proud to wearit emblazoned on my person!!!!

Of course, I will read the sizing info a bit more carefully this go around!!!!
