I was sure someone *coughBethcough* who was alive in the '70s would know who she was...

I guess it's true that the memory is the first to go in old age. :rotfl: ;)

Good thing they'll have us to keep them young and in the loop, Cristabel!
Oooooh, it's on now. Better watch yourself.

Bring it!

I love that smiley!

That's not what I heard. :rolleyes1

OK, who have you been talking to? :rotfl2:

The Sword and the Stone can't be a very good Disney movie. It doesn't have a Princess in it. princess: :rotfl:

Um, obviously it is a good movie, because it has it's very own ceremony multiple times a day at Disneyland.
:snooty:

Don't even talk to me again until you watch that movie.

Well, it might be awhile then. :rotfl:

Oh, and I've never seen the ceremony at DL either. :rolleyes1

:scared1: I thought I knew you Beth! Talk about lies and deceit! I don't even know what to think anymore.

I'm FORCING you to go and see the ceremony next month, even if I have to drag you kicking and screaming.

I am a Disney fan.......just a very selective one. :snooty: I had to Google her and I saw she's from the Sword and the Stone movie which I've never seen. :rolleyes1

You don't know who Madam Mim is?? For shame!! J/k!! :rotfl: I love Madam Mim! She makes me laugh. :rotfl: Merlin is awesome :yay: You should rent it. I'm sure you would love it too :goodvibes

The only movie I have never seen fully is Snow White. Every time I tell someone that, they gasp and say: "OMG! You haven't??" I've only seen bits and pieces but never watched the whole thing. That will be my assignment. :lmao:

My bf liked The Rescuers when he was little. He had those books that came with a cassette tape (the ones that tell you to turn the page when you hear the chime). This girl in his class thought it was hers and says: "THAT's MINE!!" and snatched it out of his hands. He said he was just shocked and didn't know what to do. That girl thought he had "stolen" it from her home or something. :sad2:

I have watched most of those. Like you Beth there were a couple that I had never heard of.

Hey I haven't ever watched the sword show either and I am there all the time.:confused3 We will have to gather around it at the mini meet and watch it.

I haven't watched that whole list either. I've seen most of them. Then there are a few that I never even heard of.

Good Morning Ladies!

And to all the newbies.

WELCOME!!!

Cristabel, sounds like you had a wonderful day at DL. Lucky you!!

Beth, that smilie is hilarious! I laughed out loud when I saw it. LOL! :lmao:

Wendy, why did I think you were older too? :confused3 Isn't it funny how sometimes we percieve things?

I have seen most of the movies.

How about Bedknobs and Broomsticks? Swiss Family Robinson? The Love Bug? The Monkey's Uncle? That Darn Cat? Mary Poppins? Thomasina?

Do you think I'm aging myself?

Ok...............I looked back on the list, and realized you were only mentioning animated ones. Sorry!

My older sister and I loved Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Swiss Family Robinson when we were kids. We also grew up on Mary Poppins and Herbie the Love Bug. :goodvibes: We had those old big plastic laser discs (before VHS and DVD's). :rotfl:

A few months ago my bf watched Herbie the Love Bug with me and he was cracking up the whole time. :teeth:

I like Fun & Fancy Free- it has Bongo the Bear :goodvibes:

You've never fully seen Snow White?? OK now that's bad. :rotfl: We own that one. But I almost never watch it. Her voice kind of bugs me. lol

I remember those books with the tapes!! OMG, I loved those. :goodvibes

"This is the story of The Rescuers. You can read along with me in your book. You'll know it's time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this: (ring). Let's begin now."

:rotfl:

OK, after we stuff ourselves at Cafe Orleans we can waddle over and watch the ceremony. If they do it that late that is. I don't even know when it's performed. :confused3

Oh good! It's not just me. LOL

We own several of them, and I just realized the other day that the twins don't watch them anymore. (Adam and Noelle outgrew them awhile ago) I asked them why not and they said they are boring. :scared1:

They'd rather watch Spongebob, Hannah Montana or Wizards of Waverly Place. All those sort of shows. Oh and High School Musical.
