Man oh man once again I am gone a few days and you guys start a whole new thread! SHEESH. I can't keep up. What am I going to do when I go away for 2 weeks!!!! I am going to miss so much! I am giong to need someone to just give me cliff notes!
Anyway we played our 2nd two games yesterday and did much better. We actually won our first game and tied our 2nd game so that was good but it was a LONG weekend. DSD came home at 8 on Sat and they told her to call in on Sunday morning, well she got up and had put her uniform in the wash and hadn't even dried it yet and they told her to come straight in! So dh had to rush her down there and then we were worried we would have to pick her up right in the middle of our last game.
We had our first game at 11:30 and then they wouldn't tell us when our 2nd game was because we had to wait to see how the other teams played but our team is REALLY close so we went and grabbed fast food and all the parents picnicd on the grass. It was really nice and relaxing but still made for kind of a long day. But then sd called and got off early and dh was freaking that he could pick her up and get back before the 2nd game started but he did and then my middle daughter said her eye hurt. I thought she would be ok but by the time the game was over it was swollen with pus and I was like oh oh looks like pink eye GREAT! In the meantime they had this photogs out there taking these GREAT action photos of the girls and they cut this deal with us to take pics of the 2nd game and a team photo and we would get that plus the orig disc from the first game for 120.00. Normally 1 cd of the first game is 60.00 and that is about 600 pics on a disc. Then the team photos are 10 each or 5 each for the team. Well we have 12 kids on the team and he said if we bought the first cd and the team pics he would film the 2nd game for free. So we got like 1200 pics plus the 12 8x10 team pics for the 120 or 10 bucks per parent so pretty good deal but I was having to organize that and collect the money from the parents all while my dd was having this eye problem.
We had been going since Friday night with the girl scout deal. All saturday at the tournament and then all sunday and then on to the urgent care and an hour at the pharmacy waiting on the meds. UgH!
LOOONG weekend and then poor baby woke up with her eye swole up the size of her head and so swollen shut it took forever to pry it open to get the drops in and now the pus was in the other eye so she has it in BOTH eyes now! But hey at least it didn't happen on my trip to DW right!
MAJORLY knocking on wood here!!!!!
Looks like she is out of school the rest of the week.
Anyway so that was MY lovely weekend!
Had to take her to work with me today and I am FINALLY back home. Took me forever to catch up with you all and I think mom and I are prob in on the totes but don't know if we are going to make or buy them just yet.
And we are also prob in on the pizza deal but I still don't know when our plane will get in till we can buy our tix but we are going to try and get as early as flight as possible. Any ideas on timing?
Anyway gotta run pick up the other youngins. Don't type 120 more pages while I'm gone!
