Too funny!! That was some manner of subliminal thing or Freudian slip (or any other undergarment of your choosing)! She was absolutly a she, and really amazingly kind and friendly. WHen I was writing about our conversation, I pictured her...and had another Chris/Pat moment and forgot she was a woman. I really was tired last night.

I am sorry that I am not responding to all the Swine flu stuff individually. I am a bit worried as well. So far nothing at my kid's school.

Oh and Laurie, how big your heart is!! I think I will try to keep your family in mind next time I am tempted to whine about something in my life!!!

I wish I was going to Vegas! I'll be in Vegas on June 30th and July 1st with my big Bro as he helps me move westward!

Oh, you're so close! They'll be leaving here on the 28th, so you'll just miss a bunch of the ladies.

Miss Cheryl is the hostess-with-the-mostest. She welcomed us to her lovely home like we were family. And provided more food/booze and friendship than one could ask for. Thank you so much. The MA was so much fun, of course with Stacerita, Amy, and my DD, how could I not have a blast?

Later on in the day, just as I was leaving the park, I was going through the middle of Town Square, and in the corner of my eye I noticed lime green boas! Sure enough there was MaryJo and her gang. So I got to give hugs to them too.

And Churro was boozing it up all weekend. I think Dawn will have more pix of him with empty wine and champagne bottles and cocktails than all of us girls! He is just soooo cute. Dawn made us goodie bags, too. She is so thoughful and creative, I love all the stuff she gave me. And Breezy made sure I didn't steal the sucker Dawn gave her either, she said "make sure you don't put that in YOUR bag, mom".

Dawn sent me the cutest picture of Churro with an empty wine bottle. It is totally cute!

It's very scary. And very real. And I always thought those people walking around on the news with masks were just being dramatic.

Hope everything in Ayden's tests come back okay.

So I'm back with Ayden from the Dr's. It was QUICK!!! I had him go in covering his mouth and nose with his shirt and not touch ANYTHING. We were literally in and out in less than 10 minutes thank goodness! So as Kelly said, it's confirmed to be in our town now. I am so nervous. That school is less than a mile from my house. When I emailed Ayden's T-Ball coach to tell him he wouldn't be at the game tonight he emailed me back asking if he had any relations to this school. I'm thankful he's being so cautious about it. He has asked parents if they have kids at the school or if they've had contact with anyone from the school to not attend the game tonight. The coach of the other team is doing the same. This is just so scary......it's like right in my own backyard now. It makes me not want to go to work, not want to send Ayden anywhere.

As for the Dr's...the nurse said she did see a couple of patches on his throat so we did a quick throat culture and should have the results by tomorrow morning at the latest.

Let us know what they say. Here's wishing the best for Ayden.

Morning all. I haven't read from where I left off from last night yet but I wanted to add some pics.

This is Shelby getting the long anticipated and favorite gift. Her DS!!

I'm sure you can tell by her expression she was VERY excited LOL.

And this is her with her birthday cake.

And one last pic. My mom got a starter mix of a yeast bread from work. It is called a frienship bread where you gift the starter and the recipe and she and Katy made it last night. For those of you that don't know Katy REALLY wants to be a chef and has several cook books, aprons and all the utensils and when we went to Disney World instead of regular souveniers she wanted the Disney cooking stuff LOL. She also wanted the Disney Cook Book and mom got it for her for Christmas. She watches the food channel and REALLY loves to cook. So this is a pic of her and the bread that she made.

Anyway I will go back now and read up but today I have to go to work and then tonight I am still debating about what to do about swim.

I left my phone at home and when I got back I had a call from one of my mom friends and they decided not to go last night and the other voicemall was from our school district saying that as of now there are no cases in the public school and not to panic but if you notice any signs not to send your kids to school and yadda yadda. So I guess parents are panicing and not wanting to send their kids to school and on and on. So it begins. I feel like for us it is a LOT closer since the actual kids that it IS affecting are on OUR swim team so it is not like it is at some random school that we are not around. It is just nuts. We have time trials in only two weeks and they NEED the practice but do you put your kids at risk? I mean it is such a tough decision. I don't know if any of the kids at the pool were really exposed or not and you would HOPE that the parents would be smart enough not to bring them but then some people may not know if their kids were exposed until it is too late or some people are just dumb and don't think. They think their kid just has a cold or allergies when in reality it could be something worse. I mean their or 30 kids in EACH age group and they all huddle together and I have seen my own kids cough and sneeze in eachother's faces and even in mine and I am allways yelling at them to cover their faces etc. I guess I will call my friend and see what she is going to do.

Mouse Adventure was BiG FuN! I highly recommend it, especially if you have smarTies on your teaM.. before we even left the ballroom, WendyLouWho had solved the hidden puzzle.

Heather.... Your T shirt Designs were soooo Pretty.. they were colorful and lovely, We recieved so many compliments on them. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. Your designs were exactly what i had in my mind. And you did it in such little time, WoWwOwWoW!

I'm back to bed, i'm still feeling really sick.

Janelle I was going to say I so feel you on your rib problem. When I was in Disney World this past Nov I had been there almost the entire time and then RIGHT before we left I woke up in the middle of the night with this terrible pain that felt almost like I was having a stupid heart attack. It was this pain going down my left arm and my dh had to go get ice to put in my arm pit of all things. But it was this burning stinging in my arm pit that went across my chest. Well it turned out to be this thing called interstial cystitis. And it was some type of inflamation of the membranes in between your ribs but it bothered me for months. And apparently it was from some type of blunt force injury that I had sustained while there. Like getting knocked around on all the rides. So I sure hope you start feeling better. I know how much that can hurt when you can't take a deep breath etc.

And as far as the flu thing, after I posted above I went back and checked my e-mails and ironically I had two, one from last night where the team had cancelled practice and had consulted the health dept and because over half our team goes to that school they were considering cancelling for the entire week but then they had ANOTHER one saying it was ok to have practice tonight. I still don't know if I like that idea because they just basically said if people's kids have any cold or flu symptoms to just not bring them. Well again hopefully the kids are just not showing any signs yet or whatever. I don't know I guess we shall see.

Plus my parents are supposed to go to Mexico in June. I guess it will remain to be seen how bad this thing gets to see if they still go.

Anyway gotta take the girls to school here soon and then I'm off to work. So see yall later.

Ayden's test results are in...he tested positive for Strep throat. Part of me is relieved because like Laurie mentioned now he'll be on antibiotics for awhile and hopefully that will help boost his immune system. I ended up staying home again from work today......one because I still hurt and two I'm causing myself to have panic attacks about this stupid flu being in my own backyard!!!! It's not like I work in a small office...I work in a HUGE office with hundreds and hundreds of people. DBF thinks I'm nuts....but even him going to work and coming home freaks me out. I think it's because I am getting over being so dang sick I don't want to do it again.

Kelly I completely understand your fear of not wanting to take the girls to practice. BTW that cake looks soooooooooooooooo good!!!! She looked so happy! She honestly looks familiar to me...wonder if I've seen you guys around or something. I think I'm keeping Ayden home the rest of the week. He has a school performance on Thursday night that I'd hate for him to miss though. I'm just so confused!

So Ayden's dad was supposed to take him today...as soon as I told him he tested positive for strep he changed his mind real quick on that. Must be nice to be a parent at your convenience.
