Just saw this.....Will probably affect us when we're there in Feb.

He was talking about the Rivers of America being drained in winter and spring of 2010 for a refurb on Fantasmic.

How weird would that be to see the rivers drained????? Here is the quote from Al's page

Shirt colors? Any one have preferences or suggestions?

I believe talk was to wear the last trips Tink shirt on Thursday.
Get a new shirt for one day - will probably be our picture day.
That leaves at least 3 days of shirt colors, not counting that Tuesday. If we count it, then its 4 colors.

I thought the red worked very well. And the lime green too. Personally I think a yellow shirt would be nice.

We can start tossing out the ideas. Anyone?

I did like the brown shirts we had last year, and they fit the best of any of the shirts so far.

Hey=--I've got Rosa for tomorrow night. And Saturday.

Make sure you bring some to Vegas.

Okay, I didn't respond to this before, but let me explain. I must have had a dangling participle or something. I meant, the appliques that I stitched onto the t-shirts featured a mickey mouse head wearing a bandana!!! The mickey was of pink fabric with little black dots while the bandana was black fabric with pink dots. Geesh...like my over protected DD would be sporting gang plumage!!!!

IfOh, and for shirts, I like red, lime green, and blue. Earthy and cool tones generally look good on most ladies. Browns, tans, greens, and blues.

I like red and lime green (already have them), Tink (white), whatever shirt design we have for next year, and green, blue, and pink.

I did like the brown shirts we had last year, and they fit the best of any of the shirts so far.

The only problem with the brown shirts is they have the 2008 dates on them..... but it's easy enough to just wear a brown shirt. I really like the red and lime green because it is so easy to find your group in the bright colors

Morning all!

First off Steph so sorry to hear of all three of your babies having the pink eye. Both Katy and Shelby had it last summer and it sucked!! Katy got it during our soccer tournament and it popped up REALLY quick! Her eye started getting red and by the time we took her to urgent care it was nearly swollen shut. It came on THAT quick. But something about her and being a red head she reacts more strongly to stuff like that for some reason. By the next day it was in both her eyes and she had it REALLY bad. I tried DESPERATELY to keep Shelby away and keep all the seperate wash clothes, towels etc but she still got it. So they both ended up missing a whole week of school. So I feel your pain. I hope your little guy gets some relief soon!! And I sure remember those earaches too! There was a time where shelby had one it seemed every other month!

And Capri I just LOVE your moose pics! SOOO cute!

Well today has been so weird. We had 90 plus temps here the beginning of the week after last week being cold and now this morning it rained if you can believe that. WEIRD!

I am glad it is not so hot but I wanted it to be just in between. NOT hot but not cold either. Just NICE! I am sick of the cold but didn't want it boiling either. UGH. Oh well I am sure it will all get figured out eventually LOL.

But anyway the girls are about to go to school here in a minute and then I am off to work. Then tonight we have to run to sam's and I am looking forward to FINALLY seeing Ghost Whisperer. LOVE that show! For any of you survivor fans it was a GOOD one last night eh? What a shocker!! And if any of you watch Ghost Whisperer it has been a crazy last year with her husband dieing and then coming back and now they showed a preview where she might be pregnant so that is probably going to be the season finale. I HATE when they do those cliff hangers and they make you wait all those months to find out! But anyway then tomorrow Shelby has a birthday party to go to so I will most likely stay with her because she was in the same kindergarten and first grade with the same teacher and group of kids because of a program that they tried and so this particular group of kids is REALLY close. They are all really good friends cuz they knew eachother for 2 years and even though they finally got split up this year in 2nd grade they all still kind of gravitate to each other on the play ground and some of them are in the class still. Like this boy Travis has known Shelby since he was 4 and on her T-ball team and he is her buddy and her other best buddy Trace is not in her class but he still invited her to his birthday but she couldn't go cuz we were in Disney.

I am hoping they stay friends. But anyway I am friends with the moms too because of volunteering and of all the birthdays etc. So I look forward to visiting with them and catching up. Then depending on how things go we MAY go try and see either 17 again or Earth tomorrow night. We'll see.

So hopefully should be a fun weekend.

Hope everyone has a great day and I KNOW those going to MA are going to have a great time. I don't have to tell you how jealous I am and I think next year we should do this again because I KNOW that mom and I are interested in being on a team with some others so I hope that some of you doing it this year are interested in doing it again next year cuz we DEF want to do it next year!!!

I like the red and lime green ideas. I prefer bright colors.
I really don't like yellow and think it doesn't look good on a lot of people. I do like Pink, particularly the fushia variety.
I LOVE purple and think it looks good on alot of people.
I've also thought about black or brown.

Edited to Add: Oh, and I wouldn't mind staying onsite if I could do the four (or five) roomie thing and keep costs down. But even at $180 a night, with four people that would still be $50 a night per person. Just thinking out loud.
I know Cheryl, you looked at a Grand Suite, but would we have enough people who have points to get a few two bedrooms? They sleep 6 (and after having seen them, I'm certain we could actually fit in closer to 8 and be very comfortable still) and typically will cost ALOT less. Just a thought. Those of us without the DVC could each pay a portion and I still think we'd end up coming up cheaper than a room, AND have kitchens, etc.

Let's talk about it tonight--it is still very pricey point-wise. And they do enforce occupancy limits--and anyone who is not listed on the reservation would not get Magic MOrning privileges.

I hope everyones Friday is off to a nice start. It's raining here!!!! Wahh...I guess it's better today though than Friday.

As for color of shirts...I'm ok with anything really, just don't make me wear orange!!! Trust me it's not a pretty sight and would ruin any group pictures!

On a good note...I slept a little better last night. My co-workers will be thankful!
