Stacie, how do these run in size? My Mickey crocs are a 8-9 Medium and fit well, but I usually like to get a size up in flip flops so my heels don't come close to the end.

My Athens are size 8; I measured my foot and looked at the size chart on that page and ordered an 8 in 3 different ones. Christine is getting 3 for Christmas, I had her add them to my cart. Used secondchance and got each pair for $8.49 plus free shipping for 6 pairs!!

It sure does! But I was talking to someone else about it, and they said it's really the best thing for her. It will ensure she gets the rest she needs, so let's hope it's not as scary as it sounds and will allow her to begin the road to recovery.

If I get them early enough, I would like our little gifts to be a sort of Advent Calendar for her to open each day. I would label each wrapped gift with a number 1- 25.

Kelly--in addition to cute Disney stuff (Alice and Tinkerbell I think mostly) she is what I would call "spiritual"--she is a seeker and appreciates things with meaning--if that helps. Not necessarily religious. HOpe that makes sense.

Thank you. That really means a lot to me right now. It just really couldn't have come at a harder time. I feel so selfish but all I have going through my mind right now is Christmas. I'm thankful for so many things we have, but in reality it just scares me to death. Anyway, thanks for the good thoughts.

Janelle I am SO sorry! I know how hard this must be! I also know about your struggles too with CS and it is so ironic because yesterday we got a note about Lynn turning 18 in Feb and how we need to let them know if she is still in school or not or else it will stop, GEEE how ironic that they are worried about STOPPING it when we have never gotten a DIME! They aren't doing ANYTHING to find her mom and COLLECT what she owes but yet they are worried about ENDING something we aren't even GETTING! GO FIGURE! So I feel your pain. Shane has taken over a 10/hr paycut this year as well as losing his vacation pay (we don't get paid for sick leave or when he goes on vacation he just gets money deposited in a fund and now we lost THAT too!) So I totally feel ya! I have been so worried that he is going to lose his job all together! ((hugs)) and I will be praying that Chris finds something quickly!!!! And don't feel bad about worrying about Christmas. I know what you mean. You are worried about how you are going to get Ayden gifts now etc. That is a valid feeling. I am available to talk if you need to!!

Well today is Shane's big test to get his contractor's license so I am majorly crossing my fingers that he passes. He has been studying for this thing since last spring and it would be a big deal if he passes although I will admit I am pretty nervous about him switching careers. Don't get me wrong his current job SUCKS BUT starting over is pretty scary too. With all my health issues that means starting over with new ins AGAIN and we would be self employed so have to deal with our CS garnishments ourselves which has ALWAYS been a huge nightmare. Not to mention running your own business is EXTREMELY stressful ESP in this economy. Shane is very confident that it is the right move for us. I just hope and pray he is right!

It is the last day of school for the girls as well before the break so I am glad for that although tomorrow we are supposed to go to the harvest festival and it is supposed to storm like crazy. Go figure LOL. But hopefully we can still have fun. And then saturday is our last reg soccer game. Glad that is over!! Then that night the girls are going to a birthday party. So busy weekend! The girls had a fun night at church last night. They had a pajama party and had popcorn and watched a spiritual film. They don't have church next wed because of thanksgiving. And then next weekend we are hopefully going to truckee after t-day and that Sunday is our soccer party. So busy busy. I am hoping to get to go to a few of the new movies that are out during the week that the girls are off. We shall see.

I am going to run out today and try to find something for Dawn and then I will try to get it out in the mail in the next few days!!

Your family will be in my prayers that Chris finds something soon . I know how hard it is, I haven't worked in 11 months & haven't been able to find anything that's worth while. It can be hard but as long as you have friends & family you'll get through the hard times .

Deb - you might want to find out if Dawn will even be able to receive flowers right now. If she's in ICU and in isolation/quarantine, that probably means no and if she is having respiratory problems, they don't usually allow flowers (pollen, etc.) into the rooms. I wouldn't want you to waste your money if she would not even be able to benefit from them.

Deb we had this conversation a little while ago, and you must have missed it.
It was kind of decided to wait on flowers, and just send cards for now. We even talked about a cookie arrangement, but decided against that too.
