So I just found out I didn't get the job I applied for (within my company). I am not surprised at all but the guy who did get it will be leaving a position that I would like so I am trying to get a lateral transfer! Fingers crossed please!

I'm not doing the HOB gospel brunch only because Theresa, Marcie and I just did it in September at the HOB here. I will say it was GOOD!! The food was fabulous, especially the cheese grits, and the music was inspiring. But I don't need to do it again so soon.
And I'm not doing Napa Rose because I'm po folk! lol Too rich for my blood.

I've never eaten at Riverbelle Terrace and the HoB meal doesn't have a whole lot of things that I like to eat so I can't justify the price. Actually I've never eaten breakfast in the park. Looking forward to it.

I know, she is as cute as can be. I didn't realize how long your hair is, Courtney. Very shiny and pretty. When you "enhance" the color (like DD & myself do - yes, we admit it) the soft and shiny kind of go away. At least somewhat. Anyway, you are such a pretty girl and your party sounded like such fun - until you got sick, anyway.

I hope a lot of Divas stay through Monday. It really is a slow day in the parks and we get so much done without the crowds. Please try to stay.

When we were throwing around ideas for the Napa Rose dinner I mentioned that I don't think the Cove Bar will even be open on a Monday night. DCA may very well close at 6 pm that day. So, for us die hards who really want to meet for a drink and some conversation, we may have to try to squeeze it in another day. We have a month or so till the park schedules come out so we can try to make plans later. I really enjoyed that last year, too.

Im down to go to the Cove bar anytime.

Okay so I just realized that I'll have to leave on Monday to go to class and then come back afterward. I tried scheduling my spring semester around this trip since I don't have any other responsibilities but I had to make sure I had Thursday nights off for my small group.

So that means I'll have to leave DL on Monday at 1:00 to get to school, find parking and go to class.

Now I remember why I don't watch the news. Too depressing. I hate how they "readjusted" the swine flu numbers and now they are much higher than first thought! They say around 540 kids have died from it. And supposedly the virus can mutate and could get worse. Not what I wanted to hear.

This is the list for volunteers and the spots that are open. We need someone to make a PS for WCT and for Steakhouse 55. And we will probably need at least 2 more to make a PS for CC.

Since there are only a few signed up for Segway tour, they might just end up making their own reservations, unless we get more sign-ups.
