Picture time! These are some pictures from the party I went to Saturday night.

This was my makeup I did. I was soo happy with it. It's pink and gold to match my outfit.

My braces don't match though.

This is me and my coworkers. The birthday girl is in the middle and her cousin, who works with us too, is on the right.

And after the party is when I got sick! BOO.

I'd pay to see that I know what you mean though - which is why I love my job. I do have to be "nice" on the phone, but what you don't see won't hurt (and it makes me feel so much better!)

Me too! The person on the other end of the phone never has to know what kind of faces or hand gestures you are doing...really helps relieve the stress sometimes!

Thanks, Vicki! I had that dress for awhile and I got lucky finding matching shoes AND a mask! Whew!

I know, she is as cute as can be. I didn't realize how long your hair is, Courtney. Very shiny and pretty. When you "enhance" the color (like DD & myself do - yes, we admit it) the soft and shiny kind of go away. At least somewhat. Anyway, you are such a pretty girl and your party sounded like such fun - until you got sick, anyway.

I hope a lot of Divas stay through Monday. It really is a slow day in the parks and we get so much done without the crowds. Please try to stay.

Thank you Linda. I have no idea how my hair got so long. It's been a year or so since I've cut it? Probably longer. I think I've dyed my hair twice? But, I swear it's not that shiny in real life. I think it's the camera flash. I put hot pink extensions in that night, but you can't see them!

Yep! It was a masquerade. Having a mask was a requirement! And we searched all over the earth for dbf's mask! And he wore it for a whole 10 minutes!

When we were throwing around ideas for the Napa Rose dinner I mentioned that I don't think the Cove Bar will even be open on a Monday night. DCA may very well close at 6 pm that day. So, for us die hards who really want to meet for a drink and some conversation, we may have to try to squeeze it in another day. We have a month or so till the park schedules come out so we can try to make plans later. I really enjoyed that last year, too.

Wow!! I am so jealous. Good for you. I want to go on a cruise sooooo badly, but I want an Alaskan cruise. Someday...............when I win the lotto. So, are ya gonna get a ticker to count down the 499 days?? lol

Oh Beth! I just priced a cruise for 4 in May at $1900. 7 days roundtrip Seattle, inside passage. To go in June it is $2700 for all 4 of us. That is with free passenger 3 and 4. Nothing wrong with missing 5 days of school is there?

We are not going yet, but I am busy pricing. I don't know what you do when you have 6 though. Probably 2 rooms? Or actually they have suites that hold 6 I think. If you went when it was free 3rd and 4th passenger then a suite would be same as two staterooms., so maybe around $5000?? Man that is a lot of money! Plus airfare?? Crazy! Maybe you should just ditch the kids and go with hubby?

Stacerita sorry you had to deal with a poopy head! I agree with the others I would have been all nice in the e-mail or over the phone but been making lots of gestures in person! What they don't see won't hurt!

Thanks Tina about yesterday. It wasn't a total blow out. We did have fun with the shopping part and got some good stuff for the girls it just was one of those days where everything kept going wrong but it could have been worse so no biggie.

Courtney you looked MAHVELOUS! Loved the makeup AND the costumes! Looks like a fun time!!!

I am really excited about WOC! I was hoping it would be open for our trip since I have no immediate plans to go back anytime soon. We are tentatively taking our road trip this summer which means no disney trips in the summer and then mom is still talking about a few days at DW and then a RC cruise in Oct/Nov next year so that means prob no Disneyland either. So this trip will prob be my last to DL for a LONG time. I want to get everything out of it I can!!

And I would LOVE it if we could do the cover bar another night as well. We missed it last year too and I really want to go. As I mentioned before mom and I met up with a few gals last year for drinks at the GCH bar and it was SO nice visiting. Plus the desert and drinks at the Napa Rose was so fun too! I have never been to cove bar and would REALLY like to go and I am sure mom would as well. That is right up her alley as she really doesn't care about rides but likes to go more for the visiting anyway. We are leaving Monday around 5 so couldn't do any monday night stuff either. So hopefully it will work out!

Anyway last night we took the girls to church and then they wanted us to come a bit early and they gave out 1st quarter awards. This was new this year. They didn't do that last year. But anyway for those familiar with Awana shelby is on her 2nd book and earned her wings. For those NOT familiar you get these books and as you complete sections you earn a little pair of wings and then for each section you complete you get these little jewels to put on your wings and then by the end of the book the wings are full and then they get a big award for finishing the book. Last year they got a little doll but some groups they give a plaque. Katy is still in her book from last year cuz she is in the TNT's which is an older group and it is harder. Much more to memorize. But Shelby also got a certificate for being ahead of the game in her group and Katy got one for being a good friend to everyone in her group. So it was fun for them and then they got cupcakes.

So it was a nice evening at church! Then we just came home and relaxed. So at least the day ENDED well LOL.

Today I just have to attack my never ending laundry and I have to go to the post office so I am going to hopefully get a box from my stocking stuff so I can get it mailed off soon.

For those thinking about the WIWF Tour, the "lunch" is after the tour so if we do the later tour, which actually starts at 2:30, we would be eating close to 6:00 which would interfere with Carnation Cafe, but I guess we could take one of the later seating times and just have dessert.

Is anyone flying into LGB? We are arriving around 9:30am Thursday. I would love to be able to stay until Monday but I CANNOT miss work the first few days of the month. So we will be leaving Sunday afternoon.

I don't believe that means the show will be ready to start then. They will just have the viewing area ready and out from behind the construction walls. The show isn't slated to start until a couple months later.

Hello everyone!

I think Cristabel was just talking about the viewing area. That will be cool to see, it looks like it will be very pretty. It will at least be a little exciting to see some things come together. Not to mention losing some of the blue walls.

I'm all for the Cove bar on Friday night. I would love to have a chance to just sit, chill, and talk with friends. Especially since there will be no F! to watch.

I just got back from taking Nathan for his hearing test, and he did so well. He only fussed a couple of times. I'm so proud of him.

I'm back at work today and I don't feel 100% wonderful. Bleh, what can you do?

LOL Now you sound like my hubby!! That's what he wants to do, just go the two of us. But I'd feel to guilty. I really want them there. Why? So I can listen to them complain and bicker? I guess so.

And it sucks because everyone is more of a challenge with a family of 6. We'd probably end up with two cabins. What cruise line was this?
We are looking to go in 2011, so we have a while to plan still.
