Me too!!! WTH is going on since the time change??? We just watched a movie and I'm so ready for bed - but it's only 8:00 p.m. Sheeoot, I thought it was close to 11 or something....

BTW - Wal-Mart has some nice Danskin hoodies (thinner, so okay for me as they would not be too warm ) for quite cheap - around $15 or so.

Has anyone here ever gotten whiplash from the gym? I can't believe my neck is getting worse and that's the only thing I could have done to it.

Thanks Donna! No, afraid it is more trivial than that. Just family vacation funds and priorities etc. I have been 5 times this last year and it is hard to spend another $1000, or even $500 on just me, ya know?? And then there is the matter of who will run the household. Just can't make it this year.

But guess what? I got SICK!!!! Ewww. I am not a happy camper right now. Last night I had a fever and red blotchy grossness all over my body. I think my fever went away, but now I'm coughing and I feel phlegm-y. This is no bueno.

I am also in for the Christmas cards. I don't normally do them, so this is a big push for me. But, last year it was so sad when everyone else was posting about the cards they had received and I knew that I had opted out. So, I am going to challenge myself to get this done and be part of the fun!

I did it last year Jane, and I had not even met anyone yet. It was really fun, and not too hard to do the sending.

I am having that problem too. I usually get used to it right away but I am still waking up every morning at the same time (5:30, what used to be 6:30) and am ready for bed by 9:00, but then I end up staying up too late.

Capri sorry you got sick. We played the stupid Wii for hours on Saturday and I ended up with a stupid migraine from all the repetitive motion with my one arm and THEN something I ate did not agree with me either. I didn't get sick to my stomach but I am sure you get the idea. Needless to say between THAT and my headache I didn't get a whole lot of sleep Sat night. Hope you felt better yesterday and today!

I am so excited about everyone doing the Christmas card exchange again. I have a TON of relatives but they are really lazy about sending out cards and even the few IRL friends I have are bad about it. I have one friend who I have known since high school who lives right here in town and after sending her a card for YEARS and her not sending one back I finally said to heck with it. I talk more with you guys than with her. She claims she is just too busy with her kids sports and stuff but WHATEVER. I mean I work part time and my kids are WAY busy with 3 sports and girl scouts etc but I STILL manage to find the time. If it wasn't for the cards I got from you guys I prob would have only gotten like 10! SAD! It really made my day and I really looked forward to my mailbox everyday! SO fun! I STILL have Wendy's from last year's in my brief case. It was a hoot!

Anyway I am off to work today and nothing going on tonight except just DWTS, Heros and Trauma (I better appreciate that while it lasts as I heard NBC is pulling it, glad I didn't get too hooked!). Then tomorrow we will prob get UP and watch it. The girls are REALLY excited about that. So am I LOL. LOVED that movie! And then Wed the girls have the day off so I am REALLY looking forward to going shopping with mom and hopefully getting the stuff for my stocking! So hopefully should be a good week!

Just checking in to say Hi! Most of the time that I am on the computer I am one-handed and can't typed much. I am really bad about Christmas cards, so this should inspire me to send some out to friends and family also. I have been organizing my house this morning, but I have to go pick up Donovan (3 years old) from preschool in about half an hour. Then off to the grocery store with him. I am hoping he will let me finish putting away laundry after that. Then Meghan (6 years old) gets home at 4ish from Kindergarten and we have cheerleading from 6-7. At least hubby will be home around 5 so that I don't have to take Donovan to cheerleading with me. He gets bored!

Well, I will try to type more and get to know you guys better before February. I can't wait to get away and have some me time! Who wants a roomie!! I have a room reserved, but no one with me right now.

You know how last week I was home for two days because ds was sick? Now I am home because dd is sick. It doesn't seem to be as bad, but she has a fever so can't go to daycare and all my normal sitters are sick or on vacation and dh just started his new job and doesn't get sick leave. Fun fun. I hope no one gets sick for the rest of the winter because I am using up all my sick leave now!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes concerning my little upchuck episode. Really, it wasn't that bad. I felt much better after I.....uhhhh.....got sick a few times. I did feel a little queasy the next day but nothing too bad. It was my own dumb fault anyway because I should have known better than to eat an Arby's roastbeef sandwich.....it happens everytime I eat one. So I kinda asked for it.

YES! Heck, I'd be offended if you didn't want to join. Kidding.

Although.......I don't know what it costs for you to send cards out, so if it's a lot, I want send you one for sure, but don't feel you have to send one back, if it's a lot. What I mean is, I'll be sending you one and only paying for international postage one time, but if there's 20 or more ladies on the list, that could really add up for you!! So if it gets to be a lot of money, I'll understand if you want to skip mine.

Not that I don't want a card from you, I just don't want you to spend $40 mailing out cards.

The holidays can be rough. I have such a love/hate relationship with Christmas. I alternate from wanting to go to bed and wake up again in January, and then over the weekend I was tempted to start putting up my decorations and trees!! It's a roller coaster, I tell ya. I love Christmas and what it's supposed to stand for, I just hate the $$$$, stress, and other crap that comes along with it.
But Christmas cards I can handle.
