Tina, I need to start saving for our Alaskan cruise too! This ladies trip in February will be my last one. Someone else will have to take over planning for the next one. I'll be eating PB&J and saving for our cruise. LOL

Less than 48 hours till we go to Disneyland! So excited and now really nervous as dd threw up yesterday for the first time. She seems to be doing ok so far today but we aren't giving her any milk for a couple days so we are try to figure out different ways to get her the nutrients she needs (14 months old). Any ideas? We are going to try pedialite and were thinking maybe soy formula? She hasn't had formula in a while but ???....

and then they are going to re-tool it with a new movie in 3-D which will open in 2011. They are also going to re-theme the queue. One of the scenes in the new movie will be the pod-racer scene from Star Wars I.

Nope--originally they said 2012--then Darth Vader comes up on the screen and causes a fuss/threatens, so they agree to 2011.

I just talked to dh and my baby threw up again. Of course he was worried she was dehydrated so he had given her 2 8 oz bottles of juice this morning Her stomach isn't big enough for that! I told him to give her 2 oz at a time and then wait 30-45 minutes before giving her the next 2 ounces. Then she is getting some that will hopefully stay in her system. I also told him to call the doctor just in case she is dehydrated. I don't know if they could do anything but it is worth a call. Also when dh was young he had to go into the hospital because he was dehydrated so now I am all worried that she will end up in the hospital and we won't be able to go on the trip! Ugg. And with me working 16 hours today is just all that much worse! I just want to be there with my baby!

I just talked to dh and my baby threw up again. I just want to be there with my baby!

Deep breaths. It's going to be fine. She will be fine. Hopefully it's just one of those 24 hour bugs. She won't get dehydrated that quickly. When my kids were sick when they were little like that I was told to wait until the vomiting had stopped for 2 hours. Then give them just a tiny bit of something, either water or pedialyte. Wait another 2 hours to see if that stays down, and then gradually keep giving them more as they keep it down.

So definitely talk to her doctor and see what he recommends. But what your DH gave was, as you said, way too much for her. She will be ok, and if it is some kind of bug, make sure he/you and everyone else is washing their hands frequently. The last thing you need is to catch it as well.

Hang in there.

I guess it would depend on what all I do and eat. Well, I really won't be doing any tours. So I guess the main thing is hotel, food and transportation. I can do without souvenirs so no big deal there. I think last year I spent about $700. Part of that was Club 33. I'm not sure how much this year will run me.

You're referring to ChaCha where you answer questions right? That died out. Even Stacielee stopped doing it. There just isn't the money to be made.
I don't know. We'll see. But truly if it does come down to a choice, I'd skip the ladies trip in 2011 in favor of the Alaskan cruise since that is something for both Ruben and myself, and he deserves it.

We are actually going the week before Christmas (December 14th-18th) but I hear they start decorating the ships at the end of November. I've never been around the holidays so I'm really excited. We are doing the one that stops in Ensenada and Catalina Island. We got a 5 day/4 night for $174 each and that's with a window. Plus if the price goes lower I can call back and get the lower price up to 2 days before we set sail. The prices are so cheap I can't help myself.

Wild RiversYes Wild Rivers is like Raging Waters...but so much better. We went to Raging Waters on Labor Day and I like Wild Rivers better. I went on the Bombay Blasters, that was scary! You are about 3 feet in the air when you come out of this tube and it's dark inside and feels like it's straight down.

Dang, that is cheap!! What's the weather like that time of year?? And I think I asked you this before, but is Carnival more of a party ship? I mean, do you see many kids on board?
That price is so cheap, I'm almost considering doing a test run on a cheap 3 or 4 day cruise just to see how my kids react to it and being on the water. I don't want to fork out big bucks for an Alaskan cruise only to have everyone end up with horrible motion sickness.

The BRAT diet is good for diarrhea if she has that. But don't give her any solids until she is keeping down the liquids for 24 hours. The frozen ped pops would also be good as Tina suggested. And I'm not a doc either, just made many calls to them with four kids!!

Hey Girls! I am SO excited! I just booked the GCH for our October family trip! The good AP rates were extended so we got it for $237 a night. Still alot of $$, but it has been years since we stayed there last and I REALLY want to go and relax and enjoy. So, I splurged! AND we will be there on Halloween night!

Rich is gone for the week on business. Thank God my mom lives close and can help me control the chaos around here! We have a parent meeting at school tonight so I have a babysitter coming over for that. At least I am able to get out of the house in the evenings.

DH just gave her the second dose of pedialyte and she hasn't thrown up since 11 so hopefully we can keep her going for a while without throwing up. I guess the diaper situation is a little nasty though...sorry if that is TMI!
