Does anyone know offhand whether they sell cream at the Hojo little store?

I first read this as ice cream...... I was like just buy it from Disneyland! That's what I get for drooling over the food porn threads.

I slept on a rollaway last year when I roomed with Beth and January, and I could totally feel the springs and the bar in the rollaway, so it wasn't all that comfortable, but I don't think it would be too bad if it had a foam pad on it.

Awwww Capri, I asked you if you were okay on it many times last trip. I didn't know it was so uncomfortable. Now I have guilt. I'm sorry you were so miserable on it.

I have an idea...why don't we have Beth pick a number between 1 and 100...then the 3 of us each pm her our number choice and the 2 who are closest get the nice beds and the person who is furthest away gets the roll a way?

I'm game! LOL
And I can PM someone else not involved the number I chose so they can confirm I didn't just take a bribe.

I have to quickly pack up because I'm taking the train to Union Station in LA where my dad will be picking me up. I already emailed my two professors letting them know I'm really sick and it'd be best for me not to get everyone else sick, too.

I'm not sure if I will be picking it up or if someone else will since I'm getting there a bit later than the M & G committee. If someone else picks it up it would be around 4ish I believe but hopefully Stacie or Jane will confirm.

Because I'm not sure what time we'll be arriving/checking in at the Hojo, so I don't want to miss the box. I'm pretty sure it will be later than 4ish.

My inlaws will be arriving tomorrow. They are staying in hotels until I leave, then they will be staying here with Ruben and the kids. I hope my house survives!!!

I hope everyone is having a super duper awesome day.

I got loads of stuff done on my to-do list, this morning. I'm a little bit more relaxed now, but from now until Sunday my life is going to be busy, busy, busy!

Happy Birthday to little Miss Bella! It's also my niece's b-day today. She's turning 7. Man they grow up fast. Seems like just yesterday she was coming home from the hospital. Now I hear that Bella is 1 already? Didn't you just get her? Has that much time really passed already? Time is a scary thing sometimes.

Afternoon gals!

Cristabel I hope you feel better! Shane had a cold as did Shelby and they are feeling better and so far (majorly knocking on wood here) I have managed not to get it!!! I REALLY don't want to be sick during the trip!!!

I saw that forecast too. BOOOOO! I hope that it changes again before next week. I can live with chilly but rain, yucko!!

So we aren't staying at the Hojo but we WILL be sharing a cab with Capri and Callie so should I give them mom and I's candy to take in with them when we drop them off? That way they will have it to set up with? Otherwise we won't be bringing it till right before. And unfortunately Barb won't be bringing her's till we get there at 6:30 cuz we are meeting her later in the day. Is that ok?

I just hope I can get my pillowcase through security. I already have it in my bag all decorated because my suitcase and carry on are small and won't fit anything else. I hope they don't make me take it all apart. I am hoping I can just put it through the x-ray!!

Shane got an interesting call today. Apparently Lynn is ALREADY moving back up here. I KNEW it wouldn't last with her mom. Apparently her mom got a DUI and has been buying booze with her paychecks instead of food and not giving her any money to wash her clothes (they live in an apt) and on and on. She is figuring out that living with us wasn't as bad as she thought!! She is realizing she had it pretty darn good here with food in the fridge at all times and dad and grandma giving her money all the time and dad paid her cell phone bill etc but down there she had NONE of that. Unfortunately she has burned all her bridges here but somehow she convinced Shane's mom to take her back. Don't ask me how cuz they told us they wouldn't take her back and honestly I don't think it will last but we shall see. I told Shane she REALLY needs to stop thinking about today and start thinking past tomorrow! She keeps flitting from one place to the next but she needs to figure out what she is going to do with her life. She is 18 now and out of school and she needs to think about some kind of job and what she is going to do to live. She has no drivers license or car and no job or even a real job history because the 2 jobs she has had she has only worked at a few months each and basically got fired from both of them for just up and leaving with NO notice. NOT a good history there. It is SO hard to find jobs in this day and age and she can't even use what little experience she has. The military was really her only option at this point but she doesn't want to do that so I don't know WHAT she is going to do. We shall see I guess.

Anyway the girls and I have just been cleaning around here all day and shane is going to be at school again tonight so that's pretty much it for us. I have to check their rooms here in a bit and I told them if they did a good enough job we may go to the movie tomorrow after work so we shall see. It depends on how crazy it is tomorrow.

SOOO excited to almost be going on the trip although I will admit the weather and the crowd forecasts is a bit scary! Hope that it all turns out good!!
