I will be extremely busy for the next few days. It's our school's annual HUGE fundraiser this week. In 3 days time, we will sell over $150,00.00 dollars in steak sandwiches. We cut, season all the meat ourselves. We have a big booth at the Ag show in Tulare. 12 windows open with about 20 in each line during the rush. It's crazy. We always get on the news for our booth. Someday we are going to call the FoodNetwork about us. Anywhos, yours truly, along with another lady are in charge of all that money! I'm on my way now to help out with the cutting. Yesterday I sliced and diced a forklift full of onions! Now I have to go back and do another load. We grill them for the sandwiches. Yum. Our whole school shuts down for this event, so everyone can help. Gotta go!

LOL - Luke is doing great. He still has the black eye (kind of yellowy now) and growls at us whenever we hum the Rocky theme song around him (what kind of family would we be if we didn't rub it in, ya know?), but other than that he's super!

See my van stuck in the pretty snow that sparkles like diamonds. It took three tries but the third time was the charm and I got stuck but good.

See the nice man from down the road bring his tractor and scrape all the snow around the island and through the woods to dd's house, so that hopefully I won't get stuck again.

I just know that Raymond was in heaven today just shaking his head and laughing because he knows how I hate driving on snow.

I've been there and done that. It's not fun. But at least it was thoughtful of you to provide entertainment.

Dd's bf came and hooked me up to the suburban. So he is behind me and pulling me while I am in reverse and pushing the pedal. I was sliding everywhere, one time almost into a tree (which isn't hard since I live in the middle of nothing but trees) and he had to jerk me real hard to stop me from doing it. I was laughing so hard I almost wet myself (I might have, too nervous to notice or it froze one ).

Worse thing is we are supposed to get some more tomorrow. If it doesn't stop soon I will be coming naked because I haven't gotten my t-shirts yet or jammies or anything. Can we say procrastinator here. Of course I could just buy clothes when I get there and save on luggage.

Well I have some good news from me... My Mom got the job!!!

She starts in March after our trip and they offered her $1 more than orginally planned. She's SO happy and thanks all of you for the wonderful wishes.

Cheryl, I never had the pleasure of meeting Brandy, but I'm sorry to hear about her arm. And hang in there. Soon we'll all be together and we'll give you a big group hug!!

Well, the update is not good. She is having surgery Thursday to put 11 screws and a plate in her arm--she broke it in two places and tore three muscles. And she was DRIVING. She came by the office on her way from emergency to the ortho guy to show me her x-rays--driving a Hummer with one hand. She's crazy (but I love her to death). She was going to her boyfriend's work to drop off her Hummer and he was driving her from there.

Oh dear. I'm really sorry to hear that. Does she have help at home? I fear she will need it for a long while to come. Isn't it something to see how one fall can do such damage, and yet some people are in crazy accidents/stunts (like on Funniest Home videos!) and walk away fine. You just never know.

Trust me, I am beginning to think it is me. Nothing but negative stuff in my life recently. She is re-building her house and I guess was over there this morning. There was a lot of water around and she slipped on concrete/mud and tumbled down the hill.

Yeah, I think one of the Wendy's accidentally sent all her deep dark secrets to some stranger. I'd hate for someone else to do that!

Oh, and I agree with AmySue I remember having to show the card at check in otherwise they readjust the price of the room. Last year, I didn't need my card, and so mailed it to Sarah to use since she was arriving before her roommates. That worked out well for her I think.

Oh, and as far as the monkey bride goes, I thought Cristabel was teasing the other Divas by saying she is always there. I'm almost 99% positive she's only there during HMH. I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to ruin her joking. Last year this was discussed at length.

I'm also glad that there is trivia on the SH. I can do trivia from a bench! I can also do trivia while eating a funnel cake.

Still can't breathe well, I'm heading to bed soon.

Are all you ladies who want shocking and tasteless really sure about that.

I mean......the shirt uses a particular term that you may not like. I'll give you a hint: It's another word for cat.
(But that's the worst of it. The shirt doesn't have any bad words or nasty pictures. It's just the "idea" behind the shirt that's a little naughty. And after all, I would only wear it to the meet and greet party, where of course we're all adults of the female kind.)

Or, I could wear this other funny cat t-shirt. It's not tasteless or shocking, but it is pretty hilarious.

Or the idiot t-shirt is an option too.

I think you should layer them with the least offensive one on top. Then as you have a few drinks throughout the night you can take them off.
