I know it is, that's why I posted it for others to know about. I hadn't heard anyone mention it, sorry I was the bearer of bad news. I don't ride it, but I'm sure others were looking forward to it. I'm the most disappointed about the river being drained. I'm just not looking forward to the wall of fence and tarps.

I'm awake, breathing a little easier, DH is home from work again today. We are hoping to finally kick this thing soon. I am suppose to work tomorrow.

Those nainamo (sp?) bars look to die for. Amy I SHOULDN'T eat choc either cuz of my migraines, pretty much ALWAYS do me in, but I love it so and I eat it anyway. And those look YUM!!!! I figure it is worth the sacrifice once in awhile since pretty much EVERYTHING gives me a migraine anyway so why not enjoy myself whilst getting one eh? LOL

Oh and Linda I totally agree with you on how this trip to me and mom anyway is WAY more about the food and visiting than anything else. I was just mentioning to someone the other day that as far as I am concerned we could just as easily meet in the mountains or at the beach or even just at a hotel somewhere for all I care because it is the visiting and enjoying some nice meals that I really enjoy and just getting away from the rat race! Sure don't get me wrong I LOVE Disney but I come all the time with my family and have "been there done that" so it is seeing you guys that I truly enjoy. My kids keep asking me what rides I am going to ride etc and I told them last year I think mom and I only rode maybe 4 or 5 rides the entire trip. Don't get me wrong I LOVE rides but that is not what this particular trip is about for me. IF I ride rides great but if not it is no big deal to me. I just love to hang out with my divas and do whatever everyone else is doing. I think the meet and greet and the napa rose desert and sitting at the bar at GC and having drinks were some of my most fav times. Also some of the meals like Blue Bayou and Tratoria where we were able to just visit. So I am REALLY looking forward to that!!!

Oh and before I forget Courtney tell your mom CONGRATS!! That is great news!!!

Hopefully I didn't forget anyone! But if so big ((hugs)) to everyone and HI and whatever else everyone needs!!

I just have a date with my washing machine and am going to force myself to try and get the corp taxes done or at least work on them and then tonight Shelby has basketball practice and we have lots on TV. We tivoed heroes last night and so we have that plus AI and Lost.

Cheryl (or anyone else with ECV experience), how much are they now, and is the rental good for the whole day with receipt. I mean, can I leave in the afternoon to rest, and come back, show my receipt and get another one?

Hi girls!

Heather: I believe the in-park rental is now $55 a day--if you think you're going to need an ECV all the days you are there then I would really recommend renting from an offsite location which is probably $40 a day--the plus to that too is that you can ride it to and from your hotel (you're staying at Hojo's right? that is a LONG walk) If you do decide to rent in-park, then it is an all-day rental--they will hold it for you and keep it until you come back that day. The other potential issue with in-park rental is that once they run out in the morning that's it--no more rentals for the day unless someone (unlikely) turns one back in. Probably not an issue for you unless you aren't feeling well one morning and get to the park late. I really can't recommend the off-site rental option enough.

In an effort to keep things simple and not divide the work amongst too many people, I -- ummmm, I mean Dan will be printing out ALL the name tags. Nobody will be printing their own. I will be bringing them to the meet & greet where I will have people come see me (so I'm not running around like a crazed woman like last year), to get their name tags and/or lanyards. I will either set up a table just outside or just inside the party room, so you can grab your name tag/lanyard on your way into the party. Sound good?

Oh, and I agree with AmySue I remember having to show the card at check in otherwise they readjust the price of the room. Last year, I didn't need my card, and so mailed it to Sarah to use since she was arriving before her roommates. That worked out well for her I think.

Oh, and as far as the monkey bride goes, I thought Cristabel was teasing the other Divas by saying she is always there. I'm almost 99% positive she's only there during HMH. I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to ruin her joking. Last year this was discussed at length.

I'm also glad that there is trivia on the SH. I can do trivia from a bench! I can also do trivia while eating a funnel cake.

Still can't breathe well, I'm heading to bed soon.

I really should be in class right now but I did something my leg yesterday when I was exercising and it really hurts. Plus, I can miss this class without missing any assignments and I have friends in the class, too. I need to save up my pain threshold for sitting in ISDS (a computer class) and math (which is nearly two hours long).

I'll read the chapters she'll be going over so I don't miss anything.

Ok--it's official--Brandy sheared off her humerus bone. She is on the way to the orthopedic group now to determine whether it can be set or whether she needs to have surgery. Sigh.

Trust me, I am beginning to think it is me. Nothing but negative stuff in my life recently. She is re-building her house and I guess was over there this morning. There was a lot of water around and she slipped on concrete/mud and tumbled down the hill.

Well I have some good news from me... My Mom got the job!!!

She starts in March after our trip and they offered her $1 more than orginally planned. She's SO happy and thanks all of you for the wonderful wishes.

Sometimes I can't believe it either! And it was my Mom's idea to go eat Indian food!

Ah! That's out of my budget. I should ask my Mom to sew me some. WITH a flap in the back!

Well, the update is not good. She is having surgery Thursday to put 11 screws and a plate in her arm--she broke it in two places and tore three muscles. And she was DRIVING. She came by the office on her way from emergency to the ortho guy to show me her x-rays--driving a Hummer with one hand. She's crazy (but I love her to death). She was going to her boyfriend's work to drop off her Hummer and he was driving her from there.

That fall had to be bad. For those who haven't met her, it's not like she doesn't work out. Please give her my best wishes for an easy recovery.

So I volunteered at our local minature train show. I didn't realize that I signed up for tear down. It was probally quite the site seeing my chunky butt picking signs up from the side of the road and throwing them into the back of the truck and jumping back into the truck over and over, man I am out of shape! I so earned those ears!

I think you should layer them with the least offensive one on top. Then as you have a few drinks throughout the night you can take them off.

So remember when I cleaned out my garage? Somehow, some things ended up in our library room, turning that into a storage space that made it really hard to walk into. Last night I finally got DH to help me move a tv stand in the office that sat in the middle of the room with a tv and cable boxes. We put it against the wall and behind my desk.

So around midnight I got the urge to tackle the library (by myself). It was crazy, but I felt so good making space in the office, that I did it. Up until 3:30, but I found a few missing things, and now am happy when I open that door!

Stacielee, will check out those links - I might be interested but have to see what a gumball rally is!

Shirley, I love looking at that snow, but wouldn't know how to live in it.
