Girls Only~ OLD THREAD, new one linked in first post

Doris is good, she came home from the hospital today and insisted on going home. Like a true Diva we stopped at In N Out and got her a burger because she was done with hospital food! They still don't know what caused her sickness and 103 fever--the only thing the doc said was that her swollen ankle may have been the cause--but she is responding well to steroids and I just talked to her and she was getting ready to have ice cream.
!

That is really good news, Cheryl. Love that she wanted an In N Out burger!

Hi ladies: more "good" news from my front this morning.

My paralegal/best friend Brandy (some of you met her at Ms. Sally's party) fell down a hill this morning and might have broken her arm. She is getting it x-rayed now.

Okay, it must be you! How did she fall down a hill? I mean she wasn't skiing, right?

Courtney, you are unbelievable - I can't imagine how you ate after we saw you, and then ate again!!! You are like a size 2! Another example of how life is unfair!

I can't wait to meet the newcomers.. the trip is getting so close now.

I hope Brandy is ok.

I am happy to hear that your momma is doing better.

Oh man! Where do I buy one of these at?

Think if you have to go potty really bad! Yikes! :scared1: You have to take the arms off and everything!

Maybe there's a flap in the back!?! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

They are at pajamagram.com, but they are not cheap $68-$72 plus s&h! :scared1:

OH NO! I hope all is well, maybe she can find some hot man to wait on her hand and foot if it is broke. :thumbsup2

I went to the MD this morning, baby is good. I have a wheeze, and so have an inhaler now. If I'm not better by Friday, I'm to go back in, and if my breathing gets worse I'm to call. I haven't gained a pound since last month or I lost what I did gain this week being sick. So, I'm only up 4 pounds overall at 18 weeks. Not too shabby.

I'm getting sooo excited for the trip, and hope I'm back to normal by then.

Cheryl - I'm so happy to hear you mom is better and home from the hospital!

But poor Brandy! I hope her arm isn't broken. OUCH! :sad2:

Here Cheryl....you need the "Ultimate Pixie Dust Treatment". Hope it helps.

Good morning ladies! It's getting close!:cool1::cool1:

Patty - when do you arrive on Thursday? Are both our names on the HOJO reservations?
Trying to get things done today. On my to-do list is reserving my spot on Super Shuttle. For the ride from the airport to HOJO do you need to tell them a time? What time did you give them Stacie?
And Capri did we decide to do Super Shuttle for the way back to SNA to save some $$?

Gotta run to Target and then pick up kids. Will try to get back on to chat later.

Heather - I hope you get better soon girlfriend. That wheeze better SCRAM if it knows what's good for it!

Becci - I'm fine with doing Super Shuttle. If my flight leaves at 4:00pm, what time should I schedule a pick-up? I know I'll need to fudge around with my flight times so they don't pick me up too early. I was thinking about a 2:00pm pick-up time. What do you think?

Whomever is doing the lanyards (Stacie or Callie) - please print one up for me. :flower3:

Well, I'm not sure exactly what shirt to wear at the pajama party that really reflects my true trailer trash self. I could wear this one shirt that I think is freakin' hiliarious, but I'm pretty sure some of the ladies may find it, uhhhh, tasteless and shocking.

So I'm trying to decide....how low do I wanna go? (Low, as in class that is.) :scratchin

Ok--it's official--Brandy sheared off her humerus bone. She is on the way to the orthopedic group now to determine whether it can be set or whether she needs to have surgery. Sigh.

Okay, it must be you! How did she fall down a hill? I mean she wasn't skiing, right?

Trust me, I am beginning to think it is me. Nothing but negative stuff in my life recently. She is re-building her house and I guess was over there this morning. There was a lot of water around and she slipped on concrete/mud and tumbled down the hill.

Go for the trailer trash look--I'm going to need lots of laughs and lots of alcohol by the end of the month.

:rotfl2: :lmao: I didn't even think of that, but you are soooo right! You gonna get it? Maybe you and Courtney can get matching ones! :thumbsup2

Cheryl, I'm glad your Momma is better, and In N Out and ice cream sound like a great way to recover! :)

That is SOOOOO how I would want to recover!

Oh and can I get a nametag on cardstock too please? :flower3:

Thank you!

Oh Cheryl, I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds very "freak accident" doesn't it?
I hope she won't need surgery because that means more recovery time.

Callie or Stacie - can you print one up for me also? Thanks bunches! :)

Capri - I don't really know. I've never taken Super Shuttle - or flown into SNA either. Anyone have an expert opinion on that?

Just wanted to send hugs and pixie dust to Brandy and Cheryl.
When it rains, it pours. Don't know how much more I could endure.

And I am loving how we only have 17 more days!

Breezy finished our pillowcases (mine reflects my personality and tastes, and hers reflects hers) and let me just say I wish I could pick my own pillowcase at the M&G! I hope whoever ends up getting it likes it. :)

I get in at 1:30. Both names are on the room. When I called it will pull up by my name since it is under my card. The only issue with check in is that you have to show the entertainment card to get the discount at check in and our roon probally won't be ready until 2pm since I put in a specific room request since last stay we got room 1719 a disney view but last room and let me tell you it sounded like planes taking off all night but just thin walls next to the freeway. They do have a great luggage storage area we have used when the room hasn't been ready.

I feel bad that everyone is offering to share coffee/tea, helping with printing name tags, ironing on transfers and I have nothing to share. Anybody need anything from Canada?

Coffee Crisp please! And maybe an Arrow bar?

Hi everyone!!! I am getting so excited to go on this trip!!! I just can't wait!

I mentioned that you some of you are talking about doing a family trip to Seattle to hubby. He said that we should go to if the timing worked out. So, we might come all the way from Ohio to join in the fun!

I have got to start packing and making my list of stuff. I am thinking that I might actually try to do an iron on shirt.....I am so not a crafty person, but you guys are inspiring me!

Daisy

That would be great if you could come!

I would say different flavors of nanaimo bars, but I don't think they'd keep on the flight down. :(

FYI - I will likely be up in June for a work trip. Will keep people informed as would love to meet up with everyone (that are local or able) for dinner or something.

!!

Ohh I forgot about nanaimo bars...yum! Keep me updated on your plans and I will try to come down for dinner! How fun!

I went to the MD this morning, baby is good. I have a wheeze, and so have an inhaler now. If I'm not better by Friday, I'm to go back in, and if my breathing gets worse I'm to call. Am I the only one who let out a huge breath when she said the baby is good! Woo Hoo. sorry to hear about your weeze and great job on the low weight gain!

I have decided to sign my ds up for a soccer clinic. It is only 4 weeks long and the time fits into our schedule so it should be good. Plus if he doesn't like it he isn't committed for a huge amount of time.

Have a great day ladies...only 17 days to go! 400 hours on the nose till I am at the airport waiting for my flight!party::rainbow::jumping1::cheer2::dance3::thumbsup2

I just put in the arrival time of my flight. They're usually just sitting out there waiting for people anyways. Make sure you print out your confirmation so they don't have to go look for it, especially since it's prepaid; I wouldn't want to have to pay twice!

Callie or Stacie - can you print one up for me also? Thanks bunches! :)

Capri - I don't really know. I've never taken Super Shuttle - or flown into SNA either. Anyone have an expert opinion on that?

SNA, Orange County, is a great airport to fly into. Small and easy to find your way around. The SS vans are outside the baggage claim doors, just look for the blue vans.

I don't think we need to show an Entertainment card until we check out.

Did my give a day get a day volunteer work yesterday. I don't need the ticket but I want the ears and pins! Now I just have to wait for my voucher.

Kerri - if you know ahead of time (and it's not during the Vegas trip), then I would love to meet up for dinner in Seattle :thumbsup2 I think a mini meet for lunch/dinner what have you would work a lot better for me than a zoo or aquarium with the family day. My son would have no interest in that and I think it would be a little bit too hard to pull off.

My Dh's grandma makes the best Nanaimo bars, she always has some in the freezer for me when I visit:cloud9: I wish I could bring some to share

I love Nanaimo bars!! We usually make them at Christmas - yummy!

My paralegal/best friend Brandy (some of you met her at Ms. Sally's party) fell down a hill this morning and might have broken her arm. She is getting it x-rayed now.

I hope Brandy is okay and the recovery is not too bad......

I like tasteless and shocking :thumbsup2 My fave t-shirt for bed is a Happy Bunny one that says "Don't blame me - I was born awesome";) Of course, it's blinged out too, so very classy!

Go for the trailer trash look--I'm going to need lots of laughs and lots of alcohol by the end of the month.

We'll be there - and I'm sure the laughs and drinks will be plentiful :flower3:

Coffee Crisp please! And maybe an Arrow bar?

I'm bringing CoffeeCrisp and Aero bars for the candy buffet :woohoo: I'll make sure that you get some :thumbsup2

Thanks to Callie or Stacie for printing off the nametags :thumbsup2 Callie, I will remember to bring those Crocs for you.

Is everyone making a decoration/poster for their doors?? I have no idea what to do. I didn't do one last year.....

Sweet! Now I am ever MORE excited about the candy buffet! YUM!

So who's printing name tags again?
All I know is that I need one.

I hope everyone else is having a good Monday.
I've been watching Sonny With a Chance on Netflix since I don't have class until 2:30pm.

Adios!
