We never knew any girl scouts and weren't girl scouts growing up so we never got any pressure to order aside from the girls in front of the super market and we never bought from them because I don't support solicitation Idk, it just seemed they were being lazy by not actually going anywhere and just camping out in front of Stater Bros.

After selling popcorn at the stores with the boy scouts, I have a new respect! I couldn't believe how many people made donations because they knew and understood what the boy scouts are about. Any how, it is plenty of work to stand out in the cold asking for sales!
This year, as my husband and I are both doing ww, we bought cookies for the soldiers! Good Luck Michelle and Amy Sue.

Hello ladies,

I just wanted to tell you that our beloved dog Daisy of 11 years was killed yesterday by one of our trucks. She was getting on in years, and was somewhat deaf, and laying in the sun right in front of one of the trailer wheels. She didn't even hear the truck start up I guess.

Our other dog that we just got last month whose name is Bella, is so sad. She was going crazy looking all over for Daisy. She howled last night for her.
They're both beautiful Weimaraners. My oldest son also has one. Her name is Kate. When they were all here together we called them the Three Caballerros, or sometimes the Three Stooges.

Dave and I have been together for over 33 years, and Daisy was our best dog we've ever had. I am sad.

Mel, I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm about girl scout cookied out. Arizona did a trial run of having cookies on hand instead of ordering. We've had them since Jan 5th, and I've had many a cookie since then! My coworker who's selling them with her daughter says that it was a huge success. I know for me, I got more than I normally do because of instant gratification. Good luck with your sale AmySue!

I wish they'd sell them that way here in Calif. I have my order in and now I have to wait wait wait.

I highly recommend Tagalongs (shortbread with peanut butter on top covered in chocolate),

and Samoas (shortbread with caramel, coconut and chocolate).

Those are two of my favorites!!!

Thanks Katie! 6:30 sounds great; not too early or late and I can still get to bed by 10 so that I can hit the park before opening on Friday. I am planning to catch the 4:15 Aladdin show on Thursday since that is the only time I can fit it in the schedule while we are there. FYI it is not on the entertainment schedule Saturday or Sunday for some reason.

Good morning and happy Sunday!

Before I forget for those of you who go all the time do you know if you go in on Early Entry are any of the restaurants open like Riverbelle or CC? I would like to eat at one or both of those but with our schedule I don't see it working. I was thinking about Sat before the scavy hunt but didn't know if we would have enough time but IF it was open during early entry we could go BEFORE the park opens and eat and still be done in time for the photos. Plus I thought maybe Friday but I am assuming if park opens at 8 we need to book to PFF so anyone know either way?

And thanks so much Heather for the info on Red Box. I am DEF going to have to try that! We watched District 9 and the invention of Lying and they were both, well DIFFERENT let's just say that! Oh and 500 days of summer. All very bizarre to be sure but not terrible just different!

Anyway it is another gorgeous day and we are DEF going to church for sure today. Not sure after that. I wish I could go on a hike or a picnic or something. I have missed the sun!!

My aunt sent me an e-mail cuz she was wondering what the heck LOL. We have pretty much just been taking care of everything and my mom was going to just settle up with her when we saw her but we are going to HAVE to call her this week.

I am REALLY hoping to get our sweatshirts done and hopefully get the pillowcases done as well and maybe even our nametags! Then all we should have left to do is get the candy for the meet and greet. Did I miss anything???

Sara I feel bad that you have had such a big hassle about HOB and to be quite honest if it turns out to be too big of a hassle I would just as soon blow it off. I know mom is not going to want to spend any more than we already have since it is SO expensive to begin with so if you can't get anyone to buy the tickets I am fine with just cancelling. Whatever you decide is fine with me but if we need to spend any more money I know we are going to have to decline.

Hey from WDW! I haven't read back on the thread but wanted to check in! We are having a great time! We had booked a Garden View (standard) room at the Poly and was upgraded at check-in to a beautiful waterside Magic Kingdom view room! Our friends that met us here are 2 doors down!
We spent 12 hours at Epcot yesterday. Today we are DHS and will be going to DTD tonight. Tomorrow is AK and MK!

Falling asleep at my computer! Man, Aunt Flow is wearing out her welcome. Her partying is killing me I tell ya! It's like dealing with an annoying mother-in-law.....only worse. Plus she MADE me eat a maple bar and two M&M cookies. How dare she!!!

So sorry to hear you are not feeling well...and just so you know, I would have eaten one of those M & M cookies for you...you know...just to help you out and all!

Don't worry Kelly, Cristabel is going to help us out. I am sending her the money tomorrow and she will buy the tickets at the box office when she is there this weekend...at the originally decided upon price...I still can't believe they had the gall to try to charge so much more per ticket! It's crazy! I really appreciate Cristabel's helping us out!

I am really ready for this trip! And as weird as this is going to sound, I am really excited to be flying by myself! I used to love doing this. It is so peaceful to me. I get time to think and read and daydream with nothing else to have to be doing, no kids to be entertaining, etc. This hasn't happened for me in a long time and I am just thrilled! Now as long as the weather cooperates up here and my flight takes off on time we will be good to go!

Ok, I have to make a confession. Breezy is making both of our pillowcases. I am VERY uncreative and with work and everything, I really don't have time. She just called me from JoAnn's asking which ribbon, iron-on, etc she should get. So actually I am very excited to see "my" pillowcase that I am trading away!

Everyone is being so creative.....making their own pillowcases. I feel kind of bad. I just bought one and that's that. It's cute, but certainly not all that unique. I did get some fabric paint to embelish it, but EEEEEEK, I have no idea where to start or what to do.

So sorry to hear you are not feeling well...and just so you know, I would have eaten one of those M & M cookies for you...you know...just to help you out and all!

Awwwwww, such a sacrifice is the gesture of a true friend. I'm touched.

Yeah, I stepped on the scale a few days ago, and guess what? I weigh as much as I did when I was nine months pregnant - Yippee!!!

Maybe that explains all those creepy pregnant dreams I was having. My unconscious mind is telling me, "Girl, you're getting fat! That would be FAT.....not PHAT!"

Desperation calls for desperate measures.....we just joined our brand new northside YMCA (just opened a few months ago), and luckily we qualified for their scholorship program, so our monthly family membership fee is only $37. Too late to really make much of a change before the ladies trip, but definitely the right move to get back on track before I turn 40. Justin and I want to work out together in the mornings after we get the boys on the bus to school.

Thanks for the congrats. It was kinda of hard to say "no" to a family membership fee of $37 per month. We can work out, or take the boys swimming, or play basketball, or do a class, and all sorts of things. They have 2 pools and a lazy river, so there's plenty of choices for swimming. They even have a game room, with ping pong, video games, air hockey, pool, etc. I'm excited to get started!
