Looks like I finally broke 2000 posts after almost 9 years on the DIS. I have still managed to stay under the radar of the tag fairy, probably because I rarely say anything witty.

We have the Red Box here but I have never used it - we just use Netflix. It is so much more convenient for us because we can just load up the queue with the movies we want, even ones that haven't come out yet, and they just send us the next one on the list. Sometimes it is a few days before we have time to watch and we don't have to worry about it. Also, they have a lot of old hard to find movies which is great for us. We have the 3 at a time subscription and sometimes you can watch them online. I don't like watching them on the computer but Bryan does it sometimes.

Sarah- If you can't find anyone else to help with HOB, I'd be willing to do it. I don't have plans to go to Disneyland, but I'd make a sacrafice & go for you . But I would have to have the money first since I don't have the funds to buy them all right now. Just let me know.

Courtney- Hope your teeth are less sore & you are enjoying your dinner with your family .

I finished a lot of my errands today. Got tons more to do tomorrow though, but still want to be able to watch the game. I found my black shirt and sweatshirt for the pirate shirt so thats done.

Hello ladies,

I just wanted to tell you that our beloved dog Daisy of 11 years was killed yesterday by one of our trucks. She was getting on in years, and was somewhat deaf, and laying in the sun right in front of one of the trailer wheels. She didn't even hear the truck start up I guess.

Our other dog that we just got last month whose name is Bella, is so sad. She was going crazy looking all over for Daisy. She howled last night for her.
They're both beautiful Weimaraners. My oldest son also has one. Her name is Kate. When they were all here together we called them the Three Caballerros, or sometimes the Three Stooges.

Dave and I have been together for over 33 years, and Daisy was our best dog we've ever had. I am sad.

I am so sorry Melody!

I did my taxes last night, I'm so excited. I did this when I saw my refund.

Lucky! I don't even know if I'll get anything seeing as how I've barely worked.

Ok, here is the deal...I can't buy through the box office...only someone who is there at HOB in Disneyland can do it...otherwise we have to pay an additional $12.50 per ticket which I am not willing to do...is there anyone who will be in Disneyland in the near future who would buy these tickets if I sent them a check for the amount?

I just picked up my bunch of cookies from the "cookiemom". Any one who has any girl scout cookie needs...who I haven't already bugged, please PM me and I will bring your desired cookies to the meet!!!!

I hate selling things. I hate it, I do. I hate it in a box, I hate it with a fox, I hate it yesterday, I hate it everywhere. But, there is major pressure to sell sell sell this year.

We used to go door-to-door but it has gotten so dangerous that I think they tell you not to do it any more. They say sell to people you know and in public places. At least there are actual Girl Scouts at the store - when my kids would sell things for school I usually ended up getting orders at work and the kids never did anything.

Hey Stacie, I am feeling better too. I still suck, but had enough energy to get through my day. Yesterday I almost called work to say I couldn't work...but I don't get sick days, so if I don't work...I don't get paid. I worked 8-4 today...so I made it!!

Oh, Mel, I am so sorry you lost Daisy. Losing a friend is always so hard, and often a bit harder when that friend is a pet since they never lose their devotion to us.

I'm about girl scout cookied out. Arizona did a trial run of having cookies on hand instead of ordering. We've had them since Jan 5th, and I've had many a cookie since then! My coworker who's selling them with her daughter says that it was a huge success. I know for me, I got more than I normally do because of instant gratification. Good luck with your sale AmySue!

I highly recommend Tagalongs (shortbread with peanut butter on top covered in chocolate),

and Samoas (shortbread with caramel, coconut and chocolate).

Thin Mints--chocolate covered mint cookie

Tre-foils--think shortbread, lorna doone wannabe

Lemon Cremes--quite tasty lemon sandwich cookie

Dulche deleche-carmel flavored cookie with carmel flavored chips. QUite disgusting if you ask me.

Berry betters--little cookies with bits of cranberry and white chocolate bts

Do si dos--like a nutter butter peanut butter cookie, but the cookie part ight have some oatmeal in it as it is bumpier and less smooth.

Marty's sister came and rescued me from my bed and took be out for sandwiches and a movie. It did feel good to take a shower and get some fresh air. However, we saw When in Rome. Totally. Lame. Movie.

I don't really have that many posts for my ten years. And I've actually been on longer. They had a ginormous "crash" in 2000 and we all had to start over. I really came on in early 1999. I have been fairly blessed in the tag department, but in comes in waves. I don't think the TF has visited the DL part of the boards for a long, long time. I enjoyed our breakfast together and I think you are witty and funny and very nice. So there TF!

She just called me from JoAnn's asking which ribbon, iron-on, etc she should get. So actually I am very excited to see "my" pillowcase that I am trading away!
