Mom and I were talking about DW at lunch today. She had 2 weeks she has to use or lose and she extended them today. We are still trying to decide what to do and she really wants to do the cruise and so do I. We had talked about maybe doing a week in DW first and THEN doing the cruise but that is pretty spendy so don't know if that will work. Even using the timeshare it is the food that kills you plus the tickets etc. So I don't know what we are going to end up doing. She REALLY wants to do the cruise and don't get me wrong I have never done one and really want to but it is SO hard to go ALL the way to Orlando and be THAT close and then NOT go to DW. Esp since we only go every few years and at this point have NO plans to go back any time soon. I told her it is going to be REALLY hard to go there and be THAT close and not go! It is not that important to her so she doesn't "get it". So who knows. At this point I don't know if we will end up doing ANYTHING cuz obviously as usual it all hinges on money and since it is HER money it just depends on how well she does with her deals etc so I don't have much say anyway. At this point I will just be glad to go anywhere I guess LOL. I am glad that I get to at least get to go on the diva trip!!! I am SO excited and can't WAIT to see everyone! I am REALLY looking forward to this! Can't believe it is almost here!!!!

And the instructor asked if she could use my work as examples for future classes. I'm totally flattered.

OK, they think it's a GIRL!!!!! She's 80% sure, told me to save tags if I buy anything this week, and I'm going back next Thursday for a quick confirmation with a different tech.

My weeks, been crazy! We've had this bizarre, yet interesting weather...but I must say I'm glad its coming to an end! I can't remember the last time we had an entire week of rain and storms. I miss my Vit D therapy aka Mr Sunshine!! Today I've been in a major funk.......and finally let it just take over my whole day. Oh well....I felt a little better knowing it was pouring outside and I didn't want to be out in it anyway. A dear friend of our family has been in poor health for the last few months. She is my mom's best friend. She fell last weekend and has been in the hospital ever since. They told us Tuesday she would probably not live more then a day or 2. Today they moved her to a rehab/hospice facility and are taking it day by day, but her organs are failing and she's out of it more then anything. Its just so sad.
Then Parker had a seizure last night, after a few months reprieve of them Darnit...I was hoping his new meds were really helping. I didn't sleep well the rest of the night and then with all this thunder, lightening and crazy heavy rain off and on all night...I was exhausted when I had to get up! Oh well....there's always days like this and I keep reminding myself, it could be so much worse!
Tomorrow is a new day!

Hi ladies. I just got off the phone with my mom, who had just gotten the results from a biopsy during her colonoscopy. Turns out she has rectal cancer and will need to have surgery as soon as they can schedule it.

I have no idea when it will be, but wanted to let you know that if it is scheduled during the period around our trip, I may need to drop out. I need to go back to CO to be with my mom after the surgery. I'm the closest to her and she really views me as her comfort so I will need to be there for her during the immediate recovery period.

If you pray, would you please say a prayer for my momma? Her name is Jane.

Jane and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

First off, Callie, I posted this on FB but wanted to say again that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom.


I did read back, but that was about all I can remember reading. I hope everyone is doing well this weekend. Sounds like the sun is finally out for many of you. It was here and when I woke up the mountains were covered in snow. Such a pretty view from my bedroom window!!!

Noelle and I spent part of the day at the Las Vegas Women's Fair. It was free and they had lots of booths set up offering raffles, and all sorts of freebies.

They also had the Divas from the Frank Marino show there doing a sample show. We are going to see that as a group when some of the ladies come out in June. So here is a sneak peek for ya! (Oh, and I scored coupons for half off our tickets in June! YAY!!)

Good morning everyone.

Well, Luke had a fever last night and still has one this morning. I'm not sure what he has because other than a fever of 101.3, there doesn't seem to be much else wrong with him. He doesn't even really act sick. He looks a little glassy-eyed, but other than that, he seems fine. He hasn't eaten anything yet today though, so maybe he has a tummy ache. Anyway, hopefully it's nothing more than a teeny-tiny bug, and little Lukey-Duke will be better by tomorrow.

Hope he feels better.

Shirley~ As far as the Pirate Shirt, I'm pretty sure the small design goes on the front like where a pocket would be and the bigger one goes on the back.

About the t-shirt pirate design - I believe that the large design is supposed to go on the front of a t-shirt. However, if you're wearing a hoodie, the large design is supposed to go on the back, and the smaller design is supposed to go on the front.


My question is this: For those of us doing a hoodie, is the smaller design for the front supposed to go on the left or right side? (Left or right from the perspective of wearing the hoodie.....so if you had the hoodie on and looked down, would you see the smaller design on your left or right chesticle area?)

I am not making a tee so I can't help you there, but I see several have answered. I figure in pictures I'm always in the back so no one will know if I have the pirate tee on or not. LOL And it's hard for me to find clothes. Avenue is really the only place I can find tees I like. So I'll wear a black tee I already have and it will look like I am matching.

I don't know what I'm saving but I game.

Ah yes, my mistake. For what it's worth, the tour was really good, and you do get a lunch with it. I was glad to have taken it when we did.

Well....(I hate to be the one with a differing opinion!), but my shirt is not a typical men's style tshirt, and I think putting the designs on in 'a men's tshirt style' way will look silly on it. We've always had the large design on the front, and so I thought that's how we were doing it. Honestly, I don't care how others do it. I don't think it really matters if we're all exactly the same. I'm not making a hoodie either.

So, my point in short, is that I think each person should do it the way they think looks best, but that's just my opinion!

I did some looking around at Wal-Mart yesterday while I was getting my oil changed to make sure they had the type of candy I plan to buy and they did. Does anyone know when they put their holiday candy on sale? Is it the day of the holiday or the day after? I have literally seen people with their carts over flowing with candy the day after and I would hate to miss out on getting my one bag!

I plan to send off the meet and greet money wednesday! So glad that the trip is only a month away!
