IMO, no. :sad2: If I was to "splurge" on F!, I'd head over to Pooh's corner, buy myself a few decadent tidbits (for about $15 total) and then catch the second showing right after the first showing cleared. Easy peasy and saves you about $45.

Melody--I agree with Callie--I did it (and the electrical parade seating thing) once because I had my Mom with me and there was no way she was going to sit on the ground. (at least at the elect. parade seating you got a glass of wine!)

I have also heard that some people grab a table at the Riverbelle Terrace and that the view from there isn't bad either.

Do you think the second showing in May will be at 10:30?

That would be too late to wait for my Mom. That is why I'm even considering it..............because of her.

She will probably be on a ECV scooter. So if we wait it out for the first show, do you know where they will put us?

But I got a really cute Tink shirt, so all wasn't bad. :hyper:

You sure did! I saw it in a window display at one of the stores at the GCH and thought, "hey, Melody has that shirt!" It was super cute and sparkly! :upsidedow

Ooohh wowowowow.. great weather..i can't wait to tell my husband..and he just drove up!

Amy and Melissa travel safe!

Melody.. Biggest Hugs for YoU!

CheryL..Thanks for all the info!!:grouphug:

I had thought about that.............but I didn't know if they clear you out for paying eating guests. I guess you could just keep on getting more food, to make it look good. :lmao:

I know that we all have our different beliefs, but I have to share this.

I have been stressing today over finding an extra $2000 to get Nathan officially evaluated with one of the top developmental peds in the country. I hae reworked my budget 4 times (including taking the trip out. :guilty: ) and the earliest I could come up with the extra money was April. :sad2:

The office just called, and our insurance will cover the appointment with my $30 copay. :cheer2:

I really feel like God has answered this prayer. I just need some answers, and need to talk to someone who has some.

Today is my little man's birthday. We sent a card into sprout, but did not see it this morning. I'm hoping it will be on tonight.

Talk with you all later! :wave2:

That IS an answer to prayer!:cool1: Our insurance covers my sons seeing the Developmental Pediatrician also even though she is "out of their network". The catch for us is there isn't one within 50 miles of our address "in network"! That is when it is helpful to live in the far far eastern bay area!:)
Congrats! And Happy birthday to your son!

Heather,

I feel He did too!

I'm so happy for you and your family. What a relief and blessing to be able to go forward now, and start getting the answers you have been waiting for.

That's what I'd do--keep sharing a meal every hour or so . . . . .

I was wondering if you, or any others here on our thread have ever heard about getting DL tickets for $29.00 for children with disabilities? I believe if you do qualify, you can have 6-8 per family? One of my really good friends just went to DL, and they only paid that amount.

I believe there is a catch though. You have to go certain times of the year, and once you order them, they have to be used by the time period allowed.

So has anybody heard of this? It's a wonderful deal if it could be worked out.

Heather Happy Birthday to your little one and congrats on qualifying for the specialist and good luck!!

Ok question, I got an e-mail back from my friend and she wants to come on Saturday the 7th but her dh just got laid off so she was asking about money wise how much everything is going to cost.

First off how much does the character breakfast cost for those that know?

I told her since she is driving up that morning if it is too spendy she may want to skip that since it is so early as well and just meet us afterwards. Since we are doing the scavenger hunt what time do you think would be a safe time to tell her we'd be done with breakfast if she wants to skip the meal? Ideas?

Also do you think it is possible she could get a guest pass for the day to park at Hojo since we don't have a car? Like maybe she could use our space since mom and I don't have a car for our room just for the day? Do they do stuff like that? I thought that would save her the parking fee.

Then I told her we could do a cheap counter service lunch and an inexpensive dinner as well. What do you think?

She said if the day would cost her several hundred it would be out of the question but do you think if she skips the character meal and parks at hojo that it would be fairly cheap for her if all she has to buy is a 1 day ticket and lunch and dinner?

Thanks for any help.

No! I have never heard about it but am interested in any details! That is an awesome deal! Of course, we just got my son an AP on our last visit earlier this month.

Sprout is a PBS based children's tv station. They celebrate birthdays everyday, and Nathan loves the sqeaking chicken that does it. If you send in a card they might show it during their birthday spot. I just thought it would be fun for him to see himself on the tv.

PBS Sprout is a cable channel that's like "preschool on TV". It's a staple 'round here, I can't even tell you what E has learned from it he's learned so much. :)

They have a show that you can send cards into, and then the greetings run on the bottom of the screen, with some of them being chosen by the host to read out loud. I tried it once but was too late, and hubby and son emailed a mother's day greeting in for me but then forgot, and I only found out about it too late!
