Holy moly January! I take it you'll be checking your bag.....or do you have a magical carryon that'll hold all that?!:goodvibes

This was my WDW list...I think I need to condense.:rotfl2: Although, most of the stuff is itty-bitty...I will just have to do some creative mashing, cramming, and shoving.

The quarters are to wash my clothes.:laundy:
The stuff highlighted was stuff I was thinking of having shipped.

Midwives, She's Come Undone, The Other Bolelyn Sister, hmmm..these are all books I have read recently. I thought they were all good. She's Come Undone was my favorite. It was just a really well written book. My DH got me The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I liked the Twilight books, so he thought I would like this one too. I read the first two chapters and it seems pretty good.

I want to have something fun to read on the plane! I will probably end up having to read one of my text books.

:hyper: I used to love those beds when I was little. It might be a little wierd experiencing them now...knowing what I know...and with Callie and Stacie there!

You're planning on washing clothes! I'm just going to turn my underwear inside out! :rotfl:

I think sort of like Twilight, right? Adolescents, or the "adolescent minded":rotfl2: My son is 12, but is a pretty advanced reader.

The basic premis is that a group of teens are chosen to help develope an online game and then reality and fantasy cross together, and they have to save the park. It is set in Magic Kingdom, but that is all I know until Feb. 14th. I plan on reading it while I save the spot for the family for fireworks. Any suggestions on time and/or location? I was thinking near the partners statue benches, but family will need to go and come back. Will that work?

Kendall is reading these books. She already read Kingdom Keepers about a year ago, but we just got the second book, so she is re-reading the first book again before starting the second. From Kendall:

It's about 5 kids who become DHI's (Disney Hosts Interactive -- hologram versions of themselves) to lead people around the park. When they fall asleep they turn into their DHI's but they are half human/half hologram and have the run of the parks at night. All of the villians are called the Overtakers. Malificent is the top villian and needs to be defeated by the kids.

Hope that doesn't give too much away. She says it's a great book for Disney/WDW fans since the setting is in the Florida park.

Kewl! Have to get these.

Me too!!! I've been drooling over this and dreaming about chocolate all day long ::yes:: Not the best when you're trying to diet!

Sigh--me too. The candy cane I dredged from my desk is just NOT doing it.

I loved them too. Dad always stayed at Motel 6 when we traveled (even for Disneyland, if I recall correctly) and they tended to have them. We thought they were great fun. I can only imagine what his thoughts were as brother and I giggled away (but I think they went something like "ewwwwwwww").

Speaking of sparklies, when I first came around these parts, someone mentioned have a table set up at the pizza party for us to sit and bling up our shirts. Any thoughts on this? Would anyone be interested?
I plan on bringing the sparkle paint I used. I might have some rhinestones left too. I'm not sure yet.

Does that help?

I wish I had time to respond to everyone. I barely read and caught up. I need to go and practice for praise team at church.

See you all!!

Just another slow and boring day here on the boards from what I can see:rotfl2:

Most of y'all probably would have hated me in high school (who knows, you may hate me as an adult too ;) !) I was one of the good kids--top 10% of the class, National Honor Society and Latin Club officer, on the state board for Key Club (like Kiwanis for high schoolers), swim team, helped found Eco-Club, Girl's State and other honors programs in the summer. I had fun, but definitely not the same kind of fun many of you had :goodvibes From his stories Dave was totally a good kid in high school too.

We could be in REAL trouble when it comes to parenting Ty. For example, the what i did today form from school today stated the following "Ty is teaching his friends how to go down the slife face first. Today they all took turns doing it. He's quite the leader." Is it just me, or is this a harbinger of things to come???

WOW!! You are good!!

I received my B.A. from Eastern, but I'm doing Western Governor's University online teacher certification program. It looks like a very involved program, but I'm excited to learn all I can.:cool1:

I have a few friends who have gone through WGU.
I have heard its really good.

Does anyone have any good book recommendations?? I know I will have my trashy magazines for the flight
If you have trashy magazines, what more do you need?? :confused3

Here in Washington, they have busted two puppy mills, taking custody of over 250 pregnant dogs, and are expecting to have 1500 puppies born in the next month or so. Isn't that heartbreaking. We got a rescue lab/mix one year ago and she is such a wonderful dog.
LOVE the designs!!
That is so sad about all those puppies. :sad2:

Hubby woke up for work and was promptly sick, so stayed home.
Hope he feels better soon!

Hey, you pack almost as much stuff as I do!! LOL
Gee, between you and I, looks like poor Capri is going to have to make due with the balcony. :rotfl2:

By the way, what are the quarters for? Do those new beds at the HOJO do something that I don't know about?;)
Do they?? Huh? Huh? Do they? :hyper:

Cool, January is doing laundry. I'll leave mine by the door for you, roomie. :thumbsup2 ;)
Mine too! :thumbsup2

Heather, sorry I missed your earlier post, the one Melody was responding to.

I'm not sure if that's still part of the plan or not. :confused3 Decorating tees might be a bit much with all the eating, drinking, tote bags, candy bag filling, and what not going on. But that's just my two cents. :confused3

We had also talked about making posters to decorate our hotel doors with and I'm not sure that's still going to happen or not. I mean, we can still put stuff up, but I'm not sure if we should just plan to bring it premade or make them there. :confused3

Either the balcony, or I may be sleeping on the rollaway in the hall. :crowded:

Awww, look how cute you are........snoring........in the hallway....... :p

Well, now that we are down to one computer I guess I need to learn to share, so I'm signing off and letting my husband check his email at least. lol Later.

I think it shows the true signs of a mover and shaker--President Ty, here we come!

I agree. It's better to be a leader instead than a follower. Rather than follow some of his friends down a path of teenage naughtiness, perhaps he'll lead them down a path of proud accomplishment.:thumbsup2 ::yes::
