I'm home!!! I survived. Well, at least so far. LOL
It didn't take long at all. Less then 15 minutes for him to pull both teeth, put in some synthetic bone and suture me up. Now I'm stuffed full of guaze and still numb.

I'm sure once the numbness wears off I'll be screaming bloody murder. But for now, I'm ok. Tired. It was mentally draining being so tense and stressed out about it for days (weeks?). Now I'm just praying I don't get dry socket as I've heard the pain from that is excruciating.

Anyway, just checking in. Thanks again for the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. Now just keep fingers crossed for me that it heals properly. I go back in a week to have the stitched removed.

Talk to y'all later. I'm gonna chill with a movie! :happytv: No comedies though, my mouth can't handle the laughing!! ;)

So glad everything went OK!! :goodvibes
Hope you're all better soon. Meanwhile, let everyone take care of you.

Hello ladies !

It's been awhile since I've posted, but I wanted to at least check in real quick and let you all know that my new DD was born on 12/29/08  . She was a little late, but at least she was born before the end of the year for a tax deduction .

Her name is Laila and as soon as I have another free minute, I'll post a picture.

I didn't read all the older posts so I hope everyone is doing well so far in the new year :grouphug:.

I'll talk to you all later :)!

CONGRATULATIONS!!
I can't wait to see a picture.
Hope you are both doing very very well.

I haven't looked at the pre-trip link, but am I the only one kinda hoping Beth DOES type while woozy? :p

:lmao: Guess what? I feel asleep!! :rotfl: Not off to a great start when I'm snoozing instead of typing. :rotfl2:

Which sparks a memory of pulling an all nighter in college, packing for my flight that was after my last final, and in one of my finals, I kept falling asleep *while writing*. And I was starting to dream immediately, and then was writing my dreams. On my test paper. :scared:

Thankfully the teacher wanted the tests done in pencil (weird, eh?) but gosh do I wish we could have kept those test papers to see the ghost of what I had written and erased!

So sleep-typing could be interesting too.

Or a picture of your forehead if you fell asleep ON the keyboard.

Oh yeah, mine's been a blast. :lmao: So, how was Disney?? :hyper:

We had a lot of fun. Meet up with Cheryl, Wendy, Melody, Stacie and her daughter Alison right after the park opened. We rode a ton of rides, and always had a fast pass in hand. It was really hot today. Crowds weren't bad in the morning and afternoon time. Walk on or very short waits. It got more crowded as the day went on. We were able to go on everything we wanted to. It was fun just being in the parks with them too though. By the end of the day though the crowds were really bad. And I was ready to go. Too bad more ladies couldn't join us today. Made us wish for March to get here soon.

Hi everyone--I see that Stacie checked in so she apparently made it home safe and sound.

We had (well, at least I had!) a really good time today. The weather was beautiful--though maybe a little warm--and the crowds weren't too bad while I was there. We got there pretty much at 8 a.m. (I got a little stuck in Mickey & Friends, so it was probably 8:15) but by the time I had gotten through the gate Stacerita was waiting for me and Stacielee had already been to City Hall and gotten her birthday gift card! They wanted Space Mountain fastpasses, so while they got those, Stacerita and I went back into City Hall so I could get a GAC pass for stairs. I wasn't renting a scooter today--I try to only do that for multiple day trips.

We then met up with Stacielee, her daughter, Wendy and Melody at Buzz and went for a ride. (Wendy totally snookered me--"are you very good?" she innocently asked. "No" I replied. "Oh, then I'll ride with you." And then off course she hit a couple of big targets and got a MUCH better score than me!!!!)

Then most went on Star Tours while Stacerita and I "walked through" and took the chicken exit. (I do ride this, but last time I got a little woozy and just wasn't in the mood.) Then they went on the Matterhorn and Space Mountain. They were worried that I wasn't riding rides--I tried to tell them that I just enjoy being at DL with friends! Next we went on Pirates--5 minutes wait. then on Winnie the Pooh. By then it was 11 a.m. or so and we were hungry so we went to Riverbelle Terrace for breakfast (yummy). Except for Melody who had a Dole Whip instead!

We next walked back along Big Thunder Trail so they could get fastpasses and into Fantasyland and did the Sleeping Beauty walkthrough. (Slowly.) When we came out the Evil Queen from Snow White was outside and Stacielee and Wendy took a pic together (the birthday girls!). Next we went to check out Pixie Hollow but it was an hour wait so we decided to wait until the Girls' Trip (and go early).

Then we jumped on the train at Tomorrowland and rode all the way around once and then to Main Street again. Got off and went over to DCA. We were going to get fastpasses for Soarin, but the return time was almost 4 p.m. Melody did get one for her and her hubby (using my pass) because I decided at that point I was tired and my feet were hurting. :crazy2: So I left around 1:30 or so. don't have a report past that, but Stacielee and her daughter aren't back yet. Wendy was driving home tonight to NoCal--hope she's left already!

Beth I'm glad you're feeling better. I've subscribed to the pre-trip report but haven't read it yet!

Sounds like you all had a great time. It was warm here today so I can only imagine how warm it was down there.

Beth I've subscribed to your trip report thread. I hope you're still feeling well.

I hope that you all had a great weekend. Yesterday all I did was clean the house and did about 7 loads of laundry. My oldest daughter went to a Girl Scout Cookie Rally. She had a nice time and now we just have to wait until we're allowed to sell cookies (Saturday). I still don't know what her goal is though.

This morning I slept in (645) for me anyway. Well I realize that dh is already up, so I'm feeling very appreciative cause that means he got up with the kids and kept them quiet so I could sleep. Well I get to the living room and see my youngest watching Noggin but don't see my girls (turns out they were still asleep) and then I see my husband asleep on the other couch. It seems he couldn't sleep last night and was tossing and turning ... he didn't want to wake me up so he got up sometime in the middle of the night and when he heard our son wake up he just got him from his room and brought him to the living room. I'm not sure what's up with Josh (my husband) but after I got to the living room I told him to go lay down if he wasn't feeling well. He ended up sleeping/relaxing (more sleep than anything) until about 330 this afternoon. He got up for a little bit (about 2 hours) and then went back to lay down (that's where he is now). All the kids are in bed and I'm feeling weird in a house that is completely quiet. Sorry for rambling.

Hope you all have a nice evening.

Hey, just wondering...where on earth is Kelly? Hope everything is ok.

I know. I hope everything is alright with her and her family. They have been through so much. to Kelly and your family.

It is weird being in the house when it's totally quiet. I don't like it sometimes.
I hope Josh isn't getting sick! That would not be good.

I think she's ok. Just dealing with a lot right now. I'm sure she appreciates all thoughts and well wishes. :)

Cheryl and Stacie,
Sounds like you both had a fun day. Why is it so hot in January??? Ick. But just being there and meeting up is still fun. I'm glad y'all got to do it. Anyone take any pics to share??

I'm so hungry!!!!! I hate this. How do people on Survivor do it?? :lmao:

It doesn't help that my inlaws are in town and keep bringing food over. My MIL took Ruben to Costco today and she bought us over $200 worth of food for the house. So I was putting it all away and wanting to eat it all. Then she bought a pie from Marie Calendars.

Oh! And get this, last night they went to a restaurant at one of the casinos and bought these eclairs that look heavenly. They are a foot long and $11 each! She got two of them for the kids to share. OMG, I wanted to try it so bad, but it's not worth hurting my mouth over.

Tonight they are staying at the Wynn and I am so jealous. I want to be out eating, partying on the Strip and having fun.

Well, I need to get my kids in bed. Glad there is no school tomorrow. Then Ruben and I are going to watch Pineapple Express. See Kelly, we need you here since you are the movie queen! I have no clue what it's even about.

Oh well. Later ladies! (I like Callie's "Later taters" better. haha)

Pineapple Express is about a stoner & his dealer running from the cops.
