Arrrgh!! The DIS is soooooooooooooooo slow right now. I finally had time to catch up, and it's taking forever. I decided just to wait, and hopefully I will have time tomorrow before we leave for DL.

Beth, I did read enough to see about your horrible dentist appointment today. that stinks big time.

And you have to come this time lady. We will take up a collection to help you out. You have gone through so much blood, sweat and tears. And without you, these last 2 trips wouldn't have ever happened. You have gone through so much work to keep track of all of us. And you are always so nice to us.

I don't think it sounds mean. Like I said we have to cut the lists off at some point and I think now is a good time.
We've been lucky enough to have some more ladies join and every single person on the front page has received a PM from me to confirm their attendance and I've posted in the title that dining reservations were being made, so it's time.

I don't think it is mean. People know that the trip is very close. If they were still interested, they would at least check the thread. I think it is very nice of you ladies to step up and take over some of the planning.

Well, girls I'm sorta ready for company. all of the Christmas stuff is not put away, but I did get the Valentine's tablecloth on the dining room table--LOL. I'm sure my houseguests will understand . . . .

I'm very excited to see Stacie and Wendy tomorrow! And Stacerita and Melody on Sunday!

You know it doesn't matter how your house looks, you could live in a dirty shack and we would still come visit you!! However, my house is a mess. I always feel guilty when I have to leave DH home and the house is not picked up, so that's what I've been trying to get done... I still have a few hours today... guess I better pack though!

DD and I were going to play it by ear on Saturday, not sure what time Wendy wants to go so I'll have to kick her rear end out of bed in the morning to get her moving!!! Hopefully we're not like this waiting for her!!! (just had to use that one)

We can let you know tonight when we all get to Cheryl's.

Oh, one more thing, if possible, can Heather and I be added to Ariel's? I know it's last minute, and it will depend on if our plane is on time... Please??? With a churro on top??? And a red bull if needed.

I was supposed to be gone by now to take my Sis to the train, but it is super bad foggy here. So now I'm playing the waiting game for the fog to lift. This kind of fog is extremely dangerous. Right now the cops are pacing traffic on the freeway.

Well I had better get going. Now I have time to finish packing. Man is my morning messed up!!

I have to work the weekend though. This thread is moving so fast right now, and I'd love to comment on everything and to everyone, but am overwhelmed by missing two days. Sorry!

I am a dork, and didn't realize that the Ariel's you all were talking about was for the trip in March. She PM'd me yesterday, and I was like 'Heck yeah I want to go.' With all the talk lately about the mini meet htis weekend, I was skimming through posts and thought the Ariel's lunch was for this weekend. I' offering churros to those that can get us in to go witht the Red Bull's Stacie's bringing. Thanks!

I am trying to decide what to do for my children's b-days (Jan 29th and Feb 1st) We are moving on the 2nd, and the house is tore up. They are too little for Chuck E Cheese or anything like that. They love the zoo here in Tucson, and I'm thinking of taking them to the Zoo in Phoenix in order to do something special. We can do cake when we get home. (I have to get pics of Nolan digging into his first cake!) We don't have any family here in AZ so it will just be us chickens.

When my DH get through with work, we are driving to ruidosa, new mexico for the weekend. Today I'm going to pick up some wine, olives, cheeses and deli meats with crusty bread for our getaway. Simple and yummy.. I can't wait to chillax! We are going to sit and watch the deer.

Yes, that fog is scary stuff. I've been through it before visiting my mom when she used to live in Hanford. It's nasty stuff.

And for more of the Cricket saga (in case anyone is interested) . . .

I talked with Kendall's agility teacher late last night who had made some amazing and miraculous connections and actually located Cricket's breeder! We found out that Cricket's litter-mate runs agility and we will get to talk with the handler/owner tomorrow. I've already emailed the breeder and have found out that Cricket was groomed for a year to be a show dog, then she was sold and kept for 5 months where she may have been abused by the man in the house.

She obviously has a lot to overcome, but we are encouraged at her potential and the possibility of learning more about her history. In the meantime we are showering her with love and affection and trying our best to make her feel confident and secure here with us.

Ok, I gotta get off the puter. I'll try to catch up more later.
