Beth - I'm sorry to hear about your dental issues. Hopefully it will be straighforward and easier than you expect. Did they give you antibiotics for the infection at least??

I'm not overly fond of dentists either, but I might make an exception if there was a mani/pedi and some dreamy eye candy with a British accent!

Good afternoon all! After just deciding earlier this week that I need to join this fun group I booked a room at the HOJO for Thur - Sat (3 nights). Now, if all possible, I'd like to find a roommate!
Is there anyone else looking for a roommate?? I promise I won't bite! :lmao:
PM me if you are interested!
Thanks! :)
Hi Becci, you might have missed it, but jordansmomma/Debra replied to your earlier post about needing a roomie.
She had one, but we haven't heard from her in awhile and we aren't sure if she's still going on the trip. So anyway, you might want to try PMing her and see if she's interested. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I appreciate it. :goodvibes I guess time will tell how it's all going to play out.

Will send her a PM right now! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Cheryl, Wendy, Stacie, Stacie, Melody and anyone else who was meeting up at Disneyland this weekend, in case I don't catch you before you go, I hope you all have a wonderful time!!
:tinker: :donald: :dumbo: :tigger: :goofy: :mickeyjum

And Stacie, your character breakfast is now up to 32! Are you going to call (or did you already) to increase the reservation? Let me know if there's anything I can do. If they give you any hassle or whatever, maybe I can just call and make a separate reservation.

Well, get ready for more! LOL Can you please add myself, Amy and Jane to the list for Ariel's. We are riding up in Amy's car and should be at the parks in time for lunch. :thumbsup2 Thanks!!

Why don't you PM me or post the list and that way I can add it to the front page, and I'll make note of it in the schedule. :)

:grouphug:

The list is longer than 32. I am waiting till tomorrow to give him the final count. And then it will be final.

My mom and I are wanting to do Storytellers too, so that makes 34.

I got you guys counted. No worries.

Perfect!! PM sent. I just called and they had either 12:40 or 2:00 p.m. available. I said 2:00 p.m. just to be on the safe side, but if anyone prefers 12:40, let me know and I'll change that. I'm fine with either time because I'll be there already....

That's fine with me. I will just eat a heartier breakfast is all. Plus, gives more time for fun in the parks before I eat lunch.

Ideally, I would like to fly in and out of Long Beach but I cannot afford it at the moment. I am hoping the cost of flights go down soon. That is what I am waiting for.

Queenbillabong----Could you add me to the list for Ariels? I am hoping to be flying out on Thurs morning. :thumbsup2

Wooohoooo, more for Ariel's!

Well, I'm back from the dentist. They didn't do the crown. Why? Well, turns out because of the crack in the tooth it allowed it to get infected and now it needs to be pulled along with the other two. So now I've got to have THREE extractions.
Two this Saturday and who knows when I'll be able to do the other one. So I'll have a bunch of teeth missing on the bottom, which means I'm definitely going to need a partial. Who knows when I'm going to have the time and money to start getting fitted for that. Sometime after all the extractions heal I suppose.

The hassles, pain and bills just keep adding up. :sad1: I just hope I'm still able to go on the trip. I guess I'll have to wait and see at this point. :guilty:

Anyway, it is what it is. I can't do anything about it. I'm pretty much in a funk right now though.
Oh well, don't want to be a downer so I'm gonna go take a nap! Have a good afternoon everyone! :)

Bummer. Sorry to hear about that Beth. Don't worry about it too much though. It will all work out how it is supposed to. Get out of the funk though. We got some planning to take care of.

Beth:

I thought of you this morning--on the morning news they had a feature on a combo dentist's/spa office. You could get a mani-pedi while they worked on your teeth. And the dentist was a tall, dark drink of water with a British accent. Can we say "dreamy"? Sigh. He could give me a root canal anytime!
Sorry about your mouth issues--hoping it doesn't turn out to be as bad as you are anticipating.

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Ditto! I'm a little jealous that you'll all be having fun with the mouse while I'm on a retreat with fraternity boys (not as much fun as it initially sounds like), but I hope you have a great time!

Beth - :headache:  I'm sorry. I hate dental visits and expenses. I go Tuesday for my crown. Ugh, wish I could put it off longer, but I can't. I hope Saturday is surprisingly easy for you. :goodvibes

To the ladies going this weekend -- HAVE FUN! :dance3:

It was 78 degrees here today. Really warm for January. Hope it cools back down soon.

I take Cricket to the vet tomorrow to see if she has health issues (we're guessing bladder problems in addition to just being slightly psychotic). We have another 10 days to decide for sure if we're going to keep her. Right now it's looking not so good.

Later taters!

Hi Ladies!
I was just scrolling through the first page of posts and saw the information about the Tink shirts. Is that something everyone is getting to wear? Does anybody know how long it takes to get one from Zazzle? And I read that there sizing runs small - how small?
TIA!

These are shirts that everyone is either going to order from Zazzle (like I did :thumbsup2) or print the one from the first page and make an iron on transfer (which is entirely too tricky for me to attempt).

There are different shirt styles at Zazzle, so you can pick one that looks good to you. The descriptions tell you if they run small or whatnot (it'll say it typically runs small, order 1-2 sizes larger, etc.). They are pretty quick in delivery. Most people get them within a couple of days. It's a bit longer for me in Canada, about 7 days, but I refuse to pay more for shipping than for the shirt

Oh no. Is that the Sheltie?

Sorry to hear that.

Beth - you ARE going with us on this trip and I don't want to hear another word about it! Do you hear me young lady!?!:upsidedow

Oh no. Is that the Sheltie?

Yep. It's so hard. She's a really sweet girl, but the sole purpose for us getting her is because dd needs an agility dog. Well, Cricket is so freaked out by every little noise and refuses to even walk down our street while on lead. It would be a really long road to train her to be much more than a lap dog, and we already have one of those. Add that to the fact that she potentially has chronic cystitis issues which would require an expensive prescription diet and supplements . . . well, I'm sure you see the dilemma.

Time to go home already?!?! Booooo!!

I don't log on for a couple days and you plan another lunch and a Fantasmic party!!!
Wow!

Ok, I want in on the fantasmic party...I am doing the scavenger hunt and the walk in walts footsteps tour that day...I will be ready to sit for awhile!

I am going to give some thought to the Ariel's meal....when do I have to have my decision in on that by?

Ok, so I started a cake decorating class yesterday...I had nooooo idea how much STUFF you have to have to decorate an 8" cake...I mean come on! 20 + tips and bags and boards and a lazy susan and ingredients for frosting and spatulas and coloring and mixer and bowls...to name just some of the supplies! My dmil decorates cakes so I may be able to borrow some of the items from her. We are supposed to bring a frosted cake with us to class each week so the people at work are going to be eating a lot of cake in the next 3 weeks....espeically because we all work together. Luckily I am in a different department!

SArah

Ok, toiletry items...anyone have a link to what is allowed in a carry on these days?

Thanks for the info! (The iron transfer sounds too tricky for me also! Crafty I am NOT! :lmao: ) I will check out the Zazzle ordering later tonight after kids are in bed. And if I have any questions, I know where to ask! :)
