Remember, F! has been redone and is so much better than it used to be. Some don't like changes, but I do! Great idea about the blankets in the stroller, Beth. Since I'm pretty much following you all day (Sat), I'll bring one, too. Can't have too many blankets, that ground is cold and hard.

I've been fooling around with some pictures, pretty much wasting my time when I'm supposed to be working on our budget AND I added a new ticker!!

These are pictures of my new niece. My DB and SIL are in China through tomorrow, isn't she just SO adorable!!!

I would like to leave around 2, but it depends on whether or not Allyson can miss her science class; she's supposed to ask today what they will be doing on Friday. What time is Wendy going to be there? If I can leave by 2 (AZ time), I should be there between 6-7 (CA time), so if it's not too late, we could meet somewhere for dinner. Good thing we pick up an hour!! I'll let you know as soon as Allyson lets me know.

I'd love to go to Ariel's with you guys! But sadly, I don't even know how I am getting to Disney at this point. I don't fly, so I suppose that leaves the bus in which case I won't get in until late Thursday night. I'm not even sure I'll make the Meet and Greet. Maybe the tail end of it.
Oh well, have fun! Ariel's is great.

Thanks! It usually works well for us. It's a free stroller and who's going to steal blankets, kwim? So we can pile them on, park the stroller somewhere, and not worry about them until we need them.

That ground is cold and hard. I've seen so many people try to sit on maps, purses, souvenir bags, etc so they don't have to sit on the ground. I love sitting there kicking it on my nice, warm blanket. Should've come prepared people....

And I loved seeing Mount Rushmore. We were there at night for the lighting ceremony and it was so touching when they had all the military (past and present) in the audience come up and pass around the folded flag.

I found out that there is a "traveling" Disneyland outlet store in Lancaster (the next city over). My mom went last night and said they have stuff for way cheap. 50th Anniversary Mickey Ears hats for $1.00, shirts fro $3.00. I'm going to go on my lunch break. They are only there till the 8th of Februray.

Awwwww! So cute! One time I was in a mall in Salt Lake and a couple was getting pics of their little girl (also Chinese) she had a red little Chinese jacket on and really looked like a little doll.

But I will probably have to rent a car if I drive since I will need to leave our mini-van with my sister for her to shuttle my kids around everywhere! What airport is the easiest/cheapest when coming from the Bay Area?

That's why I can't drive our mini van. I need to leave it with my husband so he can drive the kids around. We have four kids and they won't all fit in his Jeep.

You should fly - there are great deals. I saw $169 return LAS to LAX. I am the biggest wuss about flying (ask my DS and DH!!) and I am flying all by myself (for the first time in my life, I might add ). You can do it!!! And then you could come to Ariel's for lunch - you know you wanna



Are the other people from Las Vegas flying or driving?? Maybe car pool????

So, I can come Thursday, Friday and leave on Saturday. Saturday is a black out day for me, so I wouldn't be doing the park anyway.

OK, reservations have been made for Carnation Cafe. As you know the only way to make it work was to do different seating times/tables.
So what I need from you now is for each person ALREADY signed up for Carnation Cafe to please let me know first of all IF you have a seating preference and if so, which time so we can get those lists organized.
(I know 2 or 3 of you talked about this already but it's in the old thread, so can you please repeat it.)
