So I found the cutest tote last night! No clues, but I hadn't even planned to do the tote exchange but I couldn't help it! And I will be adding a bit of to it of course!

I thought about doing that for my son's 13th birthday. But I am thinking
he will have his braces by then. So that might not be a good idea, kwim.

I'm going to school for Health Information Technology. I graduate this Spring and will sit for the national exam for my credentials in the Summer.

Wow, that is great! Are you thinking about working for Kaiser when you are done?

I worked at Kaiser for a few years at the appointment call center in Anaheim when I was younger. My aunt is in Nursing Admin. also in Anaheim and I have another aunt who works at Kaiser there in Anaheim. Not sure what she does though. (did I say Anaheim enough? )

It is a great place to work! Great benefits.

No, not Kaiser. I did some directed practice there (sorta like internship) and it just wasn't for me. I currently work at the Children's Hospital and I love it. I prefer to work at large facilities that are non profit stand alones. Kaiser is just too large of a company and is a for profit place. Just not my thing. Those who I met who work for them, love it though.

Meanwhile, I am feeling your pain from a few days ago when you were home with Maddie. I am home with Ty today--I think it's just a cold, but we have a doctor's appt at noon today just to make sure. He is running a fever (which means no daycare) and has a bad cough that kept him up most of the night.

But, on a positive note, I should be able to keep up with most of the chat today!

I totally would, but Tuesdays are horrible for me. I work from 7-4 and then have class from 5-10. So no free time for me on Tuesdays.

I need to think of something fun for my 40th. Ruben turns 40 in January of 2011 and I turn 40 in October of 2011. Same year just a few months later. So we were thinking of celebrating our birthdays together somewhere in the middle........perhaps June. (Late for him, early for me)

We've talked about taking a family cruise to Alaska. So if we decide to do that it will mean no ladies trip for me in 2010 since I'll be saving every penny for that cruise.
Anyway, whether we do a cruise or not, I know I want to do something BIG!

So far it seems either Friday or Sunday are our best bets.
Thursday is too busy and people are arriving at all different times.
Saturday is way too busy with the character meal, the hunt, the tour, etc.

Friday we could do it in between lunch and dinner?
Or on Sunday after lunch?

I know not everyone is interested in doing this but I hope we can get a couple ladies who would be willing to. So those who would like to pose for a pic, what day/time do you prefer?

Morning! I was looking at pictures from a cruise I took back in 2001 yesterday. I want to go again sometime. I'd love to do a Disney cruise when the kids get a little bigger. I also hope adventures by Disney is still around in about 10 years or so. They have some vacations that I would love to do!

Another day in paradise here. It rained last night. I love the sound of rain. The boys are fighting lots lately. I should clarify...Nathan is hitting the terrible twos hard, and is beating his brother up every chance he gets. He's been in time out 3 times already this morning. I hope my little one lives through the year.

Not much else going on. I'm in for the tote bag exchange...it sounds like fun to me.

Well, it's something to ease the pain of turing 40 anyway!
Actually the only thing that worries me (besides the cost) is getting sea sick. I haven't been on a cruise in at least 15 years, probably more. I can't remember. So I'm not sure how I'd reacte on the water, and I'd hate to fork out all that money only to spend every day sick in my cabin!

But I do want to go to Alaska. If not a cruise, maybe a land tour. We have time to think about it.

It doesn't matter to me. I am flexible and will just go with the flow.

OK, well, I hope we get a decent sized group willing to do this. I'm hoping for at least 10 ladies. So maybe some others will post when or if they'd like to do it.

Adventures in Disney has an Alaskan trip that I fell in love with! It's perfect, everything I'd ever wanted to do in Alaska. A dream vacation. But when we figured out how much it would be for all six of us, the total was over $17,000!!!!!

I miss the rain! I'm jealous. Sorry about the boys fighting. I'd like to tell you it gets better but my kids bicker all the time!
