Can I just say that I will be leaving here in just about 10 hours and I am NOWHERE near ready to go yet... And yet, here I am reading the 15 new pages you added since last night. Seriously work gets in the way sometimes! But, now I am home and ready to get ready to go!!! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Also, I am going to warn everyone that I made a little something to pass out tomorrow night, but I only have 40 as the headcount a few days ago was around 35. I can make more and send them out after the fact, but I don't have time to do so tonight. So, I'm going to apologize in advance in case I don't have enough for everyone in the class. I WILL make it up to you if you don't get one tomorrow!

Man am I last minute! I noticed this thread again on Monday night, convinced my husband I should take fairycat's VIP this morning, got the day off confirmed from my mgr, and now going to DL! I LOVE living this close! I am planning to be there Thurs night (traffic dependent), Fri, and Sat morning. Just going to put this out there, if there is anything with an opening on those days, let me know and I will try to fill it. (esp the scavenger hunt. Extra incentive - my team has won MouseAdventure before)

Well if you have done MouseAdventure, you might find this a little tame!

We purposely made it that way, cuz there are some of us, who are real new to this stuff. Namely me!!! No...........just kidding.

But now matter how easy it is, it still should be alot of fun.

I am going back and forth about spending a couple of nights in Orlando--I'm going the end of this month and seriously thinking of renting a car in December and spending a day or two in Cocoa Beach to let Mom rest up so she is ready to go on the cruise and not going to WDW

I have to share my bad design story with you.

The hospital that I work at just opened a brand spanking new multi million dollar building. This building houses the new neuro units-med/surg, tele, icu, and a couple neuro OR suites. They also house the new women's and children's wing. It is 5 stories tall.

The building is beautiful, it's almost done, they have their first inspection, and they fail. Why, you ask?

Because they forgot to build any elevators into the plan!!!

A hospital with no elevators.... I'm sure someone got fired over that one. It set the grand opening behind by two months. They also ended up not being able to move the bariatric unit over there as planned because the elevators it ended up with were too small for the bari beds.

I would suspect that not only did some architects lose their job, but some people at the city are probably in deep doo doo. Planning should have caught that when the plans were submitted--NOT after the dang building was built. Unbelievable. What's really scary is that most architect contracts have a clause that you can't sue them for more than their fee (which I would hope was a lot less than the cost of building a 5-story building, but if there is that clause it would be interesting to see if it stands up in this circumstance!)

You gals have a great time on your trip!!!! We'll be coming in before you leave & I saw a schedule early on.....if I'm right you're meeting at the Tiki Room for a group shot on Sunday at 10??? If that's correct, I'm going to try & get over that way just so I can wave hi at all the DIS gals!!!!

BB was really good - I had the short ribs (yummo). I thought I'd be uncomfortable in there by myself, but I wasn't. I'm ready for a little company now though....... but I have had the chance to speak to a lot of people. I think I'm the nonthreatening, easy to approach type of person I might like to try being the super gorgeous, intimdating type of person some day

How late are people going to be around for the meet & greet on Thursday? I'm going to be driving in after I get off work, so likely won't be to Anaheim until late. May have to stop @ target tomorrow & pick up a tiara if the traffic gets bad.

I think that should be fine. There are some who don't drink, and some who will drink for two. It will be fine. Plus we have all the other drinks too. And I wouldn't want you to feel like you need to do more sampling.

I am fighting to stay awake. I can do all four days but have to take that break form 4 to 6 each day. Cannot eat pizza and never know with mom and car and food reactions how I will do. I am popping lots of vitamin C since dinner to make sure my immune system is happy.

I still am not packed and ready for tomorrow. When I do a day at parks it is like planning for a trip around the world, lol.

I am missing something important besides my purse.
