Hey all!

I'm back from a wonderful nap! My little one who usually takes 45 minute naps is going on his third hour. He's sooo sick. Poor baby.

My older one is in there singing to himself. It's so sweet! :lovestruc

I'm going to miss them and worry about them sooo much!

Am I really going to be at DLR tomorrow? Someone pinch me, it doesn't feel real.

Molly, food theifs are bad also. I used to work night shift where there is no food available except for vending machines. Heck you can't even order chinese at 2am. Anyway, we had a food theif. Someone rigged up a meal of bad meats and cheeses, with exlax brownies. Our food was never taken again! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Do Toy Story its a blast!!! It hurts my wrist injury a bit but it is so much fun!

I have to say while I think Peter Pan is so cool, I am guilty of only riding it about ever 5-10 years because the line is always sooooooo long!

But with some of my favorite fast rides off my list its going to be more Fantasyland time for me in the future.

Trips like these are perfect to get in those long lost favorites or new rides you always miss!!

I am so sad I didn't get more involved in this thread. I am so not into this trip and have so much going on this week, I am debating skipping the trip to get some work done :( Or maybe I am just hormonal

Ohhhh man, I hope you come! :flower3:

Tell those hormones to take a hike!!!

fairycat... it's funny people get our names confuzzled! i always think that's alright, she's kewl!

well what is toy story like? i know nothing about it except for what i've seen when i walk by it.

i'm not going on any of the roller coasters or ScarDy CaT BeWaRe rides...

i've always wanted to post this little person..:bride: ..she looks like a little communion girL..not a bride:rotfl: :rotfl:

Good golly miss Molly!

Hey! I didn't do it all. :)

I know I know, just a phrase...it's amazing how all people I know, at one point, will call me Miss Molly. Young, old, doesn't matter...that song must be inside human DNA now b/c everyone, at some point, does it. :upsidedow

Possibly just hormonal. I skipped SO much while pregnant. Felt sad, felt ugly (and I was, oh I was), felt fat, felt tired...skipped it all. Regretted that so much later. Join us. You can always leave if it turns you really don't want to be there...

Peter Pan has to be done FIRST thing on a non-MM morning. So if you can, first thing Friday morning. NOT Sat or Sun, b/c the MM people will be filling that line up by the time you get there (unless you have access to MM).

TSMM is such a good ride!

Oh goodness. Though I guess you could take care of their sickness (assuming you work in a hospital), right? On the other hand, they would probably go somewhere else...otherwise..."patient presents with excessive pooping and food poisoning...guess what we found our thief!" :)

Dawn, Toy Story is very fun--it can be a little jerky in places, but even this ride weenie loves it! However, if you don't take a handicapped car when you get off you have to go up and down stairs to get out! Don't know if that's an issue for your Mom. I think I will definitely be doing the handicapped route this time--last time I made it up and down the stairs but am still paying for it. (Someone--please remind me when I go in to go and get a GAC card (although I'll be on a scooter too so may not need it).

Good question. I've been wondering that myself lately. Wendy, where you at girl???

I'm here in Claremont and it's pretty rainy and wet.
Glad you made it safe and sound. :)

Don't be sad. Your busy! It happens. But as someone who didn't get the chance to meet you the first time around, you know I'd love the chance to see you this time if you are feeling up to it.

Nawwww, you won't need a GAC if you're on a scooter.:thumbsup2

CheryL...what's a GAC card?
I am SO glad you told me about the stairs!
If you need to go in the cars you mentioned what do You do?

Happy & Safe travels to everybody.
I am coming tomorrow after work (1ish) and Chris (Califgrl) is driving up from San Diego too. We're just spending the day & evening. Glad it worked out for us both, it will be fun to see everybody.
I love Toy Story Mania and could ride it over and over! On my last girls trip to WDW, we went to a private party at the studio's and got to ride TSMania over and over since the park was closed. I think we all sprained our arm/shoulders from going on it so much....LOL So much fun!

Guest Assistance Card.

If you have troubles that might keep you from getting onto rides in the main queue, go to City Hall and tell them what help you need. If you can't do stairs, tell them that, and they will give you a card that you can present at the rides with stairs, so you can go in a different entrance. Splash will be one...Indy another...TSMM... It's to help guests out so they can enjoy things and not have to sit things out, just b/c the queues aren't workable for them.

That's the nutshell explanation for your situation based on what you just said. There's more, of course. And the stairs in TSMM are kick-your-butt, not really expected stairs, IMO!

aahh.. thanks for telling me.. i'm going to get it for my mom for sure. :thumbsup2
If i can find guest relations:rotfl:

Yeah 4 fosterkids:yay: ...that's really great you are getting to come!

GAC is the Guest Assistance Card and it lets the CM know that a guest has a hidden disability like no stairs, hard of hearing/deaf, and vision limitations.

I have one good for this week. You get them at the Guest services inside parks and outside of parks You do not need one if you are using a rollator, wheelchair, powerchair or ECV. If a person uses a stroller as a wheelchair they can get a tag allowing the parent to take the stroller anywhere that a wheelchair goes.

I have the brochure and you must use disabled for Toy Story as it has lots of stairs. I can do it but it would be the end of me for the day. Also Tower of Terror will give you a fast pass later in the day and you can use it up to closing because the line is not eCV friendly.

I told um, memory lapse, that I will be there tomorrow for Ariel's. I am up for an ECV race if anyone is game. ECV users be warned that you will not get to feel the effects of 3D shows unless you transfer to a regular seat. Bug's life you have to watch your back as the regular seats have a stinger and nearly caused me to wrench my ribs from reacting to the pain, I have a bad disc.

My forte for parks is disability and allergens by the way.

I often wondered if people got our names confused! I didn't know I was cool though :rotfl: I think I am a bit dorky, but that might be because I just came back from a Comic book convention and was thinking of trying to do three days at Disneyland in one week. :rotfl2:

Toy Story is much like Buzz Lightyear, but includes 3-D and a pull string trigger. I think in some ways Buzz is more fun, but in other ways Toy Story is the best. I think both are fun!

I love roller coasters, but even if I wanted to thanks to pregnancy I get even a little bit motion sick until I get used to the boats on Small World :scared1: So little rides for me for a while.

Thanks guys you are definetly making me feel better :cutie: I hope I can make it, this has been a fun and tough week and I still have more to come! But kitty is very happy that at least we are home today, he hated the two hours in the car yesterday :(

CheryL... what do you tell them when you get your card?
will they let me go with my mom if i don't have one of the cards?:confused3
or will they say
NO souP for YoU!

Fairycat...do you like Cosplay? sometimes the costumes are so cute!

I hope that your kitty gets better real soon. My little chihuahua broke her front leg on easter last year..it was really scary, i was so afraid we would lose her. But after 2 operations she's doing super great. We say we have the most expensive chihuahua in el paso:rotfl2:

Toy Story Mania has a siding where disabled guests board at their speed. Some regular cars are brought in there. The wheelchair car has a drop down back that makes a ramp. The chair is rolled in and the ramp raised. This car is also for persons who cannot pull the string as it has a bangable button.

Space mountain has a siding for disabled guests to load at their pace. Bobsled make the person get in the regular line. I think Buzz has a wheelchair car also. Jungle Cruise will pull out of dry dock a disabled boat that allows chairs and to board via a ramp. Tiki Room has an elevator as does Mansion. Subamrines have a viewing area for chickens and people who cannot get into the submarines without doing stairs but I never tried that. Enter the exit of the monorail to access the Elevator.

Make a list of disability and allergen questions and Iwill gladly answer them.

hugs and dole whips

You will be able to go with your Mom they allow up to a certain number of people to go with a person with a card on any ride, they don't want you ridin by yourself just cause you need some help, that would be unDisney of them.
