Girls Only Disneyland Trip!! Old thread. New link in first post

Okay for the girls who are riding the Super Shuttle with Heather and I, I just want to make sure I have everyone counted before I make the reservation: Stacie, Heather, Tina, Tina's mom, January. That's it, right? If anyone else is arriving into Orange County/John Wayne/Santa Ana airport on Thursday between 11:30am and noon, you can ride with us; it's $8.50/person. But you have to let me know today.

I am in...I sent your check on Tuesday. Were we riding back together on Monday?

hhhmmm.. well... it is sad here.
my mom just called and one of our good lifelong friends, daughter is dying of cancer and they have called hospice in. They think she will pass while we are gone on our trip. So my mother and i have been picking out flowers to send to the funeral and writing it all down for my husband to order. And we also picked out a lovely bird bath with a St. Francis statue for our friends garden as a rememberance of her daughter. It is very sad.. she has 5 children and is so young to be dying. Cancer is a vile theif.
Our friend has been somewhat in denial for a year, my mother pressing her to go be with her daughter more so she has no regrets of time not shared later.. and finally last week our friend broke down to my mother crying that her daughter is dying. My mom was there with and for her..such a good friend. It's just so sad. For who wants to admit their child is dying. Very Very heartbreaking.

Wow you guys sure have been chatty. I am caught up ( I think) but won't comment since it was really way too much.

I am needing some prayers and pixie dust for my BFF. Her DD was born 3 weeks ago and they just found out that she has VSD, a hole in her heart. They were actually lucky to find it when they did. If not, she probably would have gone into congestive heart failure. Normally they would wait until she is older to correct it surgically, or it self corrects. But the hole is so large it won't. So the baby will be having surgery sometime tomorrow. So good thoughts would be wonderful. Thanks!

Dawn, I will keep your friend in my prayers. It seems that many of us have sadness and worry in our lives right now. I will keep all of us in my thoughts.

I love seeing my ticker say only days to go!!!! Next week at this time, I will be living it up with my VIP friends. I can't wait!!!

One thing about going on the girls only Disboard trip is that life is shared.
Happiness, Hopes, Dreams, Sadness and Frustration... it's so much more than a few days on the calender.

hhmmm... speaking of a few days on a calender.. it's just a few days on the calendar til we leave!!

And that is a very good thing.

That statement is so true. Our group has been able to share so much with one another. I love that everyone is so understanding and supportive of one another.

Yes, we are. Is there anyone else whose plane leaves OC/John Wayne/Santa Ana around 5-5:30pm on Monday? We can ride to the airport together, it's $9.50 a person.

Thank you! I'm hoping I don't mess it up when I transfer it.

Girls, I need your help deciding something. I bought two white shirts from Wal-mart (they were pretty much non-existent so I was lucky to find two different kinds of shirts). One is a relaxed fit Hanes tee but it's XL and it fits me but I'm pretty sure if I wash it it will shrink and I want to wear it again.

The second shirt is more of a short sleeve blouse and it has a drawstring around the collar to so it's kind of scrunched up. But it does fit a lot better.

Which one should I pick?

Tonight no, he is at home with a huge hangover, I mean he is a little under the weather today.
I am going to the movies with some friends.
Tomorrow maybe...I will be out with my friends & a few of his friends.
I am actually going to the MMA fights with his friends. One of them are usually our waitress at the bar/casino we go to. So I am sure we will meet up at some point.
