Michelle, where did you buy the 2-fers? Vons? If so, are they vouchers that need to be exchanged or tickets you take directly to the turnstiles?

I'm thinking of asking my friend's dh (he has a valid CA id), to purchase the 2-fers for us at Disneyland on Sunday night (where they will ask for his id). Then they most likely will not ask for it at the turnstiles. I think they may be more likely to ask for ID at the turnstiles with the Von's 2-fers. I'm just going to assume here and YES, I do know what that word means. I'm laughing here to hide my true feelings which are this:

The three of us are all still in the ending phases of being sick, it's really annoying.

Yesterday Eamon woke up relatively early and went out to find hubby...he had gone to sleep on the couch early in the morning for some reason...well I guess E wasn't wanting to eat, and by about 10 I was awakened (on hubby's weekends he lets me sleep in, yay hubby) by a small kid with a naaaasty headache. Which promptly got so bad I was about to take him to the ER, but needed to use the bathroom first...so I handed him off to hubby...then I came back in, picked up Eamon, and boom...he threw up all over me. It's a running joke...except for ONE time, every time E has thrown up, he's done it on me. Over my right shoulder, all down my back...sigh.

And then E felt better and slept for several hours.

Thankfully we all had chiro appts yesterday and that was good, but then after E's bedtime, I started to get the same headache (hurting in the same places he was pointing to on himself)! UGH. So today I'm feeling delicate and frail (though I certainly don't look it) and not wanting to do *anything* to bring that near migraine back.




Why does Eamon, at 4.5, love the movie Mamma Mia so much? And at what point will I have to fast forward through the Honey Honey song? Once he learns half the lyrics? All? Any? I put the movie on, but I have to ignore it, b/c two parts of the movie make me sooooo sad, one b/c I am missing my mom scads (it's coming up on 9 years since she died and that sucks) and the other b/c Merryl Streep makes me cry. I don't want to cry, it might bring back the headache, so I'm ignoring it.

Hey local ladies, I have a question for you all.

As I have mentioned before, our family is driving over to CA early next week to spend time with our friends in Claremont (just 30 miles away from DLR). Their whole family has S. Cal APs.

I was going to have my friend, Michelle, help us get the 2-fer tickets for my family so we could go to DLR for the kids' birthdays instead of Legoland. The problem is, when my friends bought their APs, the dh used his new CA driver's license to get them all. My friend, Michelle, still has an AZ license for several different reasons, but mostly procrastination. Anyway, the upshot is, if they ask for id at the gate with our 2-fers, my friend and her kids will be with us, but she will only have her S. Cal AP, and an AZ driver's license. What do you think the chances are that they'll turn us away? Do any of you have experience with using the 2-fer for out-of-state family or friends? I'm getting way too nervous about all this, but I MUST do this the cheapest way possible.

Any advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

I have never been asked in the past when we used two-fers. I know they ask when you purchase them, but after that I have never been asked. I don't see them asking at the gate. WHy would they? They already asked when they were bought you know. I say go for it.

Hi girls!!!

So I hope this is somehow possible (I still need to talk to my parents) but I have gotten some money! Thank the LORD for tax returns and a job! But I get paid next Thursday, too.

Anyways, if I get the go-ahead with my 'rents do any of you think it would be possible for me to bunk with you for two nights? I would be arriving Thursday night, but too late for the pizza party ( I have class from 6:30-9:30p) and leaving Saturday late afternoon/evening.

Now I have to try and find the t-shirt information.


I'll definitely need to do some to get my parents to let me go.

My Husband and I found out about the Food and Wine Festival at Disneyland last year *after* it was over.
And so we wanted to go. I tried to learn a little bit about it, yet it seemed confusing. What was where and when do you register, how and if i register can i do it for the both of us? So many alice in wonderland questions.

Then today with the help of prettyprincessbelle.. i was able to book the Napa Rose Cooking Class!!!!!!!

It's a gift for my Husband for his birthday, He's such a good boyfriend all the year through.

So I am home sick today. Not totally sick, just not well. I either ate something that didn't agree with me, or have a touch of the stomach flu. I didn't sleep at all last night. I dropped DD off at school this morning at 7, then came home and climbed back into bed with my dog. The two of us slept until noon! I am feeling better now, but I don't think I will be going to class tonight. Don't want to chance anything.

I haven't done my tink shirt yet. I can't find my white shirt I was gonna use. I think it got lost in the laundry or my dryer ate it. Its no where to be found. I am gonna have to put my detective skills to use and get on it today.

Editing to add...though last night's headache (or more specifically early this morning) caused me to find out that kid's ibuprofen syrup works much faster than a pill. I'm a total lightweight with medicine since I so rarely take it, and we had the kid's syrup sitting around. Had it from before we realized Eamon's corn syrup problems, and that's what generally makes syrup syrupy, so no one was using it. I didn't want to wait for a pill to dissolve, and the headache was really really bad, and I took only half a tablespoon and it worked nearly instantaneously. Which was good, b/c the ice packs that worked so well for DS (along with his being "sick" on me) weren't cutting it for me!

Just a quick hello! I've been getting things done around the house so no time to really chat. And then the kids will be home soon so it will get even busier.

I hope everyone feeling sick is better soon!! That's my big fear now, getting sick before or on the trip.

Oh, and I watched Changeling. It was really good! Anyone else seen that movie?? I simply cannot believe that was a true story. Makes me want to do more research on it to learn more. It was unbelievable and so tragic too.
