Today's session was soooo much better! I was more relaxed, we talked some about Nathan, and she gets it!
I'm always worried that other people don't see what I do, but she does and she's given me great tips to help him along. As long as we are moving forward, I am good. Nathan is a great person, and I want him to be the best Nathan that he can be.
Jane, my ped was exactly like yours, older, laidback, loved him. He blew me off at Nathan's 18 month appointment in August. In November, I couldn't wait any longer, and I referred him for an evaluation through our states early intervention program. Listen to your gut, and think hard about things. If you feel astrong need to get things looked at do it! You know your child better than anyone.
