DH and I rented a few points from a nice DisBoarder and spent 4 nights at SSR in a studio, just the two of us. We loved it and thought SSR was beautiful!

I would love to buy into the DVC someday. My sister belongs, and doesn't use it. I secretly hope to buy her points, but she's not ready to give them up yet. Her home base is Key West, and I love that resort!
I'm having an ok day. Some of you will appreciate my frustration with the red tape of getting my son services. I have worked so hard to get things for him, and now, they are threatening to drop him completely due to budget cuts. I just got off the phone with the office of my representative, and they said that she will probably call me back this afternoon. They want her to hear my story. I hope I can affect good change. My only other hope, is to finally get an official diagnosis next week. The system sucks. He's so delayed, but if he doesn't fall into an actual autism diagnosis, he won't qualify for any services starting March 1st. I wish I would win the lottery, then I could protect my child's rights myself, and not have to depend on the government to do the right thing by us.
The boys are down for a nap...I'm going to go take a bubble bath. I need some relief.

We stayed at Coronado Springs in December and it was lovely. I think the Caribbean Beach looks wonderful too. We also stayed one night at the All Star Movies Resort, and we liked it too. Seriously, I think all the WDW resorts are just so cool, that we could stay at any of them and be perfectly happy!
I'd love to buy into DVC.....especially at the Grand Californian!!!!!!.....but we just don't have the money. Heck, we've never had the money to even stay at the Grand Californian for one night, let alone buy a DVC contract. I'm still going on the tour though, so I can drool. Remind me to bring a bib.
But there are so many other, cheaper, options at DLR I just can't see using it there.
With Coronado, is that slide at the pool OK for a 5 year old? I know he'd have to go down alone, but could a 5 year old deal with it? That was the big draw, well and the grounds, but then I noticed someone saying something negative about younger kids and the slide...
I hadn't even paid attention to CBR until I realized that there's some huge rivalry between CSR and CBR, and that caused me to look at pix of CBR, and it too, is lovely!
What's funny is that I don't think I'd ever use DVC at DLR. I've never even been to WDW, but if we had a big windfall I would totally use it to buy DVC out at WDW, thereby making a commitment to go there at least once a year, sight entirely unseen! We're crazy like that.
Ha ha though, ask me after the tour, though!

Yeah, they will say anything! I'm telling ya it's just like kids. lolI know what you mean. My Mom will start to do something and I hate to see her struggle so I will try to help--but she wants to do it HERSELF, darn it! so you stand there and watch and wait. We've had a couple of tiffs about that because she gets mad and I get frustrated. and have you noticed that as they get older they become much more bold about asking questions? Nothing is off limits!
Thanks. I'm back. My family is on the road and it's super quiet here now. Weirdly quiet. Maybe it's good because I have a headache from being so tense at the dentist.Who is going to still be at DL on Monday? My flight doesn't leave until 5:30pm-ish. So, I will still be lingering until about 1-2pm.
