Dawn: I suspect that you accidentally hit the "quotes" at the bottom of one of your posts--even if you go to another thread and then come back if you then hit "post reply" it will quote what you had "marked" previously So I suspect that is what happened.

Well Perez Hilton always has some links to new and interesting musicians who don't always get airplay....and i'm interested in seeing how people are responding to the Chris Brown and Rhiannon situation. ReaLLy that's just an excuse.. i'm a faithful Perez Hilton Fan reader..i cannoT lie. Also..EvilBeet ... and imnotobsessed..and PopSugar.
I used to buy people and us.. but then i thought why not just read the celebrity net blogs and save a tree.

I know Wendy!! I liked that one too.. I wrote it down to buy and burn to a cd. There are so many talented people in the world who never get a chance to have their art seen or heard. Perez also gave Katy Perry and M.I.A. there start on his site. Go PereZ. And hasn't he lost alot of weight this year! He said he did it the hard way by going to the gym. I believe him because it took him the course of a year to do it.

I had a HUGE post that stopped making sense...but at the heart of it...jordansmama...I still say it sounds like you're going on a date, even if it makes you comfy calling it "hanging out"...whatever you like.




And just to explain my mention of the hated dr laura...listening to her show casually helped me see that an action I was set on was ridiculous, and changed my life for what I am certain is the better. I was going to have my chiro school "hanging out partner" move out here to be with me... Seemed a good idea to me. The fact that he had two tiny kids didn't click with me...they were the product of a tricky woman who had told him that it was a "safe" time, no protection needed, two times in 2 years...she was in school with us and absolutely psychotic...ended school with NO friends b/c she had scared them all away...her best friend stopped being her best friend, told Rich that she had even planned the first kid (Rich thought the second was planned but the first was a true accident), she found out the friend told, and she punctured all four of the friend's VERY expensive white-wall SUV tires...

Anyway, I wasn't thinking there was much wrong, and one day listening to DLaura it hit me that a man who would leave his loved children behind like that (he wasn't even upset about it) wasn't necessarily going to stick around with OUR children... And along with that, i did NOT want psycho in my life. So I dropped him.

And that is why I don't mind mentioning Dr Laura, but then, I haven't listened to her show (does she have a show anymore?) since the late 90s.

Ok, geesh people...its a DATE...but only because its Valentines Day...after that its just merely hanging out...
I am just really confused today.
Oh well..he is a great friend & we enjoy hanging out.

I guess Chris does have his points...no kids (not that it would be if he did because I do) & the BEST part is no EX WIFE!! no really..BB had an ex-wife she was horrible!! She said awful horrible things about me and I just stood there and took it. Because I was not going to stoop to her level of pettiness.
Now she thinks she is my BFF...I think not...

It was snowing gorgeously a little while ago, and I was just sad we're too sick to get outside in it. Well, actually, if I weren't so dizzy I might have bundled us up, b/c the other day getting outside even to just sit in the car while hubby and son went into the stores made me feel better...but I really had no interest in falling.

Please keep the snow on the west side...(said in my best gangsterist voice evah... )

April 26th is MouseAdventure--a game similar to our scavenger hunt that is sponsored by (ahem) another board. I have played in this several times before with a team, but this year, the adults in our team are going to be out of town that weekend! So, I am in search of team members (up to four people can be on a team, so we need up to three members). And, if there are any local gals who want to play, you can either meet us at DL or come and stay with us the night before or the whole weekend and do slumber party time!

The deal is this: I will front the registration fee AND will offer my house as free accommodations for the weekend (although some may be on the couch--but Wendy can tell you it's not bad) and the best part is you get to go to Disneyland!!! If you are interested please PM me--the registration takes place on this FRIDAY and I have to be online at 8 a.m because last time it sold out by 8:40 a.m.!!! I will tell you it is an all-day affair and you will get tired--but it is a LOT OF FUN. As MaryJo and Califgirl can attest (they are on another team with Tink33).

So let me know!

Ack! This sounds like so much fun! I don't know if I should do it or not, I'd hate to bring the team down...I get confused very easily. It's so funny, 'cause today I was looking at my calendar and thinking, "hmm, I have trips planned for this month, next month, June and July, but nothing for April or May." This would be perfect! I don't no what to do! Ahhhhh!!!!!

Is it bad that I am not local, but am very tempted by this? Is that also the opening weekend of the Food and Wine Fest? But I'm thinking Marty won't let me go to Disneyland two months in a row without him! How do you feel about boys on your team? He moves swiftly and might even buy you a corn dog!
