OK, it came out that I was going to Disneyland tonight at home. I expected my sons to make a fuss, but instead they just nonchalantly made their orders on what legos I should get them at the Downtown Disney lego store. So they are totally cool with me going, as long as I bring back gifts. I suspected all along that I was more crazy about Disneyland than the kids.

AW!! They must be growing up!

Well at least you'll do TOT as long as you're with someone. I rode it once at WDW, and can't get myself to ride it again. And I'm not much of a ride whimp, but that dropping sensation......not my favorite thing.





Oh, and I call dibs on Christabel's jello shots!

I should be in bed...I could've been in bed if I hadn't washed my clothes for tomorrow with a dove chocolate egg in the pocket.

So, now I have to wait for the washer to stop, and then I'm in bed.


I call a couple of jello shots, a treasure from Jane, a chair close to the candy buffet, and a high number for the tote bag game.

Have you done this before or somethin?

Ok ok, I will give you one of my extra shots. Geez. When I told DBF the drinks that I am bringing for the party, he asked what I was bringing for everyone else. lol

The bread at WCT is soooo good. I love that butter stuff they give with it.

Well, with the jello shot called for, I guess that leaves me with the booze. Oh, and the bread/rolls at Ariel's. I seriously think I could live on just bread and Diet coke.

Lots of people can live on that. Good bread and water and I am good to go.

I am finally done packing and I heading to bed. I spent the evening with DD and told her I am going to be leaving for a few days. She got all panicky until I told her Nana will be here with her. She was fine after that. She doesn't know where I am going and I want it to stay that way.

I don't drink so all my drinks are up for grabs. I do drink diet Coke or diet Pepsi, on the rocks. I know how to PARTAY!


I ran out of laminate and was only able to make 30 phone lists. I am sorry...please don't hurt me!

Stacie B and Stacie F-----have you all received my money?

I don't think anyone will hurt you! Are you going to bring some not lamenated though? I'm not sure I ever received the final phone list after everyone checked theirs.

Also, I am going to warn everyone that I made a little something to pass out tomorrow night, but I only have 40 as the headcount a few days ago was around 35.

Well I won't be there on Thursday, so that's one off your list.

I would suspect that not only did some architects lose their job, but some people at the city are probably in deep doo doo. Planning should have caught that when the plans were submitted--NOT after the dang building was built. Unbelievable. What's really scary is that most architect contracts have a clause that you can't sue them for more than their fee (which I would hope was a lot less than the cost of building a 5-story building, but if there is that clause it would be interesting to see if it stands up in this circumstance!)

Why do I have a feeling Lexis (or is it Nexis? which is the law part...gawd, hubby worked at LN for a couple years, you'd think I would know) or the other law info site will be getting some heavy searching on this subject?

And that's just why I emailed it to my city planner friend, so she can say "d'oh" at whatever planner signed off on the permits. I mean, she spent ALL day today looking at ONE proposal to make sure everything was fine...very detail oriented...and she's been a city planner since '94!

So they are totally cool with me going, as long as I bring back gifts. I suspected all along that I was more crazy about Disneyland than the kids.

Sounds familiar. With me there's the added layer of how crazed I get on family trips if I haven't had a solo trip...I'm a much better travel companion at disneyland if I go more often than the guys want to go. He's also made us VERY aware that he doesn't want anymore short trips. Only long trips. He likes the slower pace of a long trip. Very self aware of how he likes to do Disneyland, isn't he?

Anyone up for riding Tower of Terror??? That is one ride that I was not brave enough to do alone (that and Splash Mountain and Grizzly River - didn't want to get soaked by myself!).

I won't be there Thurs, but on the other days I'm up for it. I'll do Splash if you insist, and i'll happily go on Grizzly as many times in a row as needed.

I do recommend ponchos though.

And remember, for Grizzly, all valuables go into the free lockers nearby!

I know you had a problem with them last weekend and that you got an injury b/c of one...but I think they're gone THIS weekend, yes? They'll be back the last two weekends of March (though they aren't actually performing in the parks like they did this weekend, from what I read), my half-sis included. I can't believe she's a cheerleader; I can't believe even more that my stepmom is a cheer-mom. Life is weird.

Noi the cheerleaders did not hurt me. I hurt myself by squishing my rump into a small tender seat and driving an ECV wrecklessly. A fat leg just does not fit between a post and an ECV unless you are several feet away. I am known as a curb hugger, lol.

Momm gets her snack and I got warm clothes all set out. I will be wearing a snowman burgandy sweatshirt with dark pants. You will know me if you see me lol.
