Girls Only Disneyland Trip ~ Old thread, link to new one in first post

Last year, Dec I think, Disney came out with little 3" Mickeys. Designers came up with concepts for the paint. They're sold blind, so you don't know which one you are getting. You either love these or hate them, they are not typical happy Disney Mickeys. They can be a little twisted.

I'm a fan. ;)

Kid Robot and other lines did this first. There is also a vinylmation pin line, but we think they made more of those because pins are easier to produce.

I just checked out part of the collection on the Disney site and OMG! I would so start collecting...if I had a real, stable job! Shucks!

My opinion of on site: Not really any closer. The maps will tell you that, and I have experienced that too. Well, except Grand Californian of course. Or at least some of it. But, it is nice to not walk on street with the locals:)

When I stayed at CCI, we got a premium room and had breakfast delivered. It was really quite lovely. But those rooms are small. Absolutely no place to put any extra luggage. At Hojo's, we had space for food, space for luggage, space for souvenirs, space for toys. It was awesome. Family trip that is. Ladies trip was pretty spacious too, but not as big as NQQ1.

Don't tell anyone, because I don't want them to think I am nuts, but I have the kids King Suite at Hojo's reserved in Dec. for another family trip. Hoping this time my Mom will take time away from wallowing in her misery to come and have some fun with us. I am dying to see the layout and pics of the Pirate theming etc. The descriptions says two rooms, King bed and bunk beds, two baths, plus it's a suite, so there should be kitchenette and sofa (it says sofa bed). It actually sleeps 6! It is $164 at high season, but I think I will get the 20% AP discount. It is about $135 in lower season though. How many divas would fit in that?? I could share a king bed with anyone!

Hmm...I am having a memory. There is some way to call in and give them the UPC code and they can look up the number and see if anyone has claimed the reward yet. If not, then they can give those to you. Can't remember where I saw that. So, if you have the box, it may not be too late! I probably have a ton of these but am too lazy to check it out.

Hmmm...maybe I will check out the emails I keep getting and see if there is a number to call about that. Thanks.

There is a pirate room there? Well crud...my kids would love that. Oh well I already have the timeshare booked, although I maybe regretting this...

I would share that room! schooch over I love king size beds, they are so roomy! :rotfl2:

From One Mc to the rest Happy St Patty's day!!

Today I am off to have more blood sucked from my body! BLEH! But then since I am right there I have to do a little Easter Bunny shopping. We will be gone the entire week of Spring Break and don't get back till Good Friday so it is either now or never. Have to get the girls basket stuff and pretty much as soon as I get back I have to start thinking about Shelby's birthday.

We will probalby let her get a few small things at the parks and then she wants a Nintendo DS (rolls eyes, wish they had those smillies on the quick answer section) but anyway since we are taking her down there we aren't doing a "kid party" this year. Her actual birthday is the 27th. Wish I had known about the free thing when I had planned this trip but so be it. Anyway I can't believe we will be back SO soon. I have a lot to do!!

I have to get all their easter stuff and get that all done and then I have a doc apt tomorrow and they have church and then the stupid school called and they are having yet ANOTHER meeting about boundaries. They closed our home school when Katy was in kindergarten and so help me if they close the school they are in now or make them move next year I will go balistic. Next year they will be in 3rd and 4th grades. It is the only school left around!

Ok off my soapbox. So I guess we will have to go to that meeting. But anyway then next week I have 2 doc apts and then on April 1 I meet with my neurologist and that night the kids have back to school night and that sunday we leave. From what I hear they are doing a play at church for easter too so I will have to ask the director when I pick them up this week if them missing 2 weeks is a problem. AHHHH too much! Anyway I am a busy bee the next few weeks.

Plus the week we are gone swim team starts and then I am REALLY not going to be around! They both go at different times so I will have to get them from school and hurry up and get their homework done and we will have to eat dinner BEFORE practice since practice doesn't end till almost 7 every night! I am going to be one tired puppy! :)

Anyway I am off to start my loop. Have a good day everyone! :)

I feel your pain!! Jordan has baseball tryouts all wk, I have finals all wk, and Kaeleb has baseball tryouts & a soccer game on Saturday, plus Jordan has 2 games to ref on Saturday...I need Mary Poppins...

Geesh I wish I would have thought about getting the boys Easter items when I was there. I really like the Mickey & Minnie that said Easter 2009.
Oh well next years. I know that in October I will grab some stuff for Christmas.

I hope everyone is having a supa dupa day!!

I'm feeling a little better. Still not really eating, my tongue is killing me! (Weird complaint I know!)
I'm sorry. I hope it continues to feel better quickly.

Oooooh, I like twisted. :rolleyes1

Good to know. Thanks!
I guess it will all come down to price for me. I'll just have to keep checking. Most likely CCI will be too pricey anyway, and it will be between HoJo and BWPPI since those were the two that seem to keep coming up in conversation as the favored off site hotels.

I did some Easter shopping yesterday. Got some movies to put in their baskets, some candies, and some little toys.
Twilight is coming out on DVD this Saturday and that is going into Noelle's basket. I know she wants it, so she'll be pleased. :goodvibes

I hope that everyone is having a good morning so far. And I hope you are wearing your green........unless you like being pinched that is. ;)

Happpy St. Patrick's Day

I still have a bruise bigger than a quarter where that lab person could not find my veins. She kept jabbing and jabbing on both arms. Lady please pan for gold somewhere else.

I am not awake yet. Yesterday I paid $3.11 for a hamburger patty, lettuce, tomato, onions, and some packets of mayo, ketchup and mustard. You thought Disney was high priced, lol, try Wendy's.

I saw info about these new rooms on the HOJO boards! :cool1: Do you happen to know when they will be available? I don't think they are ready yet, right? :confused3 I would love to book that suite for my family!:thumbsup2

Good Morning everyone and Happy St. Patrick's Day! I am having some serious Disneyland withdraws! I was only in the parks for 2 days during the DIS ladies weekend. Not enough! Actually only long enough to make me want it more!:lmao:
I really want to take the family back in mid-May. I don't think it should be crowded but the ent. rate is not available at HOJO. :confused3 In fact, when I try to check rooms on their website it says they are full? In the middle of the week in mid-May? Strange!
Anyhow, we shall see. Maybe I should just call them.
I have a road trip from California to Ohio to plan out for August and that is what I SHOULD be doing! But somehow planning 5 days (each way) of 8 hour car rides just isn't as fun!:rotfl:

I know, from Heather, that they are bookable in Oct. That's all I know. Lorealle says she doesn't know when they will be ready. To book online, just search your dates, with just best rate available. They do not show up if you search for a discount. It will say King suite with bunk beds, and then gives a description.

Same here!! I am seriously suffering today. I feel really blah. Not depressed but just......I dunno, not happy. It's so nice out and I want to be somewhere. Anywhere but sitting at home. I want to be on the coast somewhere, or in the mountains, or at Disney (of course), anywhere but here dealing with loads of laundry and all the other hum drum daily stuff, kwim?

I am hoping to spend some time in CA in June. About a week and a half visiting the inlaws, so I'm trying to plan that to keep busy.

Why are you taking a road trip to Ohio? We drove from CA to MI when we moved, and then from MI to NV.
I actually liked it. Road trips can be fun if you break them up and can do some sightseeing. What route are you taking?

We are going to Ohio to pick up my son's Service Dog. The dog is currently in training and we need to be there for a 11 day training and certification process. We are not flying because last time we flew with Jack it was he!! on earth. :scared1: I really wanted to jump off the plane.:rotfl: He has issues with going into unfamiliar places, especially small places.
So anyway, a road trip it is! I actually am looking forward to it because we will be driving through parts of the country I have never been to. Jack does really well in the car and travels the 7 hours to Disneyland without a problem and never even naps. He just stares out the window for the most part. We are hoping he does the same for this - even though it will be 5 days straight of driving!
We are taking I-80 the majority of the way. Then cut down through Indiana at some point and into Ohio. We are going to Xenia, Oh - suburb of Dayton.
